ANA & SSEA SERVICES SCA ELEMENT DESCRIPTIONS

Element 1 Project Management

The Project Management element covers the suppliers capability to manage
complex projects and also evaluates the qualification and experience of the
project managers. The assessment team will review records and validate
completed project management plans, including internal and external
communication, milestones & cost control. Also included within this
element is the key aspect of change control and how this is managed
through the life of the project
Element 2 Purchasing / Material & Supplier Management
The Purchasing section of this element covers execution of the purchasing
function. Material management in the warehouse is covered as is the
planning of inventory quantities and tracking needs. The supplier
management section covers the selection, risk analysis, and qualification
criteria for suppliers. The communication of supplier corrective actions and
improvement activity. Due to the nature of the industry special attention is
given to the management of outsourced activities and contracted labor
Element 3 Quality Systems / Document Control / Calibration / Tools
This element covers the specific area of tools and equipment used in the
installation, commissioning and maintenance processes. The system of
traceability between tools, engineers and where used will be investigated.
The Quality Systems & Management Responsibility section of this element
includes a review of items such as certification & customer satisfaction.
Element 4 Core Installation and Commissioning
This element covers the activities of site survey for E&I (engineering &
installation) work, installation, testing and commissioning. This includes
housekeeping at work site. The aspects of capability, experience, training,
quality of work and production of documentation will all be reviewed.

Element 5 Wireless Site Location and Construction Services

This element addresses the site location and acquisition for wireless tower
locations, the architecture and engineering activities for these locations,
and the construction work at these sites.
Element 6 On-Site Support Services
The element covers on-site technical support and maintenance and the
suppliers ability to provide on-site services. Coverage and location are
assessed as well as the management systems in place to monitor status and
progress of handling incidents.
Element 7 CSR & EH&S
The Environment, Health & Safety(EH&S) assessment covers the EH&S
policies, tracking of legislation and training. Processes around personal
protective equipment. Safety equipment and PPE maintenance is also
covered here. Included in the EH&S assessment is the Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) review. The CSR assessment reviews the social policy or
internal rules & enforcement of these policies.
Element 8 - Business Continuity Planning, Security, Training, HR
The Business Continuity Planning section covers the protection of
information. The security assessment covers physical and access security.
The assessment covers training and its records. The skills and training of
sub-contractors is included in this element.
