JUNIOR MONITORING ARCHITECT

Job mission:
As Junior Monitoring Architect, you will help the Monitoring Architect in the operational
management of several monitoring platforms, which are today based on Zenoss (Linux), SCOM
(Windows) and Nimsoft. You will perform a diverse range of system engineering tasks on different
operating systems, mainly Windows and Linux.
You will need to write short scripts to automate monitoring in the Python programming
language on Linux. Also, you will help in the project which is migrating all monitoring to Zenoss as a
single monitoring tool.

Candidates must possess:

2+ years in a similar position

Good knowledge of Microsoft & Linux Server OS

Linux operating systems (Debian, CentOS, Redhat Enterprise Linux)

Windows operating system (server)

Networking knowledge (ip, gateway, iptables, dns, ssh, nmap, tcpdump, snmp, syslog, ...)

Scripting experience (bash, python or perl)

Basic SQL query knowledge

Nice to have : Experience with Zenoss, Nagios, SCOM, Nimsoft or other monitoring software

Abilities required:

Excellent command of the English language

High capacity of working independently

Showing initiative, being pro-active

High sense of task ownership: follow up from A to Z

Interaction with our users to extract functional analysis

Coaching and training of junior developers
