CARBOS FOR CHRIST Wednesdays, 12:35 pm

Join us for lunch and fellowship in the UCC

Atrium every Wednesday at 12:35 pm. Cost is
free, but freewill offerings are happily accepted.
Come to the 12:05 Mass beforehand and feed your
soul as well as your body!

In what concrete ways are you living your faith

through service to others?

Jesus wants to be King and Lord of our lives. He freed us from sin
and death. Yet, Christ invites us to turn away from worldly things
to participate fully in his Kingdom. We are reminded that He is
victorious. Do I live as a faithful member of the Kingdom?

Catechumen profile Joshua Choe

We want everyone in the UCC community to

get to know those who are going through RCIA
(Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) to become
full members of the Catholic Church. Today we
profile Joshua Choe!

Joshua is a second-year student from Carrollton,

TX, who came to UT to study Computer Science. In addition to
the violin, he has played the piano and clarinet. He came to the
UCC to learn more about Catholicism and because he had a desire
to become Catholic. (We were also the closest Catholic Church to
UT!) Since becoming part of our UCC community Joshua has
joined the 11:30 am choir where he plays violin. He is also part of
the World Youth Day pilgrimage group. In the future, Joshua
would like to join the Knights of Columbus and possibly a Third
Order. Through RCIA, Joshua hopes to deepen his faith and to
become Catholic.
Adult confirmation prep Spring 2016

If you are a baptized Catholic who has received first

communion and would like to be confirmed in the
spring of 2016, please contact our Campus Minister,
Marti Salas, at marti@utcatholic.org. Classes will
begin in mid-January 2016.
