There are two units in the course. In the first unit the topics are: the imperatives, modal
verbs of advice, the weather, comparative adjectives and simple past. In the second
Unit the topics are: summer jobs, review of the comparative adjectives, expressing
wishes and desires, the Verb "To get", at the Supermarket, W-h questions with "Can",
superlative, expressing likes and preferences and there is - there are.

If an electrical power stops while I am presenting a quiz or an Error screen appears at the
end of any activity I should inform my tutor immediately and ask him to open and activate the
activity.
h) What are the steps to the present the Speaking assignment?
First I have to fill the format according to the dates and the schedule I want and I can to
present the speaking test. I also have to add my tutor to my Skype account and the day of the
test I have to be online ten minutes before the test start.

Is English important in your career? Why?

Yes, English is important in my life because

it will provided me with knowledge about
the language learnt (English) and the culture
of the places where people speak English.
When we learn a second language, we are
exercising our brain, because we are saving
lots of pieces of information there. In this
way learning English matters, it makes us
intellectually and culturally rich people.

English is important in my career as an

environmental engineer, because it will help
me to find better job opportunities could be
here in Colombia or in other countries.
Learning English will also give me the
ability to read about environmental issues
that are written in English. In the
environmental field there is always
something new to learn about and there are
so much information written in English
about those topics. What is more, I can also
get update in the last news about
engineering and can listen or read them in a
second language.
