MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Polymer Clay, your favorite brand


Ball Modeling Tool
Craft Knife
Tooth Pick
Needle
Sandpaper 180 grit (optional)
Acrylic varnish / Glaze
Brush
Oven

1. CENTER
Knead the green clay
between your fingers to
soften it and make one tiny
ball

2. Use the base of your


palm and roll the ball into a
teardrop

3. Take a small amount of


white clay and make about
1/8 inch ball

4. Flatten it

5. Put it on the larger


end of the green
teardrop

6. With a needle tool


make a little hole in the
center of the white part

7. Slightly widen the hole

8. Take your craft knife


and make tiny cuts
around the center

9. PETALS
Take a small amount of
white clay and make a
small ball (the same size
you made the green
one)

10. Roll the ball into a


teardrop

11. Slightly flatten it

12. Slightly thin the center


of the petal

13. It will look like this.


Repeat steps 9-12 and
make more two petals

14. Take the green center


of the flower and attach
first petal on it. Leave a
little green tail

15. Attach more two


petals

16. Take a needle tool and


make a hole. Do not run
trough straight, slowly roll
the needle out

17. Take a craft knife and


form the green part even

18. Put the flower into the


oven.
Be sure about the right
temperature of your oven.
The built-in thermometers
mostly do not show the
right temperature.
After curing let the flower
cool down completely!

BAKE FOR
30 min
or according the manufacturers
instructions

19. With a piece of


sandpaper sand out any
imperfection so the bead
is smooth.
Finish the bead with a
polymer clay friendly
glaze.
Let the bead dry for 24h
after finishing
Congratulations, youve done! Tiny Snowdrop Bead now is ready for
your creative projects.

USEFUL SUGGESTIONS
If you do not have a ball tool, you can make one yourself! Take a
bead (6cm or 8cm) and glue it on a toothpick
Make a Snowdrop bud attach all three petals and after slightly
pinch them together
The oven baking clay is used in this project, but air dry clay will
work too
