For ten years, the Williamson familys lavender farm has been wowing visitors with its lovely setting, shady vantage points
for picnicking and relaxing, an adorable playhouse for children and oh yes, a lavender field that paints the countryside
purple and perfumes the air in June and early July. Although the big bloom of lavender is early in the summer, lavender
does bloom sporadically through the fall. As available, each Farm Tour visitor will be allowed to pick a few stems of
lavender to take home. Over the past couple years we have added some other perennial cut flowers and boxes of fresh
herbs which will be available for purchase. The past winter we completely re-did the format of the lavender field and
added a gazebo in the center, which makes for the perfect setting for photos year round. Chances are youll find some
lavender treats, such as cupcakes and lavender lemonade and lavender-mint tea for sale under our big purple tent too.
During these ten years our farm shop has grown, from selling a few things from the front porch to a large shop filled with
high quality lavender products. Our farm made (and some made locally by friends and neighbors) lavender products
range from culinary items, lotions, candles, hand-sewn items, bath products, soaps, sachets and a bunch more. Stop in
and get a little holiday shopping done or just treat yourself! Lavender is known for promoting a sense of calm and reducing
stress thereby aiding in rest and sleep. And, it smells heavenly to boot!
