Rev 22: 18For I testify unto every

man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him
the plagues that are written in this book: Joseph Smith claimed he was the only one with the knowledge to translate the
Book of Mormon in 1829, and although there is a strong emphasis on family and keeping Gods laws, Mormon doctrine
differs greatly from the basic Christian doctrine that Jesus is God in the Flesh (not a lesser god), born of the holy spirit &
through the preaching of the gospel produces spiritual seed. (1Cor 15:50)

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and
evil.

Mormons Hope to Become Gods of Their Own Worlds

Procreating Endless Numbers of Children!
Regarding the angelic visitation where Joseph was shown the gold plates, it was originally recorded: "He
called me by name, and said unto me that he was a messenger sent from the presence of God to me, and
that his name was Nephi." (The Times and Seasons Vol. III, pp. 749, 753)

In modern printings of the History of the Church, this has been changed to read "Moroni". It is interesting to
note that Joseph Smith lived for two years after the name "Nephi" was printed in Times and Seasons and he
never published a retraction. In August, 1842, the Millennial Star, printed in England, also published Joseph
Smith's story stating that the angel's name was "Nephi" (see Millennial Star, Vol. 3, p. 53). On page 71 of the
same volume we read that the "message of the angel Nephiopened a new dispensation to man" In
1853, Joseph's mother, Lucy Mack Smith, also said the angel's name was Nephi (Biographical Sketches, p.
79).
The name was also published in the Pearl of Great Price (1851 edition, p. 41) as "Nephi". The original
handwritten manuscript of the Pearl of Great Price dictated by Joseph Smith reveals that the name was
originally written as "Nephi," but that someone at a later date wrote the word "Moroni" above the line. All
evidence indicates that this change was made after Joseph's death. Walter L. Whipple, in his thesis written at
BYU, stated that Orson Pratt "published The Pearl of Great Price in 1878, and removed the name of Nephi
from the text entirely and inserted the name Moroni in its place" (Textual Changes in the Pearl of Great Price,
typed copy, p. 125).
Lastly, in 1888 J. C. Whitmer made this statement (it should be noted that a majority of the Book of Mormon is
alleged to have been translated in the Whitmer home): "I have heard my grandmother (Mary M. Whitmer) say
on several occasions that she was shown the plates of the Book of Mormon by an holy angel, whom she
always called Brother Nephi." (John C. Whitmer, "The Eight Witnesses", The Historical Record, Volume 7,
October, 1888, p. 621) Neither name is found in the bible, and neither is God having sex with Mary (Luk 1:3435) ~ Journal Discourses 2:268
Why would the church feel the need to change Joseph Smith's story? Perhaps because Moroni makes more
sense than Nephi, given that it was Moroni who buried the plates in the first place. But Joseph originally said
the angel was named Nephi, not Moroni. Perhaps the name Nephi is too close to the name for the children
of the fallen angels Nephilim (Gen 6:4); where Moroni means a person of subnormal intelligence.

There are a few truths we must consider before trying to understand the book of Mormon; does the
religion keep within the parameters of the KJV bible, Gods preserved Word, or does it add to or
take away from it? The angel Moroni is not found anywhere outside the book of Mormon, and if
it were a true angel of God, would it like its image to be cast over every Mormon church on the top
of a masonic epitaph? Besides that, your attention may be drawn to the fact that Joseph Smith
practiced plural marriage, but not with single woman, but with women who were married at the
time. Also, we must recognise physical seed is only for this life, and shall not continue in heaven
(Mat 22:30).

Besides the heavy influence of Mormonism in Walt Disney, if folks

had any idea how close the Superman story is to old Mormon theology about Jesus & His origin, I doubt they would be
amused. And I doubt you will ever hear it over an LDS pulpit, but then again, who knows?
According to the Book of Abraham, the star nearest to the place where God dwells is called Kolob. (Abraham 3:3). If God
dwells there, we can assume the councils of Heavens were held there. It was there that it was decided that God would send
the Baby Jesus to earth to save humankind from Eternal death and sin.
In similar fashion, Jor-el was a ruler on the Planet Krypton and sent his baby son, Kal-el (El being Hebrew for God). As
Krypton was being destroyed, Jor-el sent his son in a space capsule where he landed on Earth and discovered/ adopted by
Sam and Molly Kent (Though those names were Eben and Sarah Kent in the original TV series) and called Clark Kent. Clarks

father dies and he and his mother are left to run the farm.

Clark grows up and becomes a crusader for social justice, fighting crime as Superman in the city of
Metropolis!
One can see certain parallels, but it is hardly likely that two Jewish kids in Cleveland, Ohio, Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel
would have created a story that was similitude to the life of Jesus.

Nevertheless, I found the parallel with LDS Theology rather interesting as the film is being promoted as a similitude.

2And the spirit of the LORD

shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isa 11:

Isaiah 11 is talking about the real Jesus, but as you can see in the logo on the right; if I tell you the S represents
a snake you can now to see the eye at the top right, and the promise yes shall be as gods inter-grained into the
Mormon belief system.

Houses of Krypton,, Kol-Ar, Pol-Us, Sor-El ~ From

Wikipedia:
Quote: Initially, the S-shield had one meaning: S for Superman. Marv Wolfman's novelization of the film Superman
Returns depicts the symbol as belonging to one of the three primary houses of Krypton that brought peace to the
planet after a civil uprising, a serpent coiled inside a shield, a warning not to return to the ways of violence and
deception. The shield has since been taken as a coat of arms, resulting in Jor-El's continued presence in the council despite
his "mad" findings. The other two are merely described, including Pol-Us' eye of vigilance and Kol-Ar's open hand of
truth and justice. http://www.synchromysticismforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=4 &t=9430&start=100

Even though Obama is not a Mormon, and definitely not

Superman; he single handily takes politicians beyond kissing babies, into becoming the gods of their own planet,
like the Mormon doctrine suggests. I will leave it to decide if he is a bad or good god! But the bible says this of

Lucifer, the fallen Cherub: 2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the
glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Although the Superman series examines deep biblical concepts like the casting out of Satan in Superman II; in
Matthew 24, Jesus tells his disciples not to be deceived half a dozen times, and warns of separation for unfaithful
servants. Jesus never taught once saved always saved!
Luke 10:18, in which Jesus says, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. KJV. The words in the verse were translated into English from
the Greek New Testament, but were spoken by Jesus in Aramaic. It also says that Aramaic is the most ancient form of Hebrew. It goes on to
say that the Hebrew word for lightning is baraq.
Then the video goes to the book if Isaiah in the Bible, chapter 14:14 where Satan is quoted as saying I will ascend above the heights of the
clouds; I will be like the most high. According to the video, there are several references to Satan as having fallen from the heights or the
heavens and that the Hebrew word used for heights is bamah. Further, according to the video, there are conditions in Hebrew in which
bamah would have sometimes been pronounced U-bamah or O-bamah and would have been translated literally as Lightening from
the heights.
Therefore Baraq U-Bamah or O-bamah.
ALONE!

SALAVATION IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
