Work Experience:
KBR (Kellog Brown and Root) Baghdad Iraq IZ (July06-Aug.09)
Under the supervision of the Power Plant Generator Foreman, I perform full
responsibility for the installation, operation, and major maintenance of diesel engine
electric generators and related equipment at the U.S. Embassy and residences. Observes
operation of these diesel generators which continuously supplies electric power to the
embassy buildings; read and interpret instruments and meters; change, open and close
circuits, and adjust operating controls to achieve maximum functionality in meeting
electric power needs. Start, stop, and switch power equipment and generators as
necessary. Re-fill fuel tanks, and monitor fuel feed gage to prevent shortage and sudden
power cuts. Keep records on fuel supplies and prepare weekly reports on fuel
consumption. Put emergency procedures into affect when electric storms or other
difficulties occur. Oil, lubricate, maintain, and repair power plant equipment.

Perform mechanical diagnostics of diesel engines to determine component failures. Carry


out mechanical repairs work on faulty engines to the component level.

Aepco Marine- (November 05- July 06)


Performed as an Outside Senior Machinist my work load includes, servicing and
maintaining fuel pumps, water pumps, valves, motors, engines, and alignments. Make
recommendations for carrying out job specifications, requirements, and quality control.
Responsible for day-to-day operational requirements to include coordinating job flow and
work assignments.

Mearsk- (1994-October 05)


Performed as a Machinist Mate with duties to include, changing, maintaining and
servicing Servo Motors, routine maintenance on filters, reworked air start motors on
various CAT Diesel Engines. Valve maintenance, and repair of main engine generators
and diesel generators. Installation of several RAS Track Pumps and motor alignments,
changing out of main shafts, changing out of Hub and Propeller blades, repairs and
maintenance to main generators. Hot oil flush, Hydros of hoses and pipes, replacements
and repairs to boat Davits.

Merchant Marine-Amsea (January 1988-1994)


As a Merchant Marine work included, servicing and maintaining of valves, shaft
alignments, maintenance on diesel oil and heavy oil periodic cleaning and running.
Maintenance and repairs consisted of changing out cylinder head, and liners. Pump
maintenance which includes alignments on feed pumps, condensate pumps and main
auxiliary pumps.

U.S. Navy (Feb. 1977-Sept. 1988)


Machinist Mate MM2
As a Second Class Petty Officer, I performed as a Machinist Mate, performing valve
maintenance, boiler maintenance, and repairs on main engines 600 and 1200LB plants.
Pumps maintenance-alignments, on feed pumps condensate pumps, main and auxiliary
pumps.
