Description

Connecting to an
external battery
cabinet

An external battery cabinet supports battery groups with power up

to 48 V 184 Ah. Two stacked battery cabinets support battery groups
with power up to 48 V 368 Ah.

Built-in PSUs

l The PSUs convert AC mains into -48 V DC power.

l The PSUs are hot-swappable.
l The PMU manages the PSUs as well as the charging and
discharging of batteries.

Built-in PMU

l The PMU provides RS485 communication ports and dry contact

alarm ports, achieving remote monitoring and unattended
operation.
l The PMU provides the battery low voltage disconnect (BLVD)
and load low voltage disconnect (LLVD) functions.
l The PMU is hot-swappable.
Supplying power

The embedded AC/DC power system supports 220 V AC singlephase, 220 V AC three-phase, and 110 V/120 V AC dual-live-wire
power inputs.

Distributing AC power

After going through the EPU, one AC power input is divided into
two AC power outputs:
l One output provides AC power for the service outlet unit (SOU).
l One is connected to the junction box on the left side of the
cabinet and divided into four AC power outputs, which are then
provided for the heater or heating film.

Distributing DC power

For details, see Table 2-2.

Surge protection for

power supply ports and
signal ports

Surge protection circuits are provided for alarm ports,

communication ports, and external surge protection modules at the
AC or DC power supply ports to ensure reliable surge protection
and inductive lightning protection.

Dissipating heat

The heat dissipation of the APM30H is performed by a heat

exchanger core as well as the inner and outer air circulation fans,
which can also avoid the invasion of dust.

Grounding mode

The general ground cable for the cabinet and the ground cables for
devices in the cabinet are all connected to the ground bar in the
cabinet.

Reporting the cabinet

type automatically

The electronic label unit (ELU) reports the cabinet type

automatically.

Table 2-2 lists the DC power distribution functions of an APM30H.

5.1 IBBS200T Description

An IBBS200T is an outdoor battery cabinet with a TEC. The IBBS200T can provide backup
power for the APM30H.
The housing material of the IBBS200T uses aluminum board. The surface is covered with acrylic
orange-figured paint to protect the IBBS200T from the damage caused by the solar radiation,
corrosion, moist heat, and mold. The coverage of the heat insulation foam is more than 75% on
the inner side of the cabinet. In this way, the cooling efficiency of the TEC can be improved.
