STEPS TO ACTIVATE YOUR UNIVERSAL ACCOUNT NO.

(UAN)
PLEASE KEEP FOLLOWING WITH YOU AT THE TIME OF ACTIVATING YOUR UAN.
Mobile Handset.
Your latest Salary Slip.
Your UAN.
(IN CASE YOU HAVE ALREADY ACTIVATED YOUR UAN EARLIER, PLEASE DO NOT ACTIVATE AGAIN.)
Visit to website www.epfindia.gov.in through google chrome. You will find below screen.

Please double click on UAN Member e-Sewa under FOR EMPLOYEES section. After clicking you will find
below screen.

Please do not enter UAN and password in above screen and double click Activate your UAN. After
clicking you will find below screen.

Click the check-box in above screen (i.e. tick mark should appear in the check box). After clicking the
check box you will find below screen.

Please enter the relevant information in above screen as mentioned below.

Enter your UAN number against Enter your Universal Account Number.
Enter your Mobile Number (without 0 or +91) against Enter Your Mobile Number.
Select State as GUJARAT.
Select Office as VADODARA.
Now out of the 5 boxes below state, enter 68147 in 3rd box. (Do not change anything in first
two boxes).
Do not type anything in 4th box.
Type your PF account no. (i.e. the number appearing after VD/68147/ in your latest salary slip)
in 5th box.
Below the five boxes, some characters will be displayed in a text box. Type these characters as
it is in the blank text box on the right side.
Click GET PIN button. After clicking the GET PIN button, you will receive SMS on your mobile
mentioning PIN number.
After receiving PIN number on your mobile, click the check box below the GET PIN button (Tick
mark should appear in the check box).
Enter the PIN number received through SMS against Enter Authorizatiion PIN and double
click SUBMIT button. After clicking SUBMIT button you will find below screen.

Your name will be displayed in above screen. Please check your name. (In Above screen shot Name is
displayed for illustration)
Please also check that Establishment Name should be SUN PHARMA LABORATORIES LTD.
Enter relevant information in above screen as mentioned below.
Enter your Father Name against Father / Husband Name.
Enter your date of birth against Date of Birth.
Click on the check box
Enter password against Password. (Your password should be minimum 8 characters & maximum
25 characters and must contain at least one alphabet, one number and one special character)
Reenter your password against Confirm Password.
Enter your personal e-mail id against Email id (in case you have personal e-mail id).
Now click the SUBMIT button on screen. After clicking the submit button you will receive confirmation
sms on your mobile.
