Mama Said
Creatures
and Creepers
Go Bump in
the Night
BY CASSIE REA
Staff Writer
A North Carolina woman
named Tracy recently woke to
a thump in her attic. She called
her older son
and nephew
to come deal
with
what
she thought
was an animal clamoring around
and pushing
nails out of
her bedroom ceiling.
What they found shocked
the family. Her ex-boyfriend
climbed out of her attic with a
grin and walked out the front
door before police could arrive
at the scene.
The man was recently released from jail for stealing
Tracys car. He had spent the
last two weeks in Tracys attic, relieving himself in plastic
cups and spying on her from a
vent above her room.
He had packed old coats and
jackets into the heating unit
and was sleeping in it, according to the home owner.
What made the ordeal even
more creepy was the attic could
only be accessed from inside
the house by a pull-down ladder on the first floor.
The man simply waltzed
into Tracys home when no one
was looking and set up camp in
her insulated upper room. Now
her five children are afraid to
sleep in their beds even though
the locks have been changed.
Back in the day it was fine
to leave doors open and homes
unguarded. Now, creepers like
this guy give women and men
alike all the more reason to
think twice about locking their
doors and windows.

Newsroom
AMAZING
Few people other than Aaron Sorkin can make a show about the news
entertaining. His writing makes viewers believe they can be both informed and educated by anchors and reporters. The ensemble cast led
by Jeff Daniels is superbly captivating. This is a must-watch not only
for news hounds, but everyone.

The Words
WASTE OF MONEY
A fiction writer narrates, through his newly released book, the story
of a writer who steals the work of another writer who has lived, loved
and lost his manuscript. As confusing as it sounds, this is the plot of the
entire movie. The Words leaves viewers speechless, trying to make
sense of the chaos even after the credits.
