About SA T-TEP
SA T-TEP Program is developed by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) India, under One of Toyotas
main guiding principles is to contribute to the social and economic development of the community
which we operate in. With this guiding principle, T-TEP that is the Toyota Technical Education
Program has the objective of developing best Human Resources for the Automotive Service Industry
through training and development.
TKM is Joint Venture collaboration between Toyota Motor Corporation, a Corporation incorporated
under the laws of Japan and Kirloskar Systems Limited, a Indian Company and is involved in the
manufacture of the state of technology automobiles.
Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan (TMC) as a part of its global Corporate Image and Business
Policy, conducts programs on various aspects of automobile manufacturing and servicing
(
Toyota Technical Education Program / T-TEP) to the worldwide student community undergoing
certain specified and government recognized technical courses.
TKM is authorized by TMC to implement and conduct and impart T-TEP to selected students
undergoing the Diploma in Automobile Engineering in certain selected Technical / Industrial
Training Institutions in India that are recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education or any
other equivalent or appropriate board or authority.
The SA T-TEP, a 1 year syllabus, introduces students to Toyotas advanced technology and service
techniques. It also includes, on-the-job training, at Toyotas dealerships.
World class Hi-Tech Training Tools & Equipment has been provided by TKM.
Separate Workshop along with Training Room has been established by LJ Polytechnic & TKM
(Toyota Kirloskar Motor) as per Toyota Standards.
Inauguration Ceremony
Guests started arriving from 10 am to 10:25 am, gathered at LJK Conference Room and took light
refreshment. Including Mr. Mahesh N. Salkar; Senior Vice-President- CSG, Toyota Kirloskar

At 10:25, Guests moved to inaugurate SA T-TEP Workshop. Mr. Harkesh Mittal; Advisor & Head,
National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board also joined.
They unveiled the stone by removing curtain, and then cut tape. After that Mr. Atul W. Dabak
explained the training equipment and material to the guests.
After workshop inauguration, they moved for sapling of plants. Then they gathered for Group Photo.
In group photo, 20 trainees also joined, who are going to be trained as service advisors.
Dr. Manish Shah gave Tulsi Pots to Mr. Mahesh N. Salkar and Mr. B. Padmanabha.
Mr. Mahesh Kella gave Tulsi Pots to Mr. Ajit Mehta and Mr. Neeraj Sharma.
From LJK, Dr. Manish Shah welcomed all guests and gave some brief introduction about LJK.

After closing ceremony, all guests visited LJP Technical Exhibition, where more than 75
Projects/Models were showcased by more than 300 Students.
Students became very motivated with the presence of all these guests.
Whole event covered by various TV Channels and Newspapers.
Over all it was wonderful event, managed by both Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) and LJ
Polytechnic (LJP).
Both the organizations confirmed to prepare youth with technical as well as soft skills to fulfill
corporate social responsibilities.

More than 80 Technical Projects/Models and Technical Posters were showcased by the Students of
LJ Polytechnic of various disciplines; Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Architecture.

Mr. Harkesh Mittal visited all projects. He interacted and motivated participants for their effort and
hardworking. At the end of his visit, he gave his speech. He was very impressed.
Dr. P. K. Mehta gave Shawl and Memento to Mr. Harkesh Mittal.

More than 4000 visitors including students & faculties of different colleges, parents, professionals,
and engineers visited the exhibition.
Technical Projects/Models have also evaluated, motivated and encouraged by Industrialists Mr. J. S.
Pandey; Research Fellow, ISRO, Mr. Elesh Patel; Manager, TCS, Mr. Bipin Gajjar; MD, Central
Engineering, Mr. Dushyant Bhatt; Amitech Catalic Converter, Mr. Khushru Hawa; Newyork
Municipal Corporation.
Participants explained their projects/models nicely. Every visitor was getting proper information
about projects/models.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes for each branch have been announced by Mahesh Kumar Kella at the End of
Exhibition in the presence of all HODs, Faculties, Staff and Students.
The event was shown on various Television Channels; CNBC, TV9, GSTV, Sandesh TV and
Published in various Newspapers. Participants Interviews have been also shown in TV News.
Students became very much happy, motivated and encouraged after having such type of technical
event.
