i. Write the statement of Basic Proportionality Theorem.
ii. If two circles with radii 4 cm and 6 cm touch externally, then find the distance
between their centers.
iii. If the sides of a triangle are 12 cm, 16 cm and 10 cm, then is it a right angled
triangle?
iv. The diameter of a circle is 42 cm. Find the circumference of the circle.

iv. Determine the value of 'p' so that slope of line through points R(2, 7) and S(p, 5) is 2
v. If (4,-2) is a point on the line AB and slope of the line is (-2), write the equation of
the line AB.
vi. O is the centre of a circle of radius 8 cm. The tangent at A on the circle cuts a line
through O at B such that AB = 15 cm. Find OB
3. Solve any three sub-questions:

i. Prove that ratio of the areas of two similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the
square of their corresponding sides.
ii. In the figure, a circle is inscribed in triangle ABC touches its sides AB, BC and AC at
points D, E and F, respectively. If AB = 12 cm, BC = 8 cm and AC = 10 cm, then find
the length of AD, BE and CF.
