others is through the faithful payment of 100% of your conference apportionments for 2014. I pray that as you have
given in generosity, you have found joy in the giving.

our United Methodist Christian tradition,
history, present and future. Teaching time is from 6-7 p.m. in
Whittler Hall with small groups following from 7-7:30 p.m. Join
us to learn and grow in our own faith as we learn more about
the ways we focus our ministry, mission, worship and Christian
life as United Methodists. Email Rev. Molly at molly@moumc.org
or Rev. Amy at amy@moumc.org with any questions. We hope
you will join this exciting adult study!
Jan. 22, 2015 - Vol. 28, No. 3

Please know that the gifts you offer through your conference apportionments are faithfully used to lead congregations to lead people to actively follow Jesus Christ; thats
our mission together. So together we train pastors and
start new churches. Together we provide opportunities for
youth and college students to come to know Jesus Christ,
sometimes in camps, sometimes on campuses, sometimes
at WOW, and sometimes in our local churches. Together
we reach out in service in Haiti and Mozambique and in
places of every disaster of every kind. Together we work
to keep our sanctuaries safe, and we invite people to find
their ways of serving God. Together we provide a great witness of grace and justice and hope.
For your faithfulness and generosity, again I say thanks.
Giving, not getting, is the way.
Blessings, Lynn Dyke, District Superintendent
