APOLOGY (PROSE)

a. Prepare flash cards on synonyms / antonyms.


b. Collect the newspaper clippings of the Presidents
of Various countries.
c. Make your own sentences using the given words
from the lesson. (Teachers must give them a few
words).

APOLOGY (POEM)

a. Identify the figures of speech employed in the


poem.
b. Draw a picture that describes the poem.

THE TEARS OF THE


DESERT (SUPP.
READER)

a. Narrate a story of your own.


b. Prepare a mind map about the story.
c. Collect the pictures of various kinds of landforms
(such as plateaus, deserts, valleys, etc) and write
a few lines about them.

THE MARVELLOUS
MACHINE (PROSE)

a. Draw any one of the major organs of our body and


write its functions.
b. List out the superstitious belief that you know.
(This activity can be done either as written or
oral).

in which the eyes/mouth can be placed.
b. Mono Acting Act the various emotions that
depict the poem.

healthy and physically fit.
b. Narrate the humorous incident happened in your
life in visiting doctors.
c. List out the special names of the doctors who deal
with special organs of our body. (eg. dentist
doctor who treats general dentistry problems)

EXERCISES

a. List out the following short forms as either


abbreviations or acronyms.
b. Fill in the details in the given application form.
(Teachers must give them the format of
application)
c. Prepare a pie chart based on the given data.
d. List out a few questions that can be asked to your
friend to know about his/her likes and dislikes.
e. Listen to the newspaper article read by your
teacher and answer the questions asked.
f. Write a letter to your friend inviting him/her to
your village local festival. (Teachers can give any
of the personal letters for this activity)
g. Pick out at least fifteen words from your book and
split them into syllables.

GRAMMAR

a. Prepare a mind map on the various patterns of


sentences (Sentence Pattern).
b. Prepare a chart carries the various tables of
direct and indirect speech.
c. Write down the commands given by your Physical
Education Teacher during your games activity.
d. Pick out at least twelve assertive sentences from
your lessons and frame question tags for them.

Note :
Book Back activities are not included in this except a few. Those Book Back
Activities can also be used according to the teachers preference.
Teachers can categorize the above said activities either as FA(A) or as Practical.
