Short-circuit rating of a switchgear assembly is that of the lowestrated module in the assembly
IMPORTANT: When the switchgear asssembly includes only one
entrance module. select the interrupter switch with hinge end of switch
connected to the load side. When two or more entrance modules are
required. select interrupter switches with hinge end of switch connected
to source side.
IMPORTANT: Where two or more entrance modules containing interrupter switches with fuses are used, optional key interlocks must beordered
to guard against access to fuses unless all entrance switches are open.
Side-by-side bus-tie modules cannot be accommodated.
Applicable to bus interconnection between indoor back-to-back lineups.
Primary bus supplied by S&C. mounting angles, fused voltage
transformers with primary leads. current transformers. and associated
secondary wiring are available as listed in OPTIONAL FEATURES on pages
14 through 18. For electric utilities only, unfused voltage transformers
can also be accommodated.
