Rain Transformer was developed to fulfil customers need to make


alternatives for their water usage. Rain Transformer can be used at any
surfaces that are able to flow rain water into drainage. Rain Transformer is
easy to use in which a system is only required to filter and delegate water
into where it is needed. Rain Transformer is available in simple or complex
version that is the simple will only filter the debris whereas the complex
version filters all until the water is drinkable.
The reason for selling this product is all about saving water. When
we save water, it contributes to everything about saving. Then can save
money from water bills. Ecosystems are also being helped by the global
warming. Recycling awareness also is being adopted in their lifestyles thus
it can help make a person to be greener and economical. When there is a
water shortage there is at least a cover in terms of water that will help
when there is water shortage.
3.1 Product Mechanisms
The product is a product that is based on a water vents, tank, filter
and water distribution. It is a stage process. Firstly rain will be
flowed by using the water vents. Then it will go through a set filter
to ensure that it is clean and useable. After the water have been
cleaned it will be stored into a tank storage.it will they be distributed
by pipes to the designated area the water will be forced to a great
pressure by using pump that will give a better water flow. Below is

3.2.1 Current Development
As for now our product, rain transformer is already in the
prototype stage and performing well from all the tested we made so
far. As for now there is few things improvement that has been
suggested to increase the efficiency of the product.

product, because when customer request to use new technology we
can upgrade the product, because the product itself is based on
customer demand.

5. Marketing/Sales Strategy
5.1 Marketing Strategy
Marketing is communicating the value of a product, service or brand
to customer, for the purpose of promoting or selling that product,
service, or brand. Marketing techniques include choosing target
markets through market analysis and market segmentation, as well
as understanding consumer behavior and advertising a product's
value to the customer. From a societal point of view, marketing is
the link between a society's material requirements and its economic
patterns of response. Marketing satisfies these needs and wants
through exchange processes and building long-term relationships.
Peoples that feel they need to save in terms of money and
water are most likely the population to be interested on the product.
The business is product wise where we install them at their places.
The population in Malaysia is estimated to be 28 million. We target
populations that are most likely to be at the most raining places.
About 1% of populations are targeted that is 280000 targets.
Next is by market segmentation. Market segmentation is a
marketing strategy that involves dividing a broad target market into

strategies to target them. Greentech Enterprise divided our market

5.3 Sales Strategy


As a manufacturer, we have a line of distribution channel that is well
organised and well managed. It starts from us the manufacturer
then to the wholesalers that will get the most basic price. From then
on the price will increase and increase accordingly in respect to the
base percentage so that there wont be a mispricing advantage. The
transport, ordering, duration and warranty are properly planned.
After the item reaches wholesaler, it will move on to the retailer then

GREENTECH Project Roadmap

Discovery Phase
Discovery is a crucial phase when the project team identifies the
problem statement. In this phase, the functionality, overall scope, and
the steps where features will be individually developed, tested, and
deployed are discussed and agreed upon. This phase is generally
comprised of the following set of activities:
Scope
The project team conduct initial, high-level meetings to understand the
project objectives, technical constraints, and timeframes, and to form a

The project kick-off meeting is the primary orientation activity where


the project discusses project roles and responsibilities, and additional
technical partner be identified. Outputs include a Project Plan and

Requirements Definition

Requirements-gathering initiates during scoping and becomes more


detailed with the project team members who will be working on the
solution during requirements definition. The project team needs derives
functional and technical requirements to design, build, test the product.
Design Phase
During the Design phase, the project team builds on the requirements
gathered in the Discovery phase by analysing the requirements and
designing the solution. Depending on the solution, the team create
detailed designs product processes. These designs are internally
reviewed for quality and completeness, and any changes to the
requirements or assumptions made during Discovery are incorporated.

Construction may entail development of product. Construction begins


with the completion of key Design deliverables with the project
emphasis focused on producing the desired solution within the time,
cost, and system parameters that were defined during Discovery. This
phase is normally conducted in conjunction with the technical staff to
ensure consensus is achieved on the various project deliverables.

Testing

Testing activities ensure the solution meets the specifications. The


project team members will test a solution at various stages of
development. Testing include a high-level test and records the results.
The engineers use the results to make any necessary corrections.

Research and Development


For the features R&D section will keep exploring on the development of
our product by come up with new design and innovation. For now our
first version of our product we use Freesea CN-200 three phase high
pressure water pump. This pump powered by electric power source
gives force to make better water flow from water tank.

Our R&D sections also researching on solar power to generate


electricity of water pump that specially designed to utilize DC electric
power from photovoltaic panels. They must work during low light
conditions at reduced power, without stalling or overheating. Solar
water pumps have one significant advantage over other types of
pumps, they do not require the presence of an electric line in order to
operate. This makes them extremely useful in rural locations such as
ranches and farms, or in the developing world where electricity is often
not available. Solar pumps are friendlier to the environment and
cheaper to operate than conventional AC pumps. Another advantage of
solar water pumps is that they are not dependent upon the grid for
electricity. That means you can pump water even when the electricity
goes out! For those homeowners who rely on well water this can be a
big advantage.

The operation flow of product manufacturing

Raw parts Section: From raw parts that we received we distribute them
to the department for quality checking.
Quality check Section: Items that we receive will be checked thoroughly
so that we can check for defects to ensure we will not have problems in
the future.
Engravements Section: We engrave all the parts that we had checked
and assured them with our warranty. From there we sent them for
assembly.
Assembly Section: Here on we assemble all the additional parts that are
needed for assembly on site.
Packaging Section: All the parts that had undergone process will be
packaged and tagged ready for shipment.
