 1 THE COURT: Chalice Jackson?

2 MS. MERONI: Greetings, your Honor.

3 THE COURT: You are Chalice Jackson?

4 MS. MERONI: Yes. My real name is Sharon Meroni,

5 but my Internet name is Chalice Jackson.

6 And I'm asking to have my -- I have a motion

7 before I had a motion before Judge Prather to appear

8 before the McHenry County Grand Jury.

9 THE COURT: And that was denied.

10 MS. MERONI: Yes, and I plan to appeal it.

11 And I would like to have the file sealed

12 because I'm being attacked. And they've been going

13 after my family.

14 I can't even get a job because they -- now,

15 and I'm trying to testify. And it's an election matter

16 so--

17 THE COURT: Well, my problem with your motion is

18 you haven't given notice to anybody.

19 MS. MERONI: That's because I just got the stuff

20 yesterday.

21 And they're going to post it all on the

22 Internet today. So the only way I can stop it is if we

23 get a seal today and stop it. And then I can come back

24 and argue it again. I just don't want them to put

 1 everything up on the Internet and ruin my -- You know,

2 I'm a recruiter. I can't get a job if my name is out

3 there.

4 And I'm trying to testify on an election

5 matter, and I'm allowed confidentiality by law for that.

6 And you have no idea what they've been doing

7 to me. They came to my house and got my mail, and it's

8 just scary.

9 And I don't mind coming back when it's not an

10 emergency. I just wanted to stop it today because they

11 got -- What they did is they send somebody here to get

12 all the Court documents, and then they were bragging

13 last night they were going to put them all up on the

14 Internet.

15 And they're involved in those documents. And

16 so they were able to get

17 THE COURT: Who is they?

18 MS. MERONI: It's a group called Politijab. And

19 they have decided to attack me because I want to

20 testify, and they don't wan t me to testify. So they

21 keep -- have been doing stuff ever since the first day

22 it came out that I was doing this to try to hurt me, you

23 know, posting things on my web and chasing me into chat

24 rooms and, you know, interfering when I'm broadcasting

 1 because I do a radio broadcasting.

2 It was all about restoring the Constitution.

3 I'm a peaceful person. I just want to testify that I

4 figured out we 've got election fraud.

S And I'm filing another motion tomorro w about

6 it too, so I don't mind coming back. I just don't wan t

7 them to be able to do irreparable harm to me by posting

8 all of it. And then wha t can I do once it's out there?

9 I can't stop it.

10 THE COURT: And you're asking for a temporary

11 restraining order against particular individuals?

12 MS. MERONI: Well, I think if we sealed the file,

13 he can't post it anyways.

14 So if the temporary restraining order is a

15 problem, I could say if we just seal the document and I

16 get that, then I can call the websi te, describe the

17 They're a group. I have their contact information. And

18 he won't allow the stuff to get posted. And they won't

19 be able to post it.

20 They're all lawyers, your Honor. These guys

21 are lawyers that are doing this to me. And they know I

22 have nothing.

23 My son died three years ago, and so then they

24 wen t into the obituary, and they got everybody's name in

 1 my family from there. And I had to send a letter to

2 everybody in my family because they were getting

3 contacted.

4 I found that one law that's about -- on the

5 website about testifying about election matters.

6 THE COURT: I'm sorry?

7 MS. MERONI: In that petition I found that one

8 thing that talks about my right to be confidential in

9 election matters -- Election Board of Education, State

10 of Illinois about the board. I got it right from their

11 websi te so that I can -- the names of complainants shall

12 be kept confidential.

13 I just was too inexperienced to handle this

14 properly. I'm sorry. I just didn't know. I should

15 have sealed it to begin with.

16 You know, the evidence that I -- I put in

17 on -- on the 20th, it wa s meant to go to the Grand Jury.

18 It wasn 't meant for the public. And so by them getting

19 that, they found out that I was investigating them.

20 THE COURT: Investigating who?

21 MS. MERONI: The Politijab people.

22 I have put in there all the evidence -- some

23 of the evidence that I have that they have been

24 targeting me ever since they found out I was doing this.

 1 And I also put information there about being harassed

2 and calling the police and having the Barrington Hills

3 police helping me.

4 THE COURT: Impounding the Court file isn't going

5 to stop that.

6 MS. MERONI: Well, they've been putting it on the

7 Internet and then everybody attacking me on it.

8 THE COURT: I don't think that I will rule on this

9 now.

10 I want you back here at 1:30.

11 MS. MERONI: Yes, sir. Thank you very much.

12 THE COURT: Hmm?

13 MS. MERONI: Thank you very much. And

14 (Unintelligible) .

15 (WHEREUPON, the case was passed

16 and later recalled.)

17 THE COURT: Sharon Meroni?

18 MS. MERONI: (I naudible) .

19 THE COURT: Ms. Meroni, I'm going -- I'm denying

20 your request for impoundment of the court file.

21 I spent the noon hour researching the issue

22 of impoundment of court files. And the inquiry that

23 must of necessity be made, under the circumstances

24 because of the nature of the lawsuit and the fact that

 1 it's been in the public domain since the case was filed,

2 you have not given me what I consider to be compelling

3 reasons to impound this file. Court files are by their

4 very nature supposed to be open.

5 This is what is known in the business as a

6 heater. The subject matter of this lawsuit, its

7 implications in the election system, the charges that

8 were raised, have an enormous public interest.

9 MS. MERONI: Can I just have my name referred to

10 as Chalice Jackson instead of Sharon Meroni, please ?

11 Because that is allowed, and I really need my

12 protection, your Honor. And I am allowed by election

13 law

14 THE COURT: (Unintelligible).

15 MS. MERONI: And it hasn't been in the public

16 domain. Nobody's seen it except now they have it and

17 then they're going to post it. And that was meant to be

18 confidential testimony for the Grand Jury. See, the

19 document--

20 THE COURT: No.

21 MS. MERONI: that they have was meant to go to

22 the Grand Jury. It wasn't meant to go --

23 THE COURT: You've waived that protection.

24 Here's a copy. You'll get a copy of that

2 MS. MERONI: And so then wh at do I do now?

3 THE COURT: I don't know.

4 Do you have any idea if this case wi ll be

5 ending in t wo days?

6 MS. MERONI: No, I don't.

7 But wha t do I need to make it compelling

8 enough that it would be -- that it would pass

9 (Unintelligible)?

10 THE COURT: So now you're going to have to raise

11 it wi th the Appellate Court.

12 After you get that order, I'm done with it.
