INSTALLATION
Electrical
This unit mist be connected to 240 VAC 50Hz as indicated on the rating label at the rear of the machine

Installation
1. The machine must be installed on a solid, relatively flat surface, then levelled and stabilized to minimize vibration.
2. Remove the machine from the carton.
Carefully lay the machine on a protective mat with the front side down. Screw the 2-adjustable feet, supplied
with your machine into the front holes marked A (see Fig. l-l).
Screw the two fixed feet securely into the rear holes marked B using the accessory spaner (see Fig. l-1 ).
Stand the machine upright, carefully position the machine in the selected area of your choice and adjust the height
of the front adjustable feet to level and stabilize your machine. (see Fig. l-2).

Caution
Do not install the adjustable foot at the corner where the pump motor is mounted(adjacent to the drain hose outlet).
The thread section of the adjustable foot could touch the fan of the pump motor and could lead to failure of the
washing machine.

DISASSEMBLING PROCEDURES
CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE ANY SERVICE.

CAUTIONS FOR SERVICING

General
1. Always disconnect the AC cord from the supply
before service.
2. Only use approved crimps and crimping tools when
splicing and terminating wires.
3. When refitting wires with spade connectors, ensure
that the connectors are pushed firmly all the way.
4. Ensure that the wiring loom and loose wires are returned to their original position. Pay particular attention to rubbing on removing parts.
5. If wires are fixed to metal parts, ensure that the wire
is insulated with a suitable meterial.

Wrap with alminum foil

IMQ R e s i s t o r

Fig. D-l
2. If your unable to ground your body to remove static
charge, remove the power cord from the source and
touch the Earth Terminal of the 3-pin plug. This
will ensure that the potential difference between
you and the machine is zero (Fig. D-2).

CAUTION WHEN HANDLING ELECTRONIC

PARTS
CAUTION:
Do not handle the PWB when power is applied, some
components on the PWB are at 240 VAC potential.
The components on the PWB are susceptible to excessive vibration, shock temperatute and humidity.
Handle the PWB with care.
Components on the PWB such as the micro computer
can be damage by static electricity. Before handling
the PWB, observe the following safety precautions to
reduce damage by static charge.
1. Ground your body via an earthing strap. A resistor
of 10 Meg Ohm between the body and ground will
suffice (Fig. D-l).

TOP FASCIA REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear cover by removing the five (5)
special screws Ref. Fig. G-l and G-2.
2. Free the main wiring harness by cutting the three
(3) plastic cable ties Ref. Fig. G-3.
3. Remove the pressure pipe fitted to the tub. Ref. Fig.
G - 3 .

4. Remove the four (4) screws around the Top Fascia.

Note that the side screws are nickle plated and the
rear screws are zinc plated.
5. Lift the Top Fascia taking care not to over stress the
wiring harness or damage the lid switch. The Top
Fascia can be inverted and placed on a suitable
protective pad on the top of the machine to gain
access to the components. Ref. Fig. G-4.

pull and twist the hose at the same time. Ref.
Fig. P-4.

Fig. P-4
Note: The Flexible Hose is glued to the supply
valve. Apply a silicone sealer when refitting the new valve to the hose.
3. MAIN FUSE
The Main Fuse is located in a quick release protective capsule at the top of the main loom.
Only replace the main fuse with the correct part.
The fuse is a 5 Amp Slow Blow Type.

SERVICING OF THE DRAINING SYSTEM

This unit is equipped with a drain pump system to pump out used water out during operation. The draining system
consists of a Coin Trap, Connecting Pipe, Inner Drain Hose, Pump Motor, and Drain Hose (Fig. L-l).
Since the system is not equipped with a valve, it is important that the Drain Hose is hanged at a correct height of
between 0.8 to 1.2 meteres from the pump level. This ensures that the pump motor operates efficiently.
