Raw material shall meet the following standards:
4.2.1. Reinforcement
Concrete reinforcement shall be steel bars or welded wire fabric, or a combination.

Most of the readily available fencing of this type is described and sold in imperial units, which will be
used here for clarity.
The posts required should be 450-600mm (1'6" - 2'0") longer than the height required. So, for a 1.8m
(6') high fence, a 2.36m (7'9") post is required.
Set up a taut string line to guide the run of the fence and final alignment. Excavate the first post hole
approximately 300x300mm (12"x12") in plan and at least as deep as shown in the table above for the
size of post being installed. It's common practice to dig the post hole around 50mm (2") deeper than
the required minimum, to allow for a modest bed of concrete to be used to adjust the height of the
post and so aid final profiling.
Use a pencil or similar to mark where Ground Level (GL) would be on the post when it is at the correct
height. Place half a spade of concrete into hole (if required) and lower the post into the hole. Check
that the pencil mark tallies with required ground level, adjusting the post by twisting it into bedding
concrete or adding extra concrete bed, as required. Once the height is correct, align the post vertically
by checking on two perpendicular faces for plumb, and jam the post in place with a few half-bricks,
broken concrete flags or other hardcore, prior to concreting.
Use a dry mix concrete and sprinkle this in amongst the hardcore. Water it in with a can or a hose, and
use a long bar or stick to poke the wetted concrete down amongst the hardcore, filling all of the voids.
Add more dry mix and water in as required. The top of the concrete/hardcore should be kept a couple
of inches below ground level.
Once the post is in position, place a base panel into the slot and along the required run line to ascertain
distance and position of the next hole. Put the base panel to one side whilst the next hole is dug, then
re-position and level it prior to positioning the next post. Make sure the new post is positioned fairly
tight against the base panel, and check it for height and plumb before concreting-in as before and
moving on to the next section.
Leave off fitting the timber panels until all the posts are in and secure. It may be worth 'spragging' the
posts with temporary supporting timbers while the concrete hardens. In windy conditions, it's best to
allow concrete to set overnight before fitting panels, which dramatically increases the fence's windresistance.
4.2.5. Precast Concrete Fence
4.3.1. General
Fencing shall conform to the details and shall use BRC fencing type fabricated and has license of ISO
9001:2000.
4.3.2. Material
Material of fencing should be high quality low carbon steel wire. BRC fencing should be good corrosion

Suggested procedure is first planted buffer iron pipe or permanently cemented in the fence line.
Usually it takes 2 people to put up, one worker and one assistant.
Fences can be glued to a metal pipe with one of the following ways, namely:
4.1. 1. Using the U bolts and clamps to clamp the fence at the top and bottom, the U bolts is
clamped into iron triangle.
4.2. 2. Jump in welding to steel pipe (with electric welding). The weld connecting the three points
which are usually the middle and bottom. This method is easier and shorter than the first way.
5.0.
Notes before installing, make a rope connecting the pole to measure the alignment of iron pipe
fence. And vertical alignment gauge fence, both of these processes require one assistant. When
installed alone, then you need a fence before being installed rafters shaped angled triangle by 4
seeds to withstand the fence when installed.
Dont forget to check the straightness of fences after all been done.

EXAMINATION
The physical locations of features such as fence lines, gates and gate posts shall be in accordance with
the plans. Removal of tree, shrubs, or landscape area is subject to prior approval unless specifically
shown to be removed on the drawing.
7.0.
PREPARATION
Provide a reasonably smooth profile at the fence line. The bottom of the fence shall not be more than 50
mm above the finished ground line. Where the fence crosses features such as streams and drainage
ditches and it is impractical to conform with the fence to the ground contour, the fence shall span the
depression, unless otherwise shown on the plans. Close the space below the bottom of the fence with
extra fence fabric or barbed wire.
8.0.
FENCE INSTALLATION
Fencing shall be erected in straight lines between angle points by skilled mechanics experienced in
this type of construction and in accordance with the manufacturer's printed recommendations as
approved and with these specifications. Posts shall be spaced not more than 3 meters on centers and
in true lines. Posts shall be set plumb and rigid after installation. Centerline of fence braces shall be
12 inches below the top of the fabric. The top surface shall have a crown watershed finish. After
concrete has set, accessories shall be installed. Chain link fabric shall be fastened to end posts with
stretcher bars and clamps and to line posts and top rail with wire or bands at approximately 14-inch
centers and 24-inch centers, respectively. Gate posts shall be braced diagonally to adjacent line posts
to ensure stability.
Changes in direction of the fence line where the horizontal angle is 15 degrees or more shall be
considered as corners and corner posts shall be installed. Changes in the grade where the vertical
angle exceeds five percent shall have slope posts installed at the point of change.
Between posts, the chain link fabric shall be fastened to a top and bottom tension wire with 4 mm
diameter.
Tie wire shall not be lighter than nine-gauge galvanized steel wire. The use of approved galvanized
steel bands will be permitted in lieu of tie wires for fastening the chain-like fabric to the posts and
gate frames.
For precast concrete fence, the posts are positioned and erected by site. The pier size, depth and
reinforcement are constructed as specified on engineering drawing. After the post are accurately
spaced, plumbed and leveled, they are braced until the pier concrete has obtained its initial strength.
With the post erected, the panels are manually slid into place. Where posts spacing must be less than
1.5 meter, the panel are saw cut to the length as required fit. Post caps and panel caps are bonded
into place by applying a silicone based adhesive between cap and fence component.
Gates shall be hung and all hardware shall be adjusted so that gates operate satisfactorily from OPEN
or CLOSED position. Gate shall be installed plumb, level and secure for full opening without
interference. Install ground set items in concrete for anchorage as recommended by the fence
manufacturer. Adjust hardware for smooth operation and lubricate. Sliding gate shall operate
smoothly and easily under minimum pressure.
Place concrete around posts in a continuous pour. Check each post for plumb and vertical and top
alignment, and hold in position during placement and finishing operations.
Trowel finish tops of footings, and slope or dome to direct water away from posts. Set keepers, stop,
tracks, eyebolts, and other accessories into concrete as required. Wheel rolling area for sliding gates
shall be steel trowel smooth finish concrete.
