Black Friday...Cyber Monday...Giving Tuesday
December 1st, 2015
A few years ago Giving Tuesday was created as a way to get our focus
off ourselves and back onto those in need after the big US Thanksgiving
shopping weekend! This year we at Galcom decided to get on board! So
what could we do, to get our focus back on the mission field??
...how about EXTREME PRODUCTION!!
Each week our volunteers give their time to assemble SOLAR
POWERED fix tuned Radios and/or AUDIO BIBLES in our production
department. On an average day we make about 200 units...for giving
Tuesday we are setting a pretty high goal...we are calling this day
EXTREME PRODUCTION and have a goal to complete 1,000 GoTell radios...this will complete an order heading for distribution in
South Sudan!!
Most people in South Sudan live on less than a dollar a day. They have
no access to clean water, electricity or schools. We can make a
difference with solar radios tuned to Every Village radio stations
broadcasting chronological Bible stories, news, health information and
educational programs.
You can be a part of our EXTREME PRODUCTION day by being an
EXTREME GIVER! Our awesome Ministry partner Every Village
matches funds...our financial goal for this day is $10,000!! With
matching funds that means all 1,000 Go-Tell radios made on December
1st will be 100% funded.

the name of the Lord, to serve others less fortunate at the Mustard
Seed. We want to invite you to participate in this ministry by
donating a ticket cost (approx, $20.00) or purchasing a pair of
Christmas socks, and/or serving the meal. Our goal is to raise
$1000.00 which covers the total cost of the M.S. dinner. More
socks available in the foyer following the Church service. Please

Trivia Answer: #3. Saul

Westbourne Baptist Church

The season is for most Christians one of anticipation and hope (if one
looks beyond the commercialization!), although at its beginnings the
emphasis was much more on penitence, fasting and sin. For most
Christians it is not just a celebration of a moment in time when a baby
was born, but also looks beyond to a time when the Bible tells us that
Jesus will come again, not as a weak and vulnerable baby but in power
and with authority. The traditional Scripture readings for this time
emphasize both the First and Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and our
accountability for faithfulness at His coming, judgment on sin and the
hope of eternal life.

Who, from his shoulders upward, was higher than any of the people?
1. Solomon
3. Saul
2. Samuel
4. Samson

Pray for Emma & Arve- Pray for healing as Emma is still away
from home recovering from a broken foot.
Pray for Gord and Desiree Smith in their time of trials.
Pray for our small group study teams- That we will draw nearer
the Lord as we learn how to study His Word each week.
Pray continually for Vivian Fayez-For Gods protection as she
ministers to Syrian refugees in Jordan.
