My Neighbours
My name is Halim. I live with my family in Taman Indah. We have many neighbours. I would like to tell you about two of our
neighbours.
On the right of our house lives Encik Ganesan. He is a teacher at a nearby Secondary Scool. His wife, Puan Selvy is also a teacher, but
she teaches at a Primary School. He goes to school on a motorbike but his wife drives a car to work.
On our left is Encik Andik. He is married to Puan Indigo. They are from Sarawak. Encik Andik works as a clerk at a bookshop in
town. Puan Indigo does not work, and she is a housewife. Encik Andik, like Puan Selvy, drives to work.
Encik Ganesan and Puan Selvy has three children. They are Maniam, Selvam and Citra. They all go to my school. Encik Andik and
Puan Indigo have two children, they are David and Shasha. David is in secondary school but Shasha goes to the same primary school
as I do. We are classmates.
I like my neighbours because they are helpful and kind. They often help us to keep the neighbourhood clean. The neighbours children
and I usually play together in the nearby playground. We often have visits from them.
