Aidea Design Foundation

Aidea Philippines Inc. formed the Aidea Foundation to provide scholarship for deserving Architecture
and Interior Design students. This is our way of sharing our blessings as the firm continues to be
blessed with many opportunities. It's also our way of ensuring that there will be a new generation of
professional designers who will continue to come up with world class work.
The Aidea foundation also intends to fund research projects that are in line with architectural
innovation and growth.
Scholarship Program for 2012 was launched in support of the objectives of the foundation. This is an
exciting opportunity for motivated students whose career aspirations include working for an
architectural design company.

Benefits
Successful recipients will be awarded with 100% coverage of their tuition and miscellaneous fees, a
monthly allowance, plus a chance to attend supplemental formation, training and workshops
sponsored by Aidea Philippines, Inc.

Qualifications of Applicants
The Aidea Design Foundation Scholarship application is open to all students who will pass the
following criteria:
1. Incoming Junior or Third Year students of Architecture and Interior Design enrolled in any
government recognized colleges or universities in the Philippines.
2. With a cumulative first and second year grade point average of not lower than 85% or 1.75 or
its equivalent without failing grade in any subject.
3. With total annual household income not exceeding Php 500,000.
4. A Filipino citizen.
5. Not concurrently recipient of any major scholarship or financial aid (e.g. pre-need educational
plans, DOST or other academic-related scholarship etc.).

Mechanics and Selection Process

1. Applicant must accomplish the Aidea Design Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Application Form.
The form is available:
a. From their respective colleges and universities

2. Submit the accomplished form either thru:

3. A panel from Aidea Philippines Inc. will evaluate the applicants based on the information
provided in the form. Pre-qualified applicants shall be interviewed by the Board of Trustees
and will be required to submit the following documents:
a. Transcript of Records or True Copy of Grades (TCG) for the first year and second
year from the College Secretary or University Registrar or its equivalent office. Please
indicate in the Transcript of Records, the grade point average.
b. Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate.
c. Latest Income Tax Return of parents or Certificate of Tax Exemptions.
d. Recommendation Letter and Certificate of Good Moral Character from College
Secretary or its equivalent office.
e. Certification of Awards received in the previous two years if applicable.
4. Aidea Design Foundation will pre-screen the applicants and scholars will be selected based
on the following:
a. Paper evaluation of application form and credentials, (and)
b. Interview
5. Successful scholarship recipients will be notified by the Foundation before May 31, 2011.

Maintenance Requirements
To retain the scholarship, the following conditions must be met every semester:
1. Semestral grade point average not lower than 85% or 1.75 every quarter or its equivalent,
with no failing grades.
2. Must not drop any subject nor cancel enrollment for the period during which they enjoy the
scholarship without prior approval of Aidea Design Foundation, Inc.
3. Must not change or shift course major.
4. Must carry the full semestral load as prescribed by the respective scholars department or
program adviser.
5. Must generally not enjoy major financial assistance, grant or scholarship, from other external
sources.
