Topic: Legal intervention on displacement of land issues in Chhattisgarh.

Purpose/Objective of Intervention:

To get Access to Justice for the rural people who got displaced because of fraudulent
practices by the large scale industries and got tied up in the knots of government Land laws
by implementing the eminent domain concept to acquire the land for the purpose of
development, leading to the industrial development but not giving any proper shelter or
rehabilitation.

Awareness about the legal aid and process of fair trial. .

Reason - Any failure to render justice to these victims will cause them to lose their faith in our
Judicial System which is last source of hope left

Follow-up the cases which are going in the court related to this incident, and put continuous
pressure on the government to fulfil its responsibilities.

Reason - Right of access to justice under Article 39-A and principle of fair trial mandate right
to legal aid .

Land Issue is one of the major cause which gave birth to the Left wing Extremism Activities
so it need to be understand very carefully.

To look upon the action and measures taken by state government and officials regarding their
living condition and the kind of problems faced by them in daily life regarding livelihood,
security, and other reasons, and ensure that it is not reinforcing prevailing hierarchies on the
lines of caste, class, religion, gender, etc.
Reason

1. Article 39 lays down certain principles of policy to be followed by the State, including
providing an adequate means of livelihood for all citizens,equal pay for equal work
for men and women, proper working conditions, reduction of the concentration of
wealth and means of production from the hands of a few, and distribution of
community resources to "sub serve the common good"
2. Articles 4143 mandate the State to endeavour to secure to all citizens the right to
work, a living wage, social security, maternity relief, and a decent standard of living.

Towards creation of an environment of peace and justice and prevention of further any such
kind of incidents by conducting workshops, trainings, involving paralegals and other
government people.

Goal:
To Research, Expose , Stop and seek access to justice for the poor and Vulnerable people of rural
parts of Chhattisgarh whose land got displaced by fraudulent means.
