The Corporate Interface team, a student run initiative, is the face of SIBM Pune in
the corporate world. The fundamental goal of the team is to conceptualize,
develop and execute events which supplement the institutes pedagogy. CIT
conducts guest lectures, management symposia and hosts various other
platforms to facilitate interactions with leaders from all walks of life thereby
helping the students foray into the dynamic world of the corporate.
Arcturus 2014- the Leadership Conclave, organized by CIT, aims to
enhance cognition through meaningful interaction with industry veterans along
with the opportunity to analyse the current business scenario and understand
how do businesses decide whether to collaborate or compete? Collaboration has
the potential to harness great minds globally but how easy is it to put self
interests aside and achieve shared objectives. With the opening up of Indian
markets to foreign players, were seeing the coming together of non-traditional
partners and embracing a new way forward towards achieving a common goal.
Keeping all this in mind, is competition sustainable or collaboration would be the
discipline of the future? At Arcturus visions are shared, concepts are explained
and the inception and actualization of ideas is encouraged.
The esteemed guest speakers at Arcturus 2014 are visionaries from
organizations that have made their mark and proved their competency in the
global business scenario.
