TeacherCandidateBackgroundExperiences

Introduction
Mybackgroundexperienceswillassistingettingtoknowmebetterasithasbroughtme
to where I am today. I am a first generation Canadian, who comes from a middle class
hardworkingfamily,thathasalwaysvaluededucationandhasaneducatedandwellofffamily
backhome.Unfortunately,duetoconversionsandestablishingthemselvesinCanadatheyhadto
leavetheireducationalstatusandfallintothelabormarketwheretheyworkedhardtoprovide
forus,andmakesurewehaveagoodfutureandlifeforourselves.Thissectionwillincludethe
followingcomponentsmyeducationalbackground,workexperiences,philosophyofeducation,
school observations, and classroom applications. Additionally, I will provide essential
informationonmypersonaldevelopmentpriortobecomingateacherinwhichyouwillbeable
toviewmyknowledgeandexperiences,abilitiesandenthusiasmforteachingthatIhavebeen
developingoverthepastyears.
EducationalExperiences:
MyveryfirstdayofKindergartenIdidnotcry,becauseIwasveryeagertobethereand
camefromplayingwithtoysandplayingpretendteacherbyliningupmytoys.Iquicklygot
alongwitheveryone,andwouldplaywiththeboysmoreasIwastheonlygirlinthefamilywith
twoelderbrothersbutwouldalsoplaywiththegirlstooandintroducethesocalledboytoysto
themandgettheminvolved.ThroughoutmylifeIhavealwaysbeentoldthatIwouldmakea

spectacularteacher,butIneverletitcreateabigego,Iamhumbleandletmyactionsspeak
louder. Ialwaysknewitwouldtakealotoflearningtobecomeaspectacularteacheranda
wholelotofwork,forwhichIhavefoundIlove.
Myelementaryteacherswereverypassionateandtheyhadignitedmycreativity,fun,
caring,andlovingselftobeexpressedandalsotaughtmegreatorganizationalskillswhichIsee
prevalentinmyselftoday.Ialwaystakeanextrasteptomakesureothersfeelwelcomedand
dontjudge,whichIfeelisanimpactfrommySuburbanElementarySchoolwheretheyhad
instilledinusasenseofcommunity,respectforall,honesty,responsibilityandtogetherness.
GrowingupIrealizedIlikedmorehandsonprojects,presentations(althoughIwouldbenervous
atfirst,Ienjoyedit),alsorealizedItendedtothinkoutsidetheboxandwasgreatatanalyzing
andobservingothers.
During my HighSchool years I took a wide range of courses from biology, family
studies,interiordesign,sociology,marketing,academicmathematics toautoclass andmany
others which exposed me to various teachers with different teaching styles and a range of
knowledgewhereIfinditeasytoconnectwithpeoplethathavechosendifferentpostsecondary
fields to study in. The teachers in HighSchool were fabulous, they had tons of years of
experienceandwereexperts,andprofessionalwhiletrulycaringabouthavinguslearninvarious
ways, using technology, having us expand our knowledge, working together, working on
projects,andindependentstudiesandreallypushingustoexcel.Thepositivitytheyshedontous
reallycarriedout,andmadememoregravitatedtowardsteachingwhereIhaddecidedthatis
whatIwilldo.

IwenttoUniversityforaBachelorofArtsinSociologyandtookvariouselectivesasI
knewIwouldneeditforteacherscollege,andforwhenIwouldbeateacher,andithelped.
Sociologyisanewwayofthinking,andfairlyanewdisciplineamongsocialstudiesandhas
givenmegreatknowledge,andunderstandingofsociety,andfromtimetotimegivesmeagreat
kickinobservingpeople,andlastlyithelpsmemakeunbiasdecisions,andbefair.Themost
influentialteachersthathavemademewanttobeateacher,andbelikethemifnotbetterhave
been from my Elementary years. All my teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 5 were
phenomenal; they cared, found creative ways of us teaching us with new technology of
computerscomingintoschools,andwereveryinnovative.
Duringrecess theywouldinteractwithus,helpusdesignoutdoorgames,neverhad
anyoneleftout,supportedus,andmadetheexceptionalchildrenfeelgreattooandeducatedus,
madeusfeelthateducationwasagreatprivilegethatwehave,hadextracurricularclubswe
couldjoinsuchasgreenclub,yogaclub,readingclub,grade6sgottobeassignedspecialhelper
dutiesandlastlywefeltthatwecanbecomeanythingwewantedtobeandhaveanimpacton
ourworld.Itwasagreatchildhoodexperience,andIknewfromthenthatallIwantedtobewas
aschoolteacherjustlikemyteachers.ThisbecamemoreapparenttomeinGrade6whenIhad
tochangeElementaryschools,andrealizedhowgreatmyoldschoolreallywasandgottosee
andcomparetheschoolteachers.Alongmyeducationalexperiencesmyparentshavealways
encouraged me towards becoming a school teacher. Due to my positive experiences from
ElementarytoGraduateeducationithasbeenanamazingjourneyfullofknowledgeandideas
thatIcanbringwithmetoallthewonderfulclassroomsIwillbesharingwithstudents.
WorkExperiences:

MyworkexperiencesvaryandareverydiverseasIfeltthemoreexperiencesIgotfrom
variousplacessuchasbankinstitutions,warehouses,customerservicesrelatedjobs,retail,crafts,
marketingwouldhelpmegainadeeperunderstandingofhowsocietyoperatesandlessenedmy
curiosity.Also,Iknewmydreamjobwouldbebeingateacherandthatwouldnthappentill
afterteacherscollegeandbeingcertifiedtoteach.SoItooktheopportunitytoworkatvarious
placessoIwouldbeabletounderstandfutureparentsandtheirworkschedulesandaffects.
Besidesmyvariousworkexperiences,Ididvolunteerthroughouthighschoolanduniversityand
thenpartiallyafterwardsinteachingtraditionalPunjabidancetogirlsfromage4andup.In
HighschoolIwouldgoeverySaturdayandSundaymorningat9a.m.openthedoorsandteach
anhourclassfordanceonavolunteerbasiswithnopay.
ManyparentscameuptomeandtoldmethatIwouldmakeasuperbteacher,andthatI
shouldreallymoveforwardtowardsandbecomeitquickandteachattheirchildsschool.The
childrenwerenaturallygravitatedtowardsme,andwouldpayattentionandtheshyoneswould
openupandgrewalotwhileIwouldteachthem.ThedaysIwouldbesickIhadoneofmy
professionaldanceteammemberfillinformeandshewouldexpressthatshecouldntteachthe
younger children andthat they all missed me. This experience really helped me realize the
planning,organization,andeffortsthatwenttoteachingalessonofdance.
PunjabiculturalnamedGidhadanceinvolvesknowledgeofthePunjabilanguage,and
singingtraditionalversus,anddancingwhileactingoutwhattheversusaresayingwithfacial
expressionsthereforewiththechildrenIhadtodolanguagetranslationsandsingversebyverse
sometimeswordbyworduntiltheywereabletoimitatemeanddoitthemselves.Alongwiththe
dancewetaughtthehistoryandcultureofPunjab.Teachingdancegavemealittleinsightinto

teaching.Ilearntfromothervolunteerexperiencesworkingwithchildrenatourhighschools
day care center, and alsoafterschool clubs which helped support families that needed extra
supportrequiringtutoringtheirchildren,IalsowalkedhomemyneighborsdaughterwhoIhave
hadgreatconversationswithandwhoIhaveinfluencedtobecomeateachertoo.Mypaidwork
experiencesofferedmetodevelopgreatpatience,howtoapproachothers,andworkethicsto
worklonghours,andhowtobeflexiblewithworkandvastknowledgeindifferentfields.

SchoolObservations&ClassroomApplications

Iobservedagradeoneclasslocatedinthesuburban,itwasapublicschool,andithasa
diverseschool,withEnglishLanguageLearners,alsoincludesstudentswithdisabilities.This
observationwasduringWinter&Springof2015.Iobservedafewreallygoodpractices.Toget
theclassroomtostopandlistentotheteacherMrs.TeacherwouldsayHandsontopPAUSES
andthestudentswouldsaythatmeansstop,andthatworkedlikeacharmiftheyweretooloud
shewouldusedifferentpatternsofclappingandthensaythehandsontopphraseafterwards.I
foundittoworkverywell,andlikeditfortheprimarygrades.Anothergreatpracticeisinthe
morningshewouldgetthemtositonthecarpetandhadadifferentstudenteachdaytoworkon
thecalendarwhichincludeschangingthedate,puttingmanipulativestorepresenthowmany
daysleftofschool,andalsodescribetheweather,whileshewouldgoaroundandlookatallthe
studentsagendasandlookforsignatures.

Lastly,forcenterstheteacherhadasurprisecenter,whereshewouldhaveanactivity
whichrelatedtooneofthesubjectsandcurriculumwhichwasgreatandappealedtoallthe
students.Forexampleinsciencetheywerelearningstructures,sooneweekthesurprisecenter
wasmakingstructuresonpaperusingconstructionpaper,glue,markersandsoforthandshehad
booksofstructuresforthemtolookthroughandalsohadasampleofonethatshemadeandthat
thestudentscanlookatthemselvesanddecidewhattheywouldliketomakeindependently.This
keptthestudentsexcitedforeachweek,andeagertovisitthesurprisecenter,whileshewasable
tofocusonguidedreading.Shealsohadaparentstudentconnectionbyhavingparentvolunteers
comeandhelpstudentslearnwordfamiliesasoneofthecenterareas.
Generallythegradeonestudentswouldlistentotheteacher,butwereeasilydistracted
butdidnothavebehavioralproblems.Theywouldalwaysbeexcitedtoworkonbrandnew
items whetheritbenewmathlesson,oractivityorartwork,andafewwereverycurious
individuals.Theyarefullofenergysooutdoorbreaksareessentialtohelpthemconcentrateand
alsotheebreakswhichtheschoolhasforthemtoeattheirsnackshelpsbecausetheygethungry
quickasnotedtheycamefromkindergarten,intogradeone.Theydontliketositattheirdesk
toolong,sotheytendtositonthecarpetandwonderattimesoncetheyaredonetheirwork.The
teacher with her 20 years of experience provided me with great knowledge on classroom
managementasshewouldhaveeverythingorganizedinadvance;therewasneveranytime
whereshewastryingtofigureoutwhattodonext.Havingdailyplanwrittenonthechalkboard
helpedthechildrenknowwhatisnextandthewayshewouldgettheattentionofthechildrenas
explainedabovewasgreat,andhowshewouldalwaysremindthemhowattheirschoolthey

respectothers,areresponsible,honest,caringandcooperativestudents.Thesetraitsareapartof
theboardspositivebehaviorprogram.
IrememberfromwhenIwasinelementaryschoolthatallofthelearningcenterstargeted
differentlearnerswhichrelatestoHowardGardners multipleintelligencetheory,andalsoshe
didnthavethemputintoteamsbycolorsortellingthemthattheyarethesmartonesortheones
thatneedmorehelp,theygottochoosetheirteamnamesosomechoseMINECRAFTERSand
othercreativenameswhichIfindwasgreatbecauseitwouldntcreateabiasorhavethechildren
feelbadfortheirreadinglevel.Iwoulddefinitelytakewithmealotofinformationfromthis
classroomasIhavedevelopedalikingfortheprimarygradesversusthejuniors.Ireallylike
howtheylistenandhowtheyareverycurioustolearnmore.Thiswasmyveryfirstvolunteering
placementandwasagreatstarttolearningaffectiveteachingstyles.

Iobservedagradefourclassatapublicschoolinasuburbanarea,anditisadiverse
school, with English Language Learners, also includes students with disabilities, and this
classroomhadtwostudentsonIEP.Thisobservationwasduringspringof2015.Contrarytothe
gradeonestudents,thegradefourstudentshadalotmorecharacter,likedtotalkoutandmake
sillyjokes,andseemtobematuringandbecomingindependentyetstillareaffectedbywhat
theythinkothersthinkofthem.ThebestpracticeIlearntfromthisclassishavingaunique
rewardprogramtokeepthechildrenengaged.Theteachercreatedhisownsuperpowerrewards
points,whichintheendofthemonthhecreatesquestionsineachsubjectandthestudentsverse
eachotherandusetheirpointsforpowersoftheirchoicesuchaspsychicpower(helpfrom
anotherstudent),slidepower(whichtakesawayasubjecttheydontlike),andsoforth. The

teacherwouldrewardpointsthroughoutthemonthforputtingawaythechairsanditemsfrom
thedesk,forfindingoutthemeaningtoawordchallengeandthestudentswouldhavetobringin
proofofresearchthattheydidtofindoutthemeaning,forexample,thehistoryacronymA.D.
andhadtofindoutthemeaningofitmostofthemthoughtafterdeath,alsopointsaregivenout
astheteachertaughtandwherehefoundthatthestudentsneededtobemoreengagedwiththeir
work.ThisIfeltwasagreatalternativetosupercashwheretheyaccumulateandbuythings.
Anothergreatpracticewasthattheteacherpreferredthechildrenlearninghandsonand
byexploringandhavingdiscussionsandworksheetsandalsochoosestotesttheirknowledgeto
variousothermeansversustraditionaltests,whichIfindisagreatstyleofteachingandclosely
resembles Constructivism. Constructivism where students must construct knowledge for
themselvesandareabletoconnecttheirnewknowledgetopriorknowledgethattheyhaveinthe
backoftheirmindsLoucksHorsley(1998).AsateacherIwouldfinditusefulandengagingto
have students usevarious modes to findouttheanswer,ortobethemselves indeveloping
solutionstoproblems,essentiallyconstructingtheirknowledgeinawaythattheyareableto
learn. Therefore I will remember during planning to have different modes available when
applicable.

BeingabletomakeobservationsinclassroomshelpedmedevelopteachingstylesthatI
wouldapplyinafutureclassroom,suchasclassroommanagementtricksandstylesthatareused
atdifferentgradelevels,alsoIwasabletogetasenseofthedevelopmentstagesthatchildrenare
inatdifferentgradelevelsandhowthatcanaffecthowoneteaches.Lastly,observinghelpsme
bereflectiveandprepareforfutureteaching.Asateacheritisgreattooltoborrowbestpractices

fromothersandchangeittosuityourownpersonality,andstylesomyintentionsareofsuch.
ThroughobservingIhaverealizedhowimportantitistohavestudentsinteractwitheachother,
andhowimportantitistohaveaclassbasedinstructionversusteacherbased.Knowingthe
studentslikes,dislikesandwhattheyareinterestedinhelpsateacherdevelopinstructionwhich
ismoreengagingwhileshowingthemthatyoucareforthem.

PhilosophyofEducation
Theloveofwisdommeaningeducationphilosophygivesadetailedinsightintoones
thoughts, dreams, and aspiring teaching style where one can envision a complete teacher.
Educationshistoryspansformanycenturiesmuchbeforehumankindhadcreatedwrittenand
spokenlanguage,butitwasnotavailabletoeveryoneuntilrecenttimesandisstillnotavailable
toall.Itisimportanttolearnfromthepastandnotmakesimilarmistakesinthepresentwhich
cannegativelyaffectourfuture.
Knowledgeisaprivilegethatmanywishtheycouldhave,andtohaveitaccessibleand
availabletoeveryoneinNorthAmericamakesmeveryproudtobeafutureteacherknowingmy
classroomswillbeenrichedwithchildrenfromalldifferentwalksoflifeforwhoIcaninstill
creativity, empowerment, and knowledge into and create understanding. I love wisdom,
knowledge,andeducationasawholeandtobegivenachancetoshareitisempoweringbecause
Iwillbepositivelyhelpingsocietypersonbypersoninhopesofmakingourworldabetterplace.
Childrenspendmoreactivetimeatschoolthanathome,andthereforetheroleoftheschoolis
crucial.

TheSchool
Thegoalsandobjectivesofaschoolshouldbetomakechildrengoodcitizens,andto
aspireintelligenceandaspirationofbecominggreatleaders.Theschoolshouldalsobeableto
adapttochangesinsocietyandupgrade/updateresourcesavailableforthechildrentoexceedin
society.
TheCurriculum
Thecurriculuminaschoolneedstobediverseenoughtosparkinterestinallstudentsbut
have an emphasis on core subjects. Without core subjects there are no other subjects. To
establishEnglish,MathandScienceearlyonhelpsstudentsunderstandgreaterknowledgelater
inlife,andopensgreateropportunitiesinthefuture.Oncetheyhavelearntthecorebasicsusing
various methods withmultimedia, fieldtrips,reallife experiences andinclass workchildren
needtoexploreothersubjectssuchasdrama,art,socialsciences,historytomakethemwell
balancedindividualswheretheycanhavegreatconversations,communicationsskills,andalso
beknowledgeableenoughtobegreatfutureleaders,andastheoristLevVygotskywouldsay
theywouldbetheKnowledgeableOtherthatsomeonewouldgotoforassistanceorhelp.
For the curriculum I would choose would be geared more towards the Perennialism
wherehighacademicstandardsareestablishedandwhereweproduceintelligentindividuals,but
I also would incorporate Behavoralism where I would make sure the classroom feels
comfortable,safe,acceptingasinBehavorlismitisnotedthatwhatyouseeinaclassroom
shapeshowyoufeel,andwhatyoubecome.IwouldalsoincludePragmatismviewofbeingopen
ended,problemsolvingthatthereisnouniversaltruthtoencouragechildrentofindthetruth,

withmathIwouldaskthemtotrytofigureouthowtogettheanswerandthenteachthemthe
wayoffiguringitoutindifferentways.Makesuretheyareusingdifferentpartsoftheirbrain.
Lastly,IwouldincorporatePostModernismsculturallydiverse,inclusive,andempowermentto
studentswheretheycanvoicetheiropinionsbeapartoftheclassroomhelpmaketherules,and
beproactiveparticipants.
MyviewonthecurriculumwouldbeamixtureofIdealismwithProgressivismwhereas
IwouldkeepthecoresubjectsandpaygreaterattentiontothemasIknowitwillgreatlyhelpmy
studentsintherealisticworld,andIwouldwantthemtoalsoknowthattheyshouldfollowtheir
heartsinwhattheylikeandhaveaninterestforandwouldwanttolengthenchildhood,and
incorporateprojects,andpushforcreativity.Ideallyassessmentsshouldneverbestandardized
tests, knowledge should be tested practically, from projects, presentations, daily homework,
assignments,ormanyother.Itisastrugglewithadministrationwithstandardizedtestingas
parentslovetoseeresults,andourcultureissoresultdriventhatweforgetwearehumansand
thatknowledgecanbetestedusingotheracademicmethodsotherthanstandardizedtesting.
Learning
Aclassroomenvironmentneedstobeinclusiveofallchildrenregardlessofethnicity,
social class, cultural background, special needs, or anything and this thinking derives from
critical pedagogy where I studied Michael Apples work. Foremost technology is highly
importantaswearepreparingtodaysstudentsforjobsthatarenotcreatedyet.Toincorporate
technologyversustraditionalstyleofteachingishighlyimportanttogivestudentsopportunities
andknowledgeforusingvarioustechnologysuchassmartboard,websitesformakingposters,

doingresearchandparticipatinginonlineblogs,documentmaking,quizzes,workingonprojects
wheretheywoulddevelopmenthighlysoughtafterskillsbyfutureemployees.
Methodsofinstructionusedwouldbethroughmultimedia,studentdriven,useofvarious
instructionalmethodsfromprojectstodiscussions,andcutinfrontoftheclasslecturingasit
doesnotappealtoelementarystudents.Ifeellearningoccurswhenstudentsfeelaconnectionto
asubjectandknowhowtheycanbenefitfromit,ifIsimplylectureonatopicandaskthemtodo
a test it is regurgitating information, whereas true knowledge is learning, and attaining that
knowledgeforever.Todeveloptrueknowledgeinstudentsoneneedstoknowtheirstudents
likesanddislikes,bringinagebasedactivities,teachcrosscurricularinformationwherefor
exampleyoucanlearnaboutbutterfliesinsocialstudentsandlearnfurthermoreinscience,and
writeaboutitinEnglishclass,andmeasureinmathclass.Bestpracticeforlearningistolove
knowledge,onceateacherhasbroughtforwardknowledgethatinterestschildrentheywilllove
it,andgaintremendousknowledgethattheywillcarrywiththemforlife.

TheLearner
Earlierinsocietythelearnerwasnoteveryoneitwasonlyformales,ofhighersocial
status/class.Nowadaysthelearneriseveryone,theyarenottotalblankslatesandnordoesthe
environmenttheygrowupindeterminetheirworthandknowledge.Therefore,itisateachers
jobtolearnaboutthelearnersinterests,dislikes,whatmethodsworkanddont,andmakesure
thecurriculumisbeingcoveredsothatthestudentreachesdevelopmentalstagesestablishedby
thescholarlydistrictboards.Theroleofchildreninaclassroomistoengageactivelyinlearning
information,andtoalsosemileadthewaytheclasswilllearnandwhattheywilllearnandto
makethechildrenfeelsomewhatincharge,buthaveguidancefromtheteachertomakesure
everyoneisonthesamepageandthattheyarenotslackingoff.
Assessment
Thepurposeofassessmentistoknowwherethechildrenstand,andforateachertoknow
ifatopicshouldberetaughtorifmoreemphasisneedstobegivenonaparticularlesson.Ithelps
theteachermoresothanstudents.Assessmenthelpsteachersunderstandiftheyaredoingthe
rightthing,andchoosingthecorrectmethodstoconveyeducationtostudents.Methodstobe
used can be formal assessment, classroom participation, checking agendas daily to see if
homeworkwasdone,settingupanawardsystem,quizzes,projectsandsoforthfromeverything.
Actionresearchmustbedonetokeepuptodatewithassessments,anditisessentialinthe
teachingprofessiontomoveforwardandevaluatechildren.
ClassroomManagement

Classroommanagementisamassivetopic;itisoneareathatfirsttimeteachersstruggle
toestablish.Itisimportanttohavevariousmethodsofclassroommanagementaswhatworksfor
oneclassroommaynotforanother,incorporatingasortofrewardsprogramisgreat,alsonever
yellorgetangryalwaysstayingcalmhelpskeepateacherintactandthestudents.Nevereverbe
astudentsbestfriend,alwayshaveanauthoritativefigureimagebutbeapproachabletohelp
andtotalktostudents.Organizationiskey;andtohaveascheduleontheboardforstudentsto
knowwhatiscomingupandwhattheywillbelearningkeepsthemengagedfromK6.
TheTeacher
Theroleofateacherissubstantialandhighlyinfluentialaschildrenspendmoreactive
timeatschoolversusathome.Theteacherisattimeschildrenshero,mentor,andinsomecases
the onlypersonachildgets totalk toandreceive carefor.It is importantforteachers to
maintaintheirauthoritativepositioninaclassroomforstudentstoknowthattheyarewhomake
thefinaldecision,andtorespecttheteacherandalsoforateachertoreciprocatetherespect
towardschildren,andmakethemfeelsafe,andfreetotalktothemwhentheywantorneedto.It
isimportanttohaveteacherswithvariousspecializedbackgroundsandtobewellroundedin
education because it makes all teachers different, and gives a diverse learning dynamic for
childreninelementaryschool,andeachschoolyearwouldnotberepetitiveandboringaseach
teacherwouldbeuniquebuthavetheknowledgeinallsubjectstobeabletoteach.
Teacherpersonalities spangreatlyinsocietydependingongeography,butIfeelthat
teachersneedtobeapproachable,consistofpositiveattitude,beabletopresent,andbeableto
relate to children and be crafty, sporty, organized, and calm lastly have loads of energy.
Professionallytheyneedtobewelleducated,organized,andassertiveandbeabletomakeun

bias decisions. It is important for teachers to work with their schools community have
parents/guardiansinvolvedintheirchildseducationasitbuildsstrongerchildren,andtobuilda
familylikerelationshipwhereeveryonefeelscomfortableandsafe,andloyalwheretheycan
learnmoreandatthesametimemakelastingmemories.
Inconclusion,Ifeeleducationisagreatprivilegeforallthatarewillingtoopentheir
mindsanditlaysthefoundationforfuturegenerationsinallaspectsoflifefromcommunicating
witheachothertobuildinglifeforthefuture,whilelearningofthepast.Tobecomeateacheris
notahardtask,allyouneedtodoissimplyattendclasses,regurgitateinformationandmemorize
informationandyoucanbecomeone,buttobecomemyidealTeacherandsustainthelifestyle
thatcomeswithitcanbeachallenge,todevoteyourtimeandlifeininspiringtheyouth,which
involvesloadsofplanning,whilehavingacreativemindtohelpfacilitatefuninformationand
makelearningexcitingforchildrentograsponto.Inwhichthegreatestrewardforbeingagreat
teacheristhatchildrenwouldrememberyouforalifetime.
Conclusion:

HowardGardners multipleintelligences,andlastlyIhopetohavechildrenunderstandingthe
knowledge and not just memorizing it for the time being or passing through pages of
assignmentsandreadingsjusttopassthegradebuttoapplytheirknowledgeindailylifeand
situations showing that they understand what they are learning which I learnt from
Constructivism.IalsohopetobeconcisewithmylessonplanninganduseBloomsTaxonomy
toformquestions,andplansthatbroadenandopenthemindsinawayofthinking,andcreatea
challengeforstudentstopassthroughmakingthemmoreintelligent.
