Standards:
N/A
Materials:
PROJECTOR,
Toothbrush,
Toothpaste,
Cup,
water,
photocopies
of
a
toothbrush
Procedure:
1.) Please
read
each
step
completely
and
thoroughly
before
executing
it.
It
is
advisable
to
read
through
all
of
the
steps
before
executing
any
of
them,
to
avoid
having
to
read
through
a
step
with
a
mouth
full
of
toothpaste
and
a
toothbrush.
2.) Take
cup
and
fill
half
way
with
water.
3.) Take
toothbrush
out
of
container
or
packaging.
4.) Dip
the
toothbrush
into
the
cup
of
water.
5.) Place
the
toothbrush
on
the
desk
with
the
bristles
facing
up,
so
that
back
of
the
toothbrush
is
flat
against
the
desk
(or
just
touching
the
desk,
if
it
is
a
round
toothbrush).
6.) Take
the
bottle
of
toothpaste
and
remove
the
cap.
If
it
is
a
new
bottle
of
toothpaste,
remove
the
sealant
on
the
top
of
the
tube.
7.) Squeezefrom
the
bottom
of
the
toothpaste
tubeuntil
there
is
some
toothpaste
protruding
from
the
opening.
8.) Put
the
nozzle
of
the
toothpaste
tube
to
the
top
of
the
bristled
section
of
the
toothbrush,
and
squeeze,
moving
the
toothpaste
tube
down
to
the
bottom
of
the
bristled
section.
The
final
result
should
be
the
bristled
section
having
a
layer
of
toothpaste
on
top
of
it.
9.) Your
set
up
should
look
like
this:
(use
projector
to
show
images)
10.)
The
following
are
pictures
of
steps
11
13.
11.)
Now,
take
the
toothbrush
and
place
it
in
your
mouthwith
the
bristles
and
toothpaste
facing
upso
that
the
toothbrush
is
lined
up
horizontally
with
your
front
teeth,
but
hovering
just
underneath
them
12.)
Move
the
toothbrush
left
and
right,
so
that
you
are
brushing
the
bottom
of
your
front
teeth.
Do
10
strokes
(forward
and
backward
equals
2
strokes).
13.)
Now,
move
the
toothbrush
so
that
the
bristles
are
pressing
against
the
front
of
your
front
teeth,
and
move
back
and
forth.
Do
10
strokes.
14.)
Place
the
toothbrush
so
that
the
bristles
are
pressing
against
the
back
of
your
front
teeth
(to
the
best
of
your
ability).
The
best
way
to
achieve
this
is
by
placing
the
toothbrush
so
that
it
is
perpendicular
to
your
teeth,
rather
than
in
line
with
them.
Do
10
strokes
(pushing
in
and
pulling
out,
rather
than
moving
the
toothbrush
from
side
to
side).
15.)
Repeat
steps
10
through
13
with
each
section
of
the
top
set
of
teeth
in
your
mouth.
[side
note:
step
13
will
always
be
the
most
difficult.
Just
try
your
best]
16.)
Repeat
steps
10
through
13
with
each
section
of
the
bottom
set
of
teeth
in
your
mouth,
with
one
change:
for
rule
number
10,
make
sure
the
bristles
are
facing
down,
so
that
they
are
pressing
into
the
bottom
row
of
teeth.
17.)
After
all
of
this
has
been
completedthat
is,
that
every
tooth
has
had
the
front,
bottom
and
back
brushedtake
the
toothbrush
and
gently
rub
your
gums
and
the
area
where
your
gums
connect
to
your
teeth,
with
the
toothbrush.
[side
note:
The
following
is
the
last
set
of
steps]
18.)
Clamp
teeth
together,
though
do
not
put
much
pressure
between
them,
and
open
your
mouth,
as
if
giving
a
VERY
big
toothy
smile.
19.)
Take
the
toothbrush
and
rub
the
bristles
in
a
circular
motion
that
covers
both
the
top
and
bottom
front
teeth.
Alternate
between
little
and
big
circles,
doing
about
5
of
each.
20.)
Repeat
step
19
for
all
sides
of
your
teeth,
keeping
your
teeth
clenched
and
brushing
both
the
top
and
bottom
rows
in
alternating
circles.
21.)
Remove
toothbrush
from
your
mouth
and
place
on
flat
surface.
If
you
have
a
towel
or
piece
of
paper
(something
that
you
dont
mind
getting
wet
or
getting
toothpaste
on),
place
the
toothbrush
on
that.
Close
your
mouth
immediately
after
removing
the
toothbrush,
so
that
nothing
drips
of
it.
22.)
Take
the
cup
filled
with
water,
and
sip
some
of
the
water
out
of
it
without
swallowing
it.
23.)
Swish
the
water
around
in
your
mouth,
about
5
times
or
until
your
teeth
feel
clean,
and
spit
it
back
into
the
cup.
24.)
If
your
teeth
feel
like
they
still
have
toothpaste
on
them,
you
can
repeat
step
23.
25.)
Place
toothbrush
in
cup
of
water.
26.)
Screw
the
cap
back
on
the
toothpaste.
