Act 1 Scene 1 : the new club member :


Kevin Scott is twelve and a half (et demi). He is from Glasgow but he lives in London.
He lives with his mother, his step-father and his two half-brothers. They are 5 years
old : they are twins (jumeaux). He has got a cat. He speaks English and a little
Spanish.
His father is a cook, he is 40. His mother is 36. They are divorced.

Can se place devant un verbe l'infinitif. La ngation s'crit : cannot ou can't. La
prononciation de can / can't est rduite gnralement. Pour demander le niveau on
utilise la question :

Kevin is sociable and good-tempered. He is lazy, agitated, impatient and noisy ! He is
very sporty : he can swim and ride a bike very well. He can rollerblade and play rugby
quite well. He can windsurf a little but he can't ice skate at all. He is not a good
linguist : he can't speak French or (ou) German and he can speak Spanish a little. He
can play the electric guitar. He can't sing but he can read music. He is not artistic :
he can't draw or paint but he can take good photos.
