Position Summary
The Project Officer will work with the HR Adviser-Davao and the team to provide advice and
administrative support to the different activities pertaining to the management of the In-Country
Scholarship Program (ICSP) Phase 2 under PAHRODF.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
Support the work of the HR Adviser-Davao in the management of the In-country scholarship
program.
Take charge in the preparation of all necessary documentation relating to mobilisation and
placement of scholarship awardees and on-award administration of the program;
Co-facilitate, especially in the planning and implementation and monitoring stages, the
conduct of major events related to the program, such as but not limited to: yearly or bi annual orientation and gathering of scholars, course counselling, REAP conference,
meetings with academic institutions, and relevant conferences and workshops.
Facilitate the scholars reintegration back to their communities and organisations after they
have graduated from their studies;
Recommend improvements in the documented business process to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness of the program;
Maintain all soft and hard records relating to application, selection and mobilisation; develop
forms and templates for the collection of critical data required to successfully manage the
local scholarship programs;
Maintain effective and efficient voice and written communication with DFAT , partner
agencies, awardees, and partner academic institutions to ensure successful
implementation of the program;
Assist in the development of and coordinate the communication plan of the Facility for ICSP
The Project Officer shall work closely with the HR Associate/Adviser in co-managing partner
organistions and academic institutions with regard to its work programs; and
Perform other duties as directed by the Facility Director and HR Adviser- Davao.
