The C Natural Minor is the same as the E flat Major Scale.

We start E flat major scale on

the sixth scale degree or 6th note from Eb (this works the same for all keys - start six notes from the root note to
play the Natural Minor Scale)
This is the C Natural Minor Scale. To see the Natural Minor Scale clearly play it up and back in tone on one string.
Play and say note names out loud- Start on the 3rd fret of the A string:
3rd fret A string = C, 5th fret A string=D, 6th fret =Eb, 8th fret=F, 10th fret=G, 11=Ab, 13=Bb and 15th = C octave.
Now backwards: 13=Bb, 11=Ab, 10=G, 8=F, 6=Eb, 5=D, 3=C. Later do this same process for each string.
To do this you must first learn all the Natural note names on each string.
We give number positions to each note in each scale starting with the 1 or root note or key note (C). C=root note or starting note.
C=1, D=2, Eb=b3, F=4, G=5, Ab=b6, Bb=b7, C=8 - 1st octave. Second octave
D=2/9, Eb=b3/b10, F=11, G=12, A=b13/b6, Bb=b14/b7, C= 1/8/R

C minor position open position (open strings in a position means it is an open position)
The Key Signature tells you what notes are sharp or flat for the entire song.

C natural minor position #1 (many things in music have many names like C Natural Minor is also called - Eb Major.
C Natural Minor is called Relative Minor (based off the sixth note or tone of the major scale).
It it is also called the Aeolian Minor (from a modal viewpoint).

Here is the C minor scale starting on the third fret low E string.
It is written up in tone then down in tone, ascending then descending
Memorize one position every 2 to 6 months.
Say note names out loud as you play them. Also memorize all root
note positions. Root is played twice for this purpose.
