Intercede for the Muslim World!

And to him [Jesus] was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve
him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away (Dan. 7:14, ESV)..

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

NIGER: Just days before scheduled final exams, schools in a southern city in Niger were closed as fears of terrorism
grow. This includes the Assemblies of God school system, serving more than 1,300 students. A month ago, schools
were closed in a southeastern city near Lake Chad after deadly attacks there. Please pray for these children, for their
safety and that they might continue their schooling. Pray that students in the AG schools would take the gospel they
have heard to heart and look to Jesus as their Prince of Peace. May the Lord use this situation for His glory.
NORTHERN GHANA: A graduate oversees more than forty churches in a strongly Muslim area. These forty are
served by only eight pastors. He asks for prayer for the means to provide permanent facilities for those congregations
who are currently meeting under trees, and for motorbikes or a pickup truck to help the pastors travel to the churches.
Please pray that the Lord would raise up more qualified workers to minister in this area, and strengthen the hands of
these eight pastors.
TOGO: This coming week a team will be returning to the northern area where they evangelized during the month of
August under the auspices of an alumnus pastoring there. They will be visiting the new works and their pastors. The
new believers, who have spent the last several months in discipleship training, will be baptized in water. Please pray
for safe travels for the participants and that these new churches may be encouraged and strengthened. Pray they would
become strong witnesses in the various villages.

In the News
Intercede for our brothers and sisters in eastern Uganda, where attacks against Christians are increasing. Only about
12% of the population are Muslims, many of whom live in the east. Targets for attacks have been those Muslims who
have turned to Christ, relatives of these new believers, and Christians who have been sharing the gospel. In the latest
incident, on December 2, a member of a Pentecostal church was waylaid on a dark road and killed. A farmer and the
father of five children, he also was helping provide for ten children who had accepted Christ and been disowned by
their families. For more information, see http://bit.ly/1mau4Z6.

From Global Initiative*

Pray for ministries to homeless Muslim children in Bangladesh. The number of street children in this Muslim-majority
nation is estimated at more than 600,000. Three out of four scrounge for a living on the streets of Dhaka, the capital
city of 17+ million. Pray for the efforts of Assemblies of God churches as they help in various ways, through street
kids churches, tutoring, an orphanage, etc. Pray that children will respond to Jesus' love and grow in grace. May the
Lord use His people to provide stability for these young children and teens.

For Muslim Women**

Pray that workers in a sensitive country would have wisdom for ministry to a very radical group of Muslim women
whom God has put in their path.
