Tufts offers many interdisciplinary degrees across arts and sciences and
engineering, including programs in Urban and Environmental Policy and
Planning, as well as Cognitive Science, which bridges computer science,
psychology, and child development. Partnerships with Boston-based universities
and our other professional schools of medicine, nutrition, dentistry, and
veterinary medicine enhance our academic offerings beyond traditional
masters and doctoral degrees. Some of our signature areas of interdisciplinary
research include sustainability, human health, and technology interface.
We also offer teaching licensure in a variety of disciplines.
