NOTE :
The system will support the following 4 power redundancy options:Combined Mode:This mode does not provide redundancy. The power available to
the system is the sum of power outputs of all power supplies in the chassis.Power Supply Redundancy (N+1) Mode: This mode guards against the
failure of one of the power supplies. The redundant power available to the system is the sum of all power outputs less one of the maximum rated
power supplies.Input Source Redundancy (Grid) Mode:This mode guards against failure of one power supply or input circuit (grid), with at least half
the power supplies connected to a different independent AC or DC feed. The power available to the system is the minimum power from both grids. If
one of the power supplies fails, the operational power redundancy mode changes to combined mode.(For the 3KW DC power supply, both inputs
have to be connected to one grid. The power available to the system is the minimum power from both grids.)Full Redundancy Mode: This mode
guards against failure of one power supply or one grid. The power available is the minimum power from the input source and power supply
redundancy. If one of the power supplies fails, the operational power redundancy mode changes to the power supply redundancy (N+1) mode.

WARNING :
Combined mode does not provide power supply redundancy. In combined mode, if one of the power supplies fails, the system may shut down if the
maximum load exceeds the maximum power supply power limit.

NOTE :
Power numbers quoted are based on the most current NX-OS release for the Nexus 7000. Older software releases might allocate more power to
common equipment components such as fan trays.

NOTE :

The Nexus 7000 backplane power connectors for the linecards, fan trays and Supervisors operate at 50V. The power supplies take the power from the
source and convert it into a 50V feed for these power connectors.

NOTE :
Output Power is the amount of power delivered from the Power Supply to the Nexus 7000. To figure Input Power, divide output power by .85
(conservative typical efficiency of the power supplies).

NOTE :
Output Power and Heat Dissipation numbers computed by the Cisco Power Calculator are current maximum values. These figures are not indicative
of the actual power draw or heat dissipation. Typical power draw is about 30% lower than the maximum value shown.
