delivers low-cost, reliable electric services to over 1.5 million customers in
Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia. HP Best shore AE team
integrated with existing dedicated HP US AE support team to provide
application management and optimization services customized for
ALLEGHENY ENERGYs specific SAP environment. Clients The Passport is an
Enterprise Portal providing solution to the Existing Intranet Portal. Customers,
Business
Partners,

Employees,

portal. The current scope of portal team is handling of issues in Portal

Project Description/Scope: Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency

(MIGA) is a member of the World Bank Group that promotes and provides
guarantee services to parties engaged in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). It
uses the Guarantee Database (GDB) as a primary information, retrieval and
repository system for managing and reporting on data for activities
supporting the guarantee process. This is upgraded project for existing MIGA
operations project built on CGI Scripts & FaxPro. This project is having 2
Phases, Phase 1 covers application or document processing and Underwriting
Processing. Application process includes predefined step-by-step processing
of Preliminary, Definitive, SIP Applications and Underwriting Process starts
with Initial Project Review, Underwriting Paper, SIPU, HCA & Syndication after
application process. Phase 2 covers defined process for Commitments,
Contract, Contract Management, Disputes and Claims creation and
maintenance. FI is the another area where Finance related activities in
insurance process are handled. It provides reliable user interfaces with
WebDynpro for Java and Enterprise Portal 7.0 with backend as SAP R/3.
Responsibilities/Deliverables:
Developed UI layer screens using WebDynpro for Java.
Consumed RFCs as Adaptive RFC models in WebDynpro.

repositories and stored in databases which leads to difficulties in maintaining
the content. Migration of The Source to a new Portal platform by utilizing
Best Business Practices moves the Web server to a centralized file server for
better performance and maintainability.
