Dear 2014-2015 Youth Symphony Member,

Phoenix Youth Symphony will be ordering the girls concert clothes through a local company, Tuxedo Wholesaler. The Youth
Symphony girls wear a full length black knit dress that is ordered through PYS. There are three styles. All styles are princess line with
full flare, fitting ties and a 22 zipper and are machine washable. The price for the Youth Symphony concert dress is $62-$65
and includes taxes and shipping. Boys are responsible for purchasing or renting their own clothes black tuxedo (pants and coat),
white, long-sleeved, pleated tux shirt with wing-tip collar, black banded bow tie (no cummerbund).
If you do not return to the Youth Symphony for the 2015-16 season, you will have the option to sell your concert clothes, in good
condition, to PYS for $25. There is a limited number of used girls concert clothing available for purchase for $25. There will be a
dress buy-back/exchange table at the first few rehearsals. Please see the Youth Symphony committee for available sizes.
Please measure carefully. Clothes will be ordered following the September 10th rehearsal. Students will not be allowed to perform on
stage or be included in the group picture without proper concert attire.

Dress sizes are not standard, so do not attempt to order by your usual size. Special orders will only be submitted with
measurements supplied so do not submit your order without them. Include all measurements in inches.
Dresses do not come hemmed, so if you want to hem the dress, be sure to allow for this difference. Standard unhemmed
dress length is for up to 58. Add $7.50 for additional length (Long - 58-510 and Extra- Long -511-60 with shoes).
Standard sleeve length is 22 so if you want the sleeve to be at your wrist when playing, take into consideration the position
of your arm when doing so, as you may want to add more length.
