Authored and implemented HR Fundamentals for Leaders training program. Used coaching, targeted staff training,

1994 1999
Devised processes for qualifying & analyzing insurance products allowing negotiation of lower rates and additional
services year over year. Negotiated more internal control of claims and increased settlement oversight resulting in
savings of more than $.5M over 5 years while increasing the breadth and depth of coverage & benefits.
Researched, wrote & presented paper to Congress on youth gang problems in Los Angeles. Researched historical
information; met with gang members to better understand gang and city issues. Results: Non-profit gang
organization received more than $300K in increased government revenues to continue gang avoidance efforts in Los
Angeles middle school programs.
