CONTENT ANALYSIS:
On his way back from Thiruvananthapuram after attending a meeting,
Gopi visits his mother. The mother lives with her daughter Kamalam, a widow, who is
elder to Gopi. As Gopi opens the gate and enters the courtyard the mother sees him.
Though Kamalam explained her that it was Gopi, she could not recognize him.

mother who has lost her memory and the arrival of her son after a long time.

Kamaladas/ Madhavikutty/ Kamala Surayya is the daughter of the famous


Malayalam poet Balamani Amma and V.M.Nair. She is an internationally known poet,
short story writer and novelist, who wrote effortlessly both in English and Malayalam.
She has received many awards for her literary works.
