I am an seasoned technologist / architect / developer / manager with 20 years of

experience in technology creation and software development.
I enjoy practical problem solving and hands-on work. To me software development is about
craftsmanship. Even though I do enjoy creating new technologies and can write concise
specification text I also enjoy writing lines of code.
My interpersonal and communication skills are very good. I can bring clarity into complexity. I
have been told that I am easy to work with.
I have been a driving force in several global industry-shaping initiatives in the fields of IT
security, software, Internet, multimedia, payment, mobile and content protection technologies.
I have been the editor of a global standard that has been implemented in several billion
mobile devices. I was the key technical contributor to the worlds first national electronic
identity card project: FINEID (HST), launched 1999 in Finland. I have been granted three
worldwide patents, one of which has been cited in more than 100 other patent applications
(US 7421411 B2 Digital rights management in a mobile communications environment).
I have been managing specialist and developer teams and worked in large organizations, startups and as a freelancer. I have negotiated technology licensing deals worth of millions of euros.
I am fluent in C, C++, JavaScript (ES2015), Objective C and Java. The technologies I enjoy
most are node.js, MongoDB, iOS, OSX, Android, HTML5, REST, JSON, applied cryptography,
Bluetooth Low Energy, NFC, white box cryptography, gulp, Jenkins, Bootstrap, angularJS,

Recruited and set up a new development team in Delhi, India. Successfully transformed our
Java backend developers into node.js experts that were able to develop the first version of
Convego AppWorld Server in 6 months from scratch.

Technologies used in the projects included White Box Cryptography, code protection, NFC,

Convego CloudPay is a NFC contactless payment solution supporting MasterCard, Amex

features of the Android platform. The worlds first large scale commercial HCE deployment
was done by CommonWealth Bank of Australia using the Convego CloudPay product.

Convego AppWorld is a platform for financial institutions for building mobile applications and
services using web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
