[A Manual
Activities]
Project-based Learning [PBL] is a dynamic approach
toofteaching
in which students
explore real-world problems and challenges. With this type of active and engaged
learning, students at the secondary level are inspired to obtain a deeper knowledge of
the subjects they are studying. The Board has brought out a new publication, Projectbased Learning in Schools for Classes IX and X for use by teachers to support the
teaching- learning process.

The book, Guidelines for Project Work in Accounting and Practical Work in
Computerized Accounting, in the subject, Accountancy for class XII, has been revised
to support skills development.
Environmental Education - Teachers Manual, Classes I V consists of activities
that provide diverse and meaningful experiences to the students about their
environment and also nurture their criticalthinking and problemsolving skills.
Environmental Education- Teachers Manual, Classes VI VIII consists of
activities based on various themes related to environment that can be performed by
employing simple tools and techniques in the school premises under the supervision of
the teacher.
