This medication is used on the skin to treat common skin and foot (plantar) warts. Salicylic acid
helps cause the wart to gradually peel off. This medication is also used to help remove corns
and calluses. This product should not be used on the face or on moles, birthmarks, warts with
hair growing from them, or genital/anal warts.
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic. It belongs to the same class of drugs as aspirin (salicylates). It
works by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that causes
the skin cells to stick together. This makes it easier to shed the skin cells. Warts are caused by
a virus. Salicylic acid does not affect the virus.
How To Use
Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information,
consult your doctor or pharmacist.
This medication is for use on the skin only. To avoid irritation, do not let this medication come
into contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, groin, or any broken skin. If you do get the medication
in those areas, flush the area with cool water for 15 minutes. Wash hands after use.
First, soak the corn, callus, or wart in warm water for about 5 minutes to soften the treatment
area. Dry thoroughly. Your doctor may direct you to use a pumice stone, callus file, or emery
board to carefully remove the top dead layers of skin after soaking and before applying the
medication. This dead skin removal is only to help the medication work better. Do not try to rub
the wart or callus off.
If you are using a liquid/gel, apply a few drops or a thin coat of the medication to cover the
entire wart, callus, or corn using the applicator if provided. Be careful to apply it only to the
affected area and not the surrounding skin. Let dry for 5 minutes. Depending on the brand
used, you may need to apply the medication twice with each treatment. Check your product
package and follow the directions carefully. You may cover the area loosely with a bandage.
Repeat this procedure 1 to 2 times daily for up to 2 weeks for corns and calluses and 12 weeks
for warts or as directed by your doctor.
If you are using a medicated pad or bandage, you may need to cut the pad so that it covers the
treatment area completely but does not touch the surrounding skin. Peel off the protective
covering and place the patch/bandage over the area. Leave in place according to package
directions. Remove and place a new patch/bandage as directed (usually every 8 to 48 hours
depending on brand). Repeat this procedure for up to 2 weeks for corns and calluses and 12
weeks for warts.
Dosage is based on your medical condition, product type/brand, and response to treatment. Do

not use large amounts, apply this medication more often, or use it for a longer period than
directed. Your condition will not clear faster, but the chance for side effects may be increased.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at
the same time each day.
If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem,
seek immediate medical attention.

Paraffin wax is a white or colorless soft solid derivable from petroleum, coal or oil shale, that
consists of a mixture of hydrocarbonmolecules containing between twenty and forty carbon
atoms. It is solid at room temperature and begins to melt above approximately 37 C (99 F);
[1] its boiling point is >370 C (698 F).[2] Common applications for paraffin wax
include lubrication, electrical insulation, and candles. [3] It is distinct from kerosene, another
petroleum product that is sometimes called paraffin.
In chemistry, paraffin is used synonymously with alkane, indicating hydrocarbons with the
general formula CnH2n+2. The name is derived from Latin parum ("barely") + affinis, meaning
"lacking affinity" or "lacking reactivity", referring to paraffin's unreactive nature

Aladin - Si Aladin ay isang Morong Persyanong tumulong kay Florante, at nagligtas ng kanyang
buhay. Ang kanyang ama ay si Sultan Ali-Adab na siya ring umagaw sa kanyang kasintahang si
Flerida. Si Aladin at Florante ay nagkita nang hindi sinasadya, at karamihan ng mga bahagi ng
awit ay isinasalaysay sa kanya ni Florante. Siya rin ang idolo ni Florante bilang pinakamagaling
na mandirigma, ngunit sa kanilang pagkikita ay hindi alam ni Florante na ang kausap niya ay si
Aladin, ang kanyang idolo.

ni Florante mula sa mga tagang nakakamatay ni Adolfong kanyang tinaga nang kanyang tangkaing
patayin si Florante sa isang dula-dulaan nila sa kanilang paaralan sa Atenas. Bukod pa sa
pagliligtas ng buhay niya, marami pa siyang ginawa para kay Florante, at noong sinakop ang
Albanya nang makailang ulit, kasama siya ni Florante sa pakikibaka.
Flerida - Si Flerida ang kasintahan ni Alading inagaw mula sa kanya ni Sultan Ali-Adab. At sa
pagpapangakong pagpapakasal sa Sultan, napagpabago niya ang isip nito sa pagbitay kay Aladin. Ngunit
sa katotohanan, hindi niya tinupad ang pag-aako, at tumakas sa araw ng kasal.

Antenor - Si Antenor ay isang guro sa Atenas nina Florante, Konde Adolfo at Menandro.
Menalipo - Si Menalipo ay isang pinsan ni Florante. Iniligtas niya si Ka T. Rin mula sa isang buwitreng
dadagitin siya sana nang siyang isang sanggol pa lamang gamit ang kanyang pana at busog. Ipinapakita
nito na si Menalipo ay higit na mas matanda kaysa kay Ka T. Rin.
Konde Sileno - Si Konde Sileno ang ama ni Konde Adolfong ayon kay Florante ay marangal.
Haring Linseo - Si Haring Linseo ang hari ng Kaharian ng Albanya, at ama ni Laura. Ang kanyang
pamumuno ay nagtapos nang mayroong kumalat na usap-usapan tungkol sa pag-uutos daw niyang
harangin ang imbakan ng trigo upang gutumin ang mga tao ng Albanya. Ang usap-usapang itong
pinasimulan ni Konde Adolfo ang nagpaalab ng mga damdamin ng mga tao sa Albanyang nagdulot sa pagaaklas nila. Ang pag-aaklas namang ito ang ginamit ni Konde Adolfo upang maiupo ang sarili sa trono.
Sultan Ali-Adab =>Si Sultan Ali-Adab ang sultan ng Persyang umagaw sa kasintahan ni Alading si
Flerida. Siya ay isang malupit na ama. Pinatawan niya ng kamatayan si Aladin, ang kanyang anak, dahil
daw sa pagkatalo niya sa Persya, ngunit ang totoong dahilan dito ay upang makuha niya si Flerida mula

sa kanyang anak. Ngunit hindi natuloy ang pagbitay kay Aladin, nang nangako si Flerida na kanyang
pakakasalan ang Sultan, isang pangako na hindi rin natuloy nang tumakas si Flerida sa mismong araw ng
