Open web browser (I will be using google chrome)

Type URL into the browser (www.storybird.com)
Click sign up for free button
It will ask how you plan to use storybird.com. As an
educator, etc.
5. Once a selection has been made, the program will ask for a
user name, email address and password.
6. After this has been done, the program will send your email
address a verification.
7. Once you have checked your email and verified your
account, storybird.com is ready to be used.
8. Go back to www.storybird.com, sign in using your email and
password.
9. Once you have signed in, it will prompt you to add your
students and create a new account. You can use this
element of the program if you wish.

If you are interested in simply reading a book, move the
mouse to the top of the screen where the words You, Studio,
Write, Read are listed. Click on the word Read.

When you have selected the read category, you can
choose to read stories or poetry.

You may also narrow selection of a book by clicking
selections within 5 given categories (explore, categories,
format, age, community stuff)

Clicking selections within these categories will pop up
books to match your selections.

Once you have narrowed your reading interests, select
a book.

Read the book

Once you have read the book, you may read it again or
go to the top of the page and hit the back arrow to choose
another book.

If you are interested in simply writing a book or poetry,
move the mouse to the top of the screen where the words
You, Studio, Write, Read are listed. Click on the word Write.

When you have selected the write category select a
picture.

Click on the blue box that says use this art

When the blue box has been clicked, a selection list will
come up. Select from the options poem, picture book or
longform book.

If you select poem, it pulls up the picture with random
words that can be maneuvered by the mouse.

If you select picture book or longform book, it pulls up
an avenue to make your own picture book. There is a page
to make a cover page and add more pages to the book.
There are also more pictures made available that can be
added to the story.

reading books and writing your own
books or poems.
In order to access storybird you first
need to open your internet browser.
I will be using google chrome.
Once you have opened your browser

When the site comes up, click sign
up for free button.
While signing up for an account, one
of the questions asked is How you
plan to use storybird?
After a selection has been made, it
