ABSTRACT
3

As a civil engineer, it is important for us to be familiar about the

concepts and the design methodology for the structural components of the
building. This project is done to know the process involved in preparing the plan
for the building, understanding the basic concepts of designing using AutoCad and
analyzing manually.
Prefabrication technique has been proposed for an efficient and time
saving construction method. The project envisages the design of a modular house
for mass housing.
As per the income groups, the area has been allocated to the households
for proper disposition of the area provided. The plan is selected according to the
plot dimensions and architectural inputs.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
