Product Description
Corro-Coat MX 1011695 is a versatile epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coating developed to
provide attractive decorative finishes combined with protective and functional properties.
Corro-Coat MX 1011695 offers excellent mechanical and chemical performance. It provides good
colour stability during curing. Epoxy-polyester hybrids coatings are discouraged for applications
where resistance to UV light is a prerequisite.
Application Areas
Corro-Coat MX 1011695 is recommended for interior applications. Typical application areas are
domestic appliances, indoor metal furniture and fixtures, shelves, lighting equipment, etc.
Corro-Coat MX 1011695 can be successfully applied to ferrous and non ferrous substrates.
Pre-treatment
The overall quality of the coating system is largely dependent on the type and quality of the pretreatment. The recommended types of pre-treatment for the most frequently used substrates
are:
Aluminum
Steel
Zinc coated steel
Final rinse (deionized)

Chromate or chromate free conversion


Iron and Zinc phosphate, nanoceramic conversion
Zinc phosphate or chromate conversion, nanoceramic conversion
The last running water from the object should be tested at 20C.
The readings obtained should measure below 30S/cm.

Curing Schedules
Corro-Coat MX 1011695 is formulated for curing condition 180C/10 min object temperatures.
