Conditioning Hair Cream

CD-0020(LA)

This conditioning hair cream leaves the hair soft and shiny. The combination of SilSense* Silicones provide wet combability and soft manageability
throughout the day. In this cold process formulation, Pemulen* TR-1 Polymer, Novemer* EC-1 Polymer and SilSense* DW-18 Silicone provide
viscosity and formulation stabilization.

Procedure:
1.

PART A: In a suitable vessel mix SilSense* DW-18 Silicone and mineral oil.

2.

Add Pemulen* TR-1 Polymeric Emulsifier and mix until dispersed.

3.

PART B: In a separate vessel mix the ingredients of PART B in the order listed.
Mix until uniform.

4.

Add PART B to PART A with agitation. Mix until uniform.

5.

Neutralize batch with Triethanolamine (99%) with mixing. Mix until uniform.

6.

Add the ingredients 8-11 to batch in order with mixing. Mix until uniform.

7.

Adjust pH to 4.8-5.4 with Citric Acid (50% solution). Mix until uniform.
