STEEL WORKS
1 M.S Sheet (appropriate thickness) Cladding for columns, beams etc. with simple Build-up Box section with Stiffener Plates 500mm c/c MT
for inside the Build-up Box section. (e.g. joists, angle, conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6) - 1964 ) connected to one another with
bracket, gussets, cleats as per design drawings, including laser cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary
bending, bolting, metal arc, butt ,stitch welding and gas welding conforming to IS: 816- 1956 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of
approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 1957, hoisting and erection etc. The rate should also include the cost of sections,
consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants, welding, cutting, approved grouting in cement
mortar/cement concrete, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of Asian of approved quality/color/shade/make , over 2 coat of
primer (Zinc chromite or Yellow oxide ) after scrapping the surface using sand paper, cleaning etc to a required finish, The quoted rate to
be also inclusive of all incidental charges such as electricity , labour insurance , scaffolding, staging where necessary, etc ,complete all
as per the drawing, specifications and direction of the Architects. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of
members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts will not be
paid separately, (Basic Price
@ Rs 47,000.00/ MT).

2 M.S. structural works in roof trusses with tubular (Hollow ) sections conforming to IS: 806-1957

& IS: 1161- 1958 connected to one another with bracket, gusset cleats as per design, drawing , including cutting to requisite size,
fabrication with necessary metal arc, butt ,stitch welding and gas welding conforming to IS: 816- 1956 & IS: 9595 using electrodes of
approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 1957, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel
section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants, welding, cutting, approved grouting in cement
mortar/cement concrete, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of Asian / of approved quality/color/shade/make over 2 coat of
primer (Zinc chromite or Yellow oxide ) after scrapping the surface using sand paper, cleaning to a required finish, etc including all
incidental charges such as electricity , labour insurance , scaffolding, staging where necessary etc. Payment to be made on the basis of
calculated weight of structural tubular members as specified in relevant IS code in finished work. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat,

Grade Steel of approved manufacturer with glass panel having 12 mm thick clear toughened laminated glass held together with SS- 316
Grade Stainless steel Spider & bolt assembly with laminated glass fins 21 mm thick. The Glass fins and glass panel assembly shall be
connected to Slab/beams by means of SS- 316 Grade stainless steel brackets & Anchor bolts and at the bottom using SS channel
(appropriate size ) using fastener & anchor bolts, non staining weather sealants of approved make, Teflon/ nylon bushes and
separators to prevent bi- metallic contacts, all complete to perform as per specification and approved drawings. The complete system
to be designed to accommodate thermal expansion & seismic movements etc. The joints between glass panels (6 to 8 mm) and gaps at
the perimeter & in U channel of the assembly to be filled with non staining weather sealant, so as to make the entire system fully water
proof & dust proof. The rate shall include all design, Engineering and shop drawing including approval from structural designer, labour,
T&P, scaffolding , other incidental charges including wastage, enabling temporary services all fitting fixers nut bolts, washer, Buffer
plates, fastener, anchors, SS channel, laminated glass etc. all complete all as per detailed drawing & direction of the Architects . For
the purpose of payment, actual elevation area of Glazing including thickness of joints and the portion of Glass panel inside the
SS channel shall be measured.
