This ICD is located at Village Mahagaon, Tarapur- Boisar, which is 150
Kms away from the Nhava Sheva Terminals which takes around 4-5 Hrs
journey to reach at Port ensuring smooth transportation between ICD to Port.

Fully paved container yard of 12 acres for container stacking which can
handled up to 5000 TEUs per month with adequate warehousing space of
33000 Sq.ft for Import/Export, LCL/FCL warehousing as per requirement.

Adequate container/cargo handling equipment 02 nos. of Reach

Stackers, 03 nos. of 3 MT Forklifts, 01 no. of 5 MT & 01 no. of 10 MT
Forklift for efficient 24 X 7 operations. Additional equipment are

Export / Import Procedures :

We can provide you services for Export Shipments at our ICD Premise as below :

1. Export ICD Stuffing

1. You can cart your cargo at our ICD Warehouse
2. Prepare Check List / Shipping Bill for your Export Consignment at our EDI Service
station / CHA can prepare Online along with Invoice Packing List etc.

3. Examine Cargo from Custom at ICD Tarapur.

4. Get the DO from S/line
5. We will make available empty container from ICD empty depot or move the
empty container from Nominated Depot .

6. Stuffing of Cargo into the Container after Examination of Cargo.

7. We will move the container to the Port by Road / Rail to the port (JNPT/NSICT/GTI).
8. Also handover the S/Bill to the Shipping Line.
2. Export Factory Stuffing (Buffer)
1. You can Stuff container at Factory ( Self Sealed / Excise Sealed )
2. Prepare Check List / Shipping Bill for your Export Consignment at our EDI Service station
/ CHA can file online.

3. CHA handover the ready S/Bill & we will move the container by Rail / Road directly to
the Terminal.

We can provide you services for Import Shipments at our ICD Premise as below :
Imports for ICD Tarapur

1. Bill of Lading final destination should be ICD TARAPUR

2. If Bill of Lading final destination is not shown as ICD TARAPUR, even though we can ask
Shipping Lines to file an
IGM for ICD TARAPUR ( IGM Code : INBNG6)

3. After IGM filing & as vessel berth, SMTP will be passed by the Shipping Line from JNCH

Customs & on the basis of SMTP, we will move the container to ICD TARAPUR by Road/Rail.
4. After Custom Procedures ( BOE Filing, Custom Examination, Assessment, OOC ) we
will deliver the Cargo/ Containers to you.
5. In case of De-stuff delivery we will repo the container to the Empty depot at Nhava Sheva /
Tarapur empty depot.

1. Direct movement from the Port to ICD Tarapur will reduce the Logistic
Cost.
2. Time frame will reduce for clearing the cargo at ICD.
3. Avoiding Export shut outs will avoid unnecessary Buffer charges as
Rail movement is directly connect to the Port & also avoids Heavy
Traffic at JNPT.
4. Due to Thane No Entry for heavy vehicles in Day time, containers
( empty/loaded ) are moving in Nights only which in turn takes 48 Hrs
of total operational time. For Rail movement there is no such No Entry
which in turn reduce operational time & can avoid shut outs & saved
unnecessary cost.
5. Imports containers can REPO at Tarapur empty depot which can reduce
empty repo charges.
6. Reduces heavy Detention & Demurrages to the great extent.
7. Reduce Inventory Management as clearance is near to the point of
consumption / Production.
8. Bonded Warehouse facility will have the added advantage.
