thembeingthepopularXKCDhumorstrip.Thesmallerandmorenichecomicsare
quickertoadapttotheaudiencesdemands,whilethelargeronesareconstrainedby
marketing&standardisation

bottomupcompetitiveenvironmentthatfostersinnovation,inwhich
entrepreneursstartfromthemarginsofexistingprofessions

companieswereabletogettheirworkpublished.Now,digitalpublishingand
webcomicsisallowingforamorediverserangeofartistsfromthebottomupto
