Existing packages can be updated

You can now modify an existing package with the latest updates, without having to build a complete
package again. For example, if you have a package that consists of two products and their updates,
you can now modify this package by adding the latest available updatesthe updates will be added to
the existing MSI or PKG file, without rebuilding the entire package. This feature helps you maintain
your packages more easily. For example, in this case, when an update for one of the products in the
package is available, you can simply replace the existing update in the package with the new update,
without having to create and maintain a new package.

Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition Release 2.1 Readme
Here is how this feature works:

1. In this release, when you create a new package, a package configuration file named
<package name>.aamee is created in the package folder.
2. If you subsequently want to update this package, in the Welcome screen, select the option Modify
Existing Package (this option has been added in this release).
3. When prompted, navigate to the package configuration file (named

<package name>.aamee) created in step 1.
4. In the Updates screen that appears, select the updates that you want to include in the package, and
then select Build.
Note: In the Updates screen, updates for components that are already part of the package that you are
modifying are checked by default and cannot be unchecked. If the updates shown on the screen for
these components are of a higher version than the ones currently in the package, the updates will be
packaged. That is, the latest updates for the components that are already in the package are always
packaged. You can optionally package updates for other components as well by selecting them in the
Updates screen.

Additional suites are supported

In addition to Creative Suite 5 and 5.5, you can now package the following suites with Adobe
Application Manager Enterprise Edition:
Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5
Adobe Technical Communication Suite 3.5
Adobe Acrobat X Suite
Note: Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition provides limited support for Adobe eLearning
Suite 2.5 and Adobe Acrobat X Suite. See the first two entries in the Known Issues section for the
limitations that apply to the packaging and deployment of products in the Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5
and Adobe Acrobat X Suite:

List of available updates can be filtered by product name(s)

While creating packages, you can now filter the list of updates by product names. This allows you to
view the updates only for the product names that you want.
To use this feature, type the name of the product in the search box in the updates screen. You can also
specify multiple products by specifying a comma-separated list of product names.

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin are supported
This release of Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition supports Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and
Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin.
Preferences for Welcome screen and Configure Package screen are saved
When you create a package, the options that you specify in the Welcome screen and the Configure
Package screen are saved. The next time you create a new package on the same machine, the options
you selected while creating the previous package are pre-populated in the corresponding fields.
The preferences are saved in the AAMEEPreferences.xml file. The location of the file is as follows:
Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Enterprise
Windows XP: %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Enterprise
Windows Vista and Windows 7: %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Enterprise

Packages can be created from multiple-disk inputs

In previous releases, you could not use multiple CDs or DVDs for providing product contentyou
had to merge the content from the CDs or DVDs to a product install folder.
In this release, you can use multiple CDs or DVDs (or their ISO or DMG mounted images) for
providing product content. Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition reads the content of the
first disk, and then prompts you to insert the next disk. Multiple disks that are inserted in different
disk drives are automatically detected. For example, if you provide media information through disk 1
and disk 2 in separate disk drives, Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition automatically
detects them and automatically reads content from disk 1 and then disk 2.
Note: The input from multiple-disks works only with CD or DVD disks, or with ISO or DMG
mounted images of these disks. If data is simply copied to a hard disk, network drive, USB drive, and
so on, merge the images in a product install folder as in the previous releases. For more information
on creating a product install folder, see the Deployment Guide.
Additional packages can be created in the same session

In the previous release, once you created a package, the session would end. To create a new package,
you had to launch Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition again. In this release, you can
continue to create more packages or update an existing package in the same session. Once you have
created a package, click the New Package button in the Summary screen to go back to the welcome
screen, from where you can create another package or update/modify an existing package.
Click the New Package button to continue creating or

updating packages in the same AAMEE session.
New Versions of Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition are detected

automatically
New versions of Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition are now detected automatically and a
dialog box is displayed asking if you want to download the new version. This way, you do not have to
manually check for and download new Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition versions.
ExceptionInfo.txt file with commands for installing exception payloads available for
Mac OS
Commands for installing the payloads in the Exceptions folder for Mac OS are available in the
ExceptionInfo.txt file, located in the Exceptions folder. The file was already available for the
Windows platform in the previous version.
Note: Detailed information on installing payloads in the Exceptions folder is available in the chapter
Installing Products in the Exceptions Folder of the Deployment Guide and in the knowledgebase
article on the subject.

Known Issues
The following issues are known to occur when using this version of Adobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition.
Problem: (Windows only) When you package Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 or Adobe Acrobat X Suite,
Adobe Presenter can be included in the package that is created and, if included, is also displayed
in the Summary screen. However, Adobe Presenter is not deployed when you deploy the MSI
package. No error message is displayed during deployment.
Workaround: None. As Adobe Presenter cannot be deployed, it is recommended that you do not
include Adobe Presenter when you package Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 or Adobe Acrobat X
Suite.
Problem: (Windows only) Deploying a package of Adobe Acrobat X Suite that also contains Adobe
Presenter requires client machines to have Microsoft PowerPoint installed. This problem does not
arise if Adobe Presenter is not included in the package.
Workaround: As Adobe Presenter cannot be deployed, it is recommended that you do not
include Adobe Presenter when you package Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Else, ensure that Microsoft
PowerPoint is installed on client machines before you deploy a package of Adobe Acrobat X
suite that also contains Adobe Presenter.

Problem: (Mac OS only) When creating a package through Adobe Application Manager Enterprise
Edition, if you select the "Disable Air Components in Package" option in the Configure Package
screen, AIR-based packages such as Adobe Community Help and Adobe Media Player are not
included in the package. This is required in certain scenarios, for example while performing an
ssh-based installation or for avoiding manual entry of proxy credentials. These packages are
copied in the Exceptions folder and you can install them separately on the client machines.
However, for a client machine that is running Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, the packages in the
Exceptions folder cannot be installed via ssh if no user is logged into the client machine.
Note: This issue occurs when client machines are running MAC OS X 10.7 Lion. Using an admin
machine running MAC OS 10.7 Lion does not affect the installation of the packages in the
Exceptions folder.
Workaround: For installing AIR-based packages from the Exceptions folder on a client machine
that is running MAC OS 10.7 X Lion, ensure that a user is logged in to the client machine when
you are installing the packages in the Exceptions folder.
Problem: (Windows only) When you deploy a package that contains Adobe Technical
Communication Suite 3.5, the following products, which are in the Exceptions folder, cannot be
installed (with one exception, noted below):
Adobe PDF Creation Add On 9 (AdobePDFCreationAddOn9_en_us)

Acrobat X contains a later version, so this package need not be installed after Acrobat X is
installed.
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (Microsoft_.NET3.0_x86)
This is no more required for Windows Vista and onwards. However, this package can be
installed for Windows XP 32-bit version.
Workaround: Not applicable.

Problem: (Mac OS only)
The command in the ExceptionInfo.txt file to install Adobe Air payload of CS5 for Mac OS has
an extra argument silent, which should not be present and because of which the command
cannot install the Adobe AIR payload for CS5 (see text in red at the end of the following
command)

Workaround: Use the following command instead (which does not have the argument silent
after the -silent parameter at the end):

Problem: After deploying Adobe Dreamweaver as part of the eLearning Suite 2.5, when
Dreamweaver is launched for the first time, Extension Manager also launches and displays EULA
for CourseBuilder for Dreamweaver CS5.5 Extension.
Workaround: none.
Problem: When Extension Manager is launched for the first time, an authentication prompt is
displayed.
Workaround: none.
Problem: After installing Adobe Dreamweaver Widget Browser, AIR End-User License Agreement
(EULA) is displayed on launch of AIR-based applications.
Workaround: none.
Problem: Once AIR components are successfully installed, trying to reinstall them might result in
failure.
Workaround: Once AIR components are successfully installed, do not try to reinstall them.
Problem: (Mac OS only) Package deployment through Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 fails in the
scenario where all of the following conditions exist:
the package name contains double-byte characters
the package is deployed in Run this task from the Task Server on this computer
mode
the OS is Mac OS X 10.5/10.7
no user is logged-in on the target machine.
Problem: (Mac OS only) Acrobat updater cannot be suppressed through AAMEE, if the machine has
Acrobat 10 previously installed (in which updater is un-suppressed) and running.
Workaround: none.
Problem: (Mac OS Only) If you install Adobe Acrobat 9 or Adobe Acrobat X using the snapshot
method of JAMF Casper Suite, installation of CS5/ CS5.5 package over it will fail.
Workaround: Acrobat X is available as a package for deployment. Therefore, deploy it through
the policy method or another Casper-supported method for package deployment.

For Acrobat 9, perform the following steps, after installing Acrobat 9 but before installing CS5 or
CS5.5:
1. Perform a backup of Profiles and Recommended folders available at
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
2. Delete the Profiles and the Recommended folders for which you performed backup in
step 1.
3. Install the CS5/CS5.5 package(s). On successful installation, symbolic links for Profiles
and Recommended are created at
Note: In some scenarios, CS5/CS5.5 package deployment might fail. In such cases, restore the
backup taken in step 1 to ensure that Acrobat functions correctly.
Problem: (Mac OS only): When updates are applied to Acrobat X installation after deployment,
Acrobat updater settings are lost.
Workaround: To re-enable suppression of Acrobat X, perform the steps as explained in the
Handling Feature Lockdown on Mac OS after Applying Updates section in the Deploying
Adobe Acrobat chapter of the Deployment Guide.
Problem: After installing in trial mode and later serializing with the Adobe Provisioning Toolkit
Enterprise Edition (APTEE), the first launch of certain products asks for Administrator
credentials.
Workaround: This occurs in Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, Adobe After Effects
CS5, and Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. When packaging these products, provide the serial numbers
during package creation.
Problem: Help gets launched in default browser instead of in Adobe Help client. (Mac OS)
Workaround: Ensure that Adobe Help is configured correctly on target machines after
deployment, by creating symbolic link using the following command as specified in the
Deployment Guide.
ln -s /Applications/Adobe/Adobe\ Help.app /Applications/Adobe\ Help.app
Problem: User preferences are not removed from the target machine on uninstall using Adobe
Application Manager Enterprise Edition package. (Windows/Mac OS)
Workaround: Remove user preferences manually.
Problem: Uninstall command is not available for un-installation of products in the "Exceptions"
folder, which are not installed via the deployment package created with Adobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)

Workaround: Remove these programs via Add or Remove Programs.

Problem: (Mac OS only): Registration and Update menu items for Adobe After Effects, Bridge, and
Device Central for CS5.5 are enabled, even though registration and Update were suppressed.
Workaround: none. However, on launching updates from these applications, user will be
notified that updates are suppressed. That is, although 'Updates' menu item is not disabled, update
functionality is still suppressed.
Problem: (Mac OS only) If the input media that contains the products to be packaged is corrupt, there
might be a problem for different Mac OS versions as follows:
Mac OS versions 10.1 through 10.6: No Mac OS error is displayed. The missing data is
skipped and the package is created. When you try to deploy the package subsequently, the
deployment might fail because of the missing data.
Mac OS version 10.7: A Mac OS error is displayed, which does not point out that the input
media might be corrupt.
For both the cases, the missing data is skipped and the package is created. When you try to
deploy the package subsequently, the deployment might fail because of the missing data.
Workaround: Use a functional (non-corrupt) copy of the input media.
Problem: There might be a problem in running Adobe After Effects, Adobe Encore, Adobe Premiere
Pro, and Adobe Soundbooth products if they are installed on a location that is different from the
location of other Adobe Creative Suite 5 products already installed. For example, if you install
Adobe Contribute at location "A" from the Adobe Creative Suite 5 media, Adobe Soundbooth
might not run if it is installed at location "B". (Windows/Mac OS)
Workaround: It is recommended that all products of Adobe Creative Suite 5 be installed at the same
location. The location can be the default location or a custom location.
Problem: (Windows only) If you are creating a package on a Windows machine using input media on
a disk, package building process will fail if the Save To location is a Mac OS shared folder.
Workaround: When creating a package from a Windows machine using input media on a disk,
do not save the package to a Mac OS shared folder.
Problem: (Mac OS only) On Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, if you try to uninstall Acrobat X Pro that was
deployed as part of a Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection package, Acrobat X Pro might not
uninstall correctly in some cases.
Workaround: None.

Problem: If two downloaded updates are of the same name, and are older than the version available
on the Adobe update server, a warning message that a more recent version is available is shown
only for one update. This happens even when the channel Ids of these updates are different. This
scenario can occur when you try to package updates of both the trial version and the retail version
of the same product in the same package.
Workaround: none.
Problem: In Mac OS, if the root directory of the booted volume is specified as the deployment target
when building a package, the installer will deploy to the default location. In Windows, if a drive
without a folder name is specified as the deployment target when building a package, installation
fails. A descriptive error is written to the Installer logs. (Mac OS/Windows)
Workaround: Provide an alternate location as the deployment target.
Problem: If Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition is running while a package is being
deployed, an error message is displayed: Some non-deployment workflow is running. Close it
before continuing. (Windows/Mac OS)
Workaround: Quit the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition before deploying a
package to a target system.
Problem: When you deploy through ARD in Mac OS version 10.6 (Snow Leopard), the deployment
fails if a user logs in or out or switches users during the ARD task. (Mac OS)
Workaround: Wait some time, then redeploy.
Problem: Registration and Update menu items for Adobe After Effects and DeviceCentral are
enabled, even though registration and update were suppressed. (Windows/Mac OS)
Workaround: Although the menu items are displayed as enabled, they do not initiate registration
or update operations.

Vous pouvez dsormais modifier un pack existant selon les dernires mises jour, sans avoir
recrer entirement un nouveau pack. Ainsi, si vous disposez dun pack constitu de deux produits
et de leurs mises jour, vous pouvez maintenant modifier ce pack en y ajoutant les dernires mises
jour disponibles ; celles-ci seront ajoutes au fichier MSI ou PKG existant, sans quil soit ncessaire
de recrer intgralement le pack. Grce cette fonctionnalit, il est plus facile de tenir vos packs
jour. Par exemple, dans ce cas, lorsquune mise jour est disponible pour lun des produits du pack,
il vous suffit de remplacer la mise jour existante par la nouvelle, sans avoir recrer et grer un
nouveau pack.

Voici comment cette fonctionnalit intervient :

1. Dans cette version, lorsque vous crez un pack, un fichier de configuration associ, nomm
<nom_pack>.aamee, est cr dans le dossier du pack.
2. Par la suite, si vous souhaitez mettre jour ce pack, il vous suffit de slectionner loption
Modifier un pack existant dans lcran Bienvenue (option ajoute dans cette version).
3. A linvite, accdez au fichier de configuration du pack (<nom_pack>.aamee) cr ltape 1.
4. Dans lcran Mises jour qui saffiche, slectionnez les mises jour que vous souhaitez inclure
dans le pack, puis cliquez sur Gnrer.
Remarque : dans lcran Mises jour, les mises jour des composants faisant dj partie du pack
en cours de modification sont slectionnes par dfaut et ne peuvent pas tre dslectionnes. Si les
mises jour affiches lcran pour ces composants correspondent une version ultrieure celles
figurant dj dans le pack, elles y sont ajoutes. En dautres termes, les dernires mises jour sont
toujours ajoutes au pack, mme si elles concernent des composants qui se trouvent dj dans le pack.
Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez galement y ajouter les mises jour dautres composants, en les
slectionnant dans lcran Mises jour.

Outre Creative Suite 5 et 5.5, vous pouvez dsormais ajouter les suites ci-aprs dans le pack, avec
Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition :
Remarque : Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition offre un support limit pour Adobe
eLearning Suite 2.5 et Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Reportez-vous aux deux premiers points de la section
Problmes connus pour connatre les restrictions applicables la cration de packs et au dploiement
de produits dans Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 et Adobe Acrobat X Suite :
Pour obtenir la liste des composants appartenant ces suites et connatre la configuration requise,
reportez-vous la section Suites prises en charge Composants et configuration requise.
Possibilit de filtrer la liste des mises jour disponibles par nom de produit
Lorsque vous crez un pack, vous pouvez dsormais filtrer la liste des mises jour par nom de
produit. Cela vous permet de voir uniquement les mises jour des produits qui vous intressent.
Pour utiliser cette fonctionnalit, saisissez le nom du produit dans la zone de recherche de lcran
Mises jour. Vous pouvez galement rechercher plusieurs produits en indiquant leurs noms
respectifs, spars par des virgules.

Avec les versions prcdentes, il ntait pas possible dutiliser plusieurs CD ou DVD pour accder au
contenu des produits ; vous deviez alors fusionner le contenu de tous les disques dans un dossier
dinstallation de produit.
Dans cette version, vous pouvez utiliser plusieurs CD ou DVD (ou leurs images ISO ou DMG) pour
accder au contenu des produits. Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition lit le contenu du

premier disque, puis du second disque.
Remarque : lutilisation des entres de plusieurs disques ne fonctionne quavec des CD et DVD, ou
avec les images ISO ou DMG de ces disques. Si les donnes sont simplement copies sur un disque
dur, un lecteur rseau, une cl USB, etc., fusionnez les images dans un dossier dinstallation de

Possibilit de crer des packs supplmentaires dans une mme session

Avec la version prcdente, une fois le pack cr, la session prenait fin immdiatement. Pour crer un
autre pack, vous deviez donc relancer Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition. Dans cette
version, vous pouvez poursuivre la cration dautres packs ou mettre jour un pack existant au cours
de la mme session. Une fois le pack cr, cliquez sur le bouton Nouveau pack de longlet Synthse
pour revenir lcran Bienvenue, partir duquel vous pouvez crer un autre pack ou mettre
jour/modifier un pack existant.

automatiquement dtectes ; une bote de dialogue apparat pour vous demander si vous souhaitez
tlcharger la nouvelle version. Ainsi, vous navez plus besoin de vrifier vous-mme sil existe de
nouvelles versions dAdobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition et de les tlcharger
manuellement.

Problmes connus
Les problmes suivants ont t identifis lors de lutilisation de cette version dAdobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition.
Problme : (Windows uniquement) lorsque vous crez un pack pour Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 ou
Adobe Acrobat X Suite, Adobe Presenter peut tre inclus dans le pack et, dans ce cas, figurer
galement dans lcran Synthse. Cependant, Adobe Presenter ne se dploie pas lors du
dploiement du pack MSI. Aucun message derreur ne saffiche lors du dploiement.
Solution : aucune. PuisquAdobe Presenter ne peut pas tre dploy, il est recommand de ne pas
linclure dans le pack Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 ou Adobe Acrobat X Suite.
Problme : (Windows uniquement) le dploiement dun pack Adobe Acrobat X Suite contenant
galement Adobe Presenter ncessite que Microsoft PowerPoint soit install sur les machines
client. Ce problme ne survient pas si Adobe Presenter nest pas inclus dans le pack.
Solution : puisquAdobe Presenter ne peut pas tre dploy, il est recommand de ne pas
linclure dans le pack Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Sinon, assurez-vous que Microsoft PowerPoint est
install sur les machines client avant de dployer un pack Adobe Acrobat X Suite contenant
galement Adobe Presenter.
Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) lorsque vous crez un pack laide dAdobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition, si vous cochez la case Dsactiver les composants Air dans le pack dans
lcran Configuration du pack, aucun des packs bass sur AIR (notamment Adobe Community
Help et Adobe Media Player) ne sera inclus dans le nouveau pack. Cette situation est ncessaire
dans certains cas, par exemple lorsque vous effectuez une installation SSH ou pour ne pas avoir
saisir manuellement les rfrences didentification du proxy. Ces packs sont copis dans le
dossier Exceptions ; vous pouvez les installer sparment sur les machines client.
Toutefois, pour une machine client excutant Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, les packs du dossier Exceptions
ne peuvent pas tre installs via SSH si aucun utilisateur nest connect la machine client.
Remarque : ce problme survient lorsque les machines client excutent Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
Lutilisation dune machine dadministrateur excutant Mac OS 10.7 Lion na pas dincidence
sur linstallation des packs du dossier Exceptions.
Solution : pour installer les packs AIR du dossier Exceptions sur une machine client excutant
Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, assurez-vous quun utilisateur est connect cette machine lorsque vous
procdez linstallation.
Problme : (Windows uniquement) lorsque vous dployez un pack contenant Adobe Technical
Communication Suite 3.5, les produits suivants, qui se trouvent dans le dossier Exceptions, ne
peuvent pas tre installs ( une exception prs, voir ci-dessous) :

Acrobat X contient une version plus rcente, donc il nest pas ncessaire dinstaller ce pack
aprs avoir install Acrobat X.
Ce composant nest plus requis pour Windows Vista et aprs. Nanmoins, ce pack peut tre
install pour la version 32 bits de Windows XP.
Solution : non applicable.

Problme : (Mac OS uniquement)
la commande du fichier ExceptionInfo.txt qui permet dinstaller la charge Adobe Air de CS5
pour Mac OS comporte un argument silent en trop, qui na pas lieu dtre et qui empche la
commande de procder linstallation (voir le texte en rouge la fin de la commande ci-dessous)
Solution : utilisez la commande ci-aprs la place (sans largument silent aprs le paramtre

Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) le dploiement de pack via Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 choue
lorsque toutes les conditions ci-dessous sont runies :
Le nom du pack contient des caractres double octet.
Le pack est dploy en mode Excuter cette tche depuis le serveur de tches sur cet
ordinateur .
Le systme dexploitation est un Mac OS X 10.5/10.7.
Aucun utilisateur nest connect la machine cible.
Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) il nest pas possible de supprimer le programme de mise jour
Acrobat via AAMEE si Acrobat 10 (qui comporte le programme de mise jour en question) est
install et en cours dexcution sur la machine utilise.
Solution : aucune.
Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) si vous installez Adobe Acrobat 9 ou Adobe Acrobat X laide de la
mthode dinstantan de JAMF Casper Suite, linstallation ultrieure du pack CS5/CS5.5 choue.
Solution : Acrobat X est disponible sous la forme dun pack de dploiement. Par consquent,
vous pouvez le dployer laide de la mthode de rgle ou dune autre mthode prise en charge
par Casper pour le dploiement de pack.

Pour Acrobat 9, effectuez la procdure suivante aprs avoir install Acrobat 9 et avant dinstaller
CS5 ou CS5.5 :
1. Effectuez une sauvegarde des dossiers Profiles et Recommended , disponibles sous
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles.
2. Supprimez les dossiers Profiles et Recommended sauvegards ltape 1.
3. Installez le ou les packs CS5/CS5.5. Une fois linstallation termine, des liens symboliques
pointant vers les dossiers Profiles et Recommended sont crs sous
Remarque : dans certains cas, le dploiement des packs CS5/CS5.5 peut chouer. Il vous suffit
alors de restaurer la sauvegarde effectue ltape 1 pour vous assurer quAcrobat fonctionne
correctement.
Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) lorsque des mises jour sont appliques linstallation
dAcrobat X aprs le dploiement, les paramtres du programme de mise jour Acrobat
sont perdus.
Solution : pour permettre nouveau la suppression dAcrobat X, effectuez la procdure dcrite
la section Grer le verrouillage des fonctionnalits sur Mac OS aprs avoir appliqu des mises
jour , dans le chapitre Dploiement dAdobe Acrobat du Guide de dploiement.
Problme : aprs avoir effectu linstallation en mode dvaluation puis demand un numro de srie
grce Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE), le premier lancement de
certains produits exige des informations didentification Administrateur.
Solution : ce problme survient dans Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, Adobe After
Effects CS5 et Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Lorsque vous crez le pack de ces produits, indiquez
leur numro de srie au moment de la cration.
Problme : laide se lance dans le navigateur par dfaut et non dans le client Adobe Help. (Mac OS)
Solution : vrifiez quAdobe Help est correctement configur sur les machines cibles aprs le
dploiement en crant un lien symbolique laide de la commande suivante, comme expliqu
dans le Guide de dploiement.
Problme : les prfrences utilisateur ne sont pas supprimes de la machine cible lors de la
dsinstallation avec le pack Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows/Mac OS)
Solution : supprimez manuellement les prfrences utilisateur.
Problme : la commande de dsinstallation nest pas disponible pour les produits du dossier
Exceptions , qui ne sont pas installs via le pack de dploiement cr avec Adobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)

Solution : supprimez ces programmes via la fentre Ajout/Suppression de programmes.

Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) les lments de menu Enregistrement et Mise jour dAdobe
After Effects, Bridge et Device Central pour CS5.5 sont activs, mme si lenregistrement et la
mise jour ont t supprims.
Solution : aucune. Nanmoins, sil lance des mises jour partir de ces applications,
lutilisateur sera inform que les mises jour ont t supprimes. En effet, mme si llment
de menu Mises jour nest pas dsactiv, la fonctionnalit de mise jour est quand mme
supprime.
Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) si le support dentre qui contient les produits intgrer dans le
pack est corrompu, un problme peut survenir sur les diffrentes versions de Mac OS, comme
dcrit ci-dessous :
Mac OS versions 10.1 10.6 : aucune erreur Mac OS napparat. Les donnes manquantes
sont ignores et le pack est cr. Par la suite, lorsque vous tentez de dployer le pack,
lopration peut chouer cause de ces donnes manquantes.
Mac OS version 10.7 : une erreur Mac OS saffiche, mais elle ne signale pas que le support
dentre est peut-tre corrompu.
Dans les deux cas, les donnes manquantes sont ignores et le pack est cr. Par la suite, lorsque
vous tentez de dployer le pack, lopration peut chouer cause de ces donnes manquantes.
Solution : utilisez une copie oprationnelle (non corrompue) du support dentre.
Problme : un problme peut survenir lors de lexcution des produits Adobe After Effects, Adobe
Encore, Adobe Premiere Pro et Adobe Soundbooth si ceux-ci sont installs dans un emplacement
diffrent de celui o sont dj installs les autres produits Adobe Creative Suite 5. Par exemple, si
vous installez Adobe Contribute dans lemplacement A du support Adobe Creative Suite 5,
Adobe Soundbooth risque de ne pas sexcuter sil est install dans lemplacement B .
(Windows/Mac OS)
Solution : il est recommand dinstaller tous les produits Adobe Creative Suite 5 dans le mme
emplacement. Il peut sagir dun emplacement par dfaut ou personnalis.
Problme : (Windows uniquement) si vous crez un pack sur une machine Windows avec un support
dentre sur disque, le processus de cration choue si lemplacement denregistrement
correspond un dossier partag Mac OS.
Solution : lorsque vous crez un pack partir dune machine Windows avec un support dentre
sur disque, nenregistrez pas le pack dans un dossier partag Mac OS.

Problme : (Mac OS uniquement) sous Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, si vous tentez de dsinstaller le logiciel
Acrobat X Pro, dploy dans le cadre dun pack Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection, il se peut
que la dsinstallation ne seffectue pas correctement.
Solution : aucune.
Problme : si deux mises jour tlcharges portent le mme nom et sont plus anciennes que la
version disponible sur le serveur de mise jour Adobe, un message davertissement indiquant
quil existe une version plus rcente napparat que pour une seule des deux mises jour. Cela se
produit mme si les identifiants de canal de ces mises jour sont diffrents. Un tel scnario peut
avoir lieu lorsque vous tentez de crer un pack contenant la fois les mises jour de la version
dvaluation et de la version commercialise du mme produit.
Solution : aucune.
Problme : sous Mac OS, si le rpertoire racine du volume damorage est dfini comme cible de
dploiement lors de la cration dun pack, le programme dinstallation effectue le dploiement
dans lemplacement par dfaut. Sous Windows, si un lecteur ne portant pas de nom de dossier est
spcifi en tant que cible de dploiement lors de la cration dun pack, linstallation choue. Une
description de lerreur est inscrite dans les journaux du programme dinstallation.
(Mac OS/Windows)
Solution : indiquez un autre emplacement comme cible de dploiement.
Problme : si Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition sexcute alors quun pack est en cours
de dploiement, un message derreur semblable au suivant saffiche : Un flux de travail externe
au dploiement est en cours dexcution. Fermez-le avant de poursuivre. (Windows/Mac OS)
Solution : fermez Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition avant de dployer le pack sur un
systme cible.
Problme : lorsque vous effectuez un dploiement via ARD sous Mac OS version 10.6 (Snow
Leopard), la procdure choue si un utilisateur ouvre une session, ferme une session ou se
connecte avec un autre nom dutilisateur pendant la tche ARD. (Mac OS)
Solution : attendez quelques instants, puis relancez le dploiement.
Problme : les lments de menu Enregistrement et Mise jour dAdobe After Effects et de

Updates besteht, knnen Sie jetzt das Paket ndern, indem Sie die neuesten verfgbaren Updates
hinzufgen. Die Updates werden der vorhandenen MSI- oder PKG-Datei hinzugefgt, ohne dass das
gesamte Paket neu erstellt wird. Mit dieser Funktion knnen Sie die Pakete leichter verwalten. Wenn
beispielsweise in diesem Fall ein Update fr eines der Produkte im Paket verfgbar ist, knnen Sie
einfach das im Paket vorhandene Update durch das neue Update ersetzen, ohne ein neues Paket

In dieser Version knnen Sie den Produktinhalt von mehreren CDs oder DVDs (oder den gemounteten
ISO- oder DMG-Images) bereitstellen. Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition liest den Inhalt
des ersten Datentrgers und fordert Sie dann auf, den nchsten Datentrger einzulegen. Wenn sich

bereitgestellt. Whrend der Bereitstellung wird keine Fehlermeldung angezeigt.
Problemumgehung: keine. Da Adobe Presenter nicht bereitgestellt werden kann, wird
empfohlen, Adobe Presenter nicht in das Paket aufzunehmen, wenn Sie Adobe eLearning Suite
2.5 oder Adobe Acrobat X Suite packen.
Problem: (Nur Windows) Zum Bereitstellen eines Pakets von Adobe Acrobat X Suite, das auerdem
Adobe Presenter enthlt, muss auf den Clientcomputern Microsoft PowerPoint installiert sein.
Dieses Problem tritt nicht auf, wenn Adobe Presenter nicht im Paket enthalten ist.
Problemumgehung: Da Adobe Presenter nicht bereitgestellt werden kann, wird empfohlen,
Adobe Presenter nicht in das Paket von Adobe Acrobat X Suite aufzunehmen. Stellen Sie
andernfalls sicher, dass Microsoft PowerPoint auf den Clientcomputern installiert ist, bevor Sie

deaktivieren whlen, werden AIR-basierte Pakete wie Adobe Community Help und Adobe
Media Player nicht in das Paket eingeschlossen. Dies kann in bestimmten Szenarios erforderlich
sein, beispielsweise beim Ausfhren einer SSH-basierten Installation oder zum Vermeiden der
manuellen Eingabe von Proxy-Anmeldeinformationen. Diese Pakete werden in den Ordner
Exceptions kopiert und Sie knnen sie separat auf den Clientcomputern installieren.
Auf einem Clientcomputer, auf dem Mac OS X 10.7 Lion ausgefhrt wird, knnen die Pakete
im Ordner Exceptions jedoch nicht ber SSH installiert werden, wenn kein Benutzer am
Clientcomputer angemeldet ist.
Hinweis: Dieses Problem tritt bei Clientcomputern auf, auf denen Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
ausgefhrt wird. Wenn Sie einen Administratorcomputer verwenden, auf dem Mac OS 10.7 Lion
ausgefhrt wird, beeintrchtigt dies die Installation der Pakete im Ordner Exceptions nicht.
Problemumgehung: Zum Installieren von AIR-basierten Paketen aus dem Ordner Exceptions
auf einem Clientcomputer, auf dem Mac OS 10.7 X Lion ausgefhrt wird, stellen Sie sicher,
dass hierbei ein Benutzer am Clientcomputer angemeldet ist.
Problem: (Nur Windows) Wenn Sie ein Paket bereitstellen, das Adobe Technical Communication
Suite 3.5 enthlt, knnen die folgenden Produkte im Ordner Exceptions nicht installiert werden
(mit einer Ausnahme, die weiter unten aufgefhrt wird):
Adobe PDF Creation Add-On 9 (AdobePDFCreationAddOn9_en_us)

Acrobat X enthlt eine hhere Version, daher muss dieses Paket nicht installiert werden,
nachdem Acrobat X installiert wurde.
Fr Windows Vista und hher nicht mehr erforderlich. Dieses Paket kann jedoch fr die 32Bit-Version von Windows XP installiert werden.
Problemumgehung: Nicht zutreffend.

Problem: (Nur Mac OS)
In der Datei ExceptionInfo.txt enthlt der Befehl zum Installieren der Adobe Air-Nutzdaten
von CS5 fr Mac OS das zustzliche Argument silent. Dieses sollte nicht im Befehl enthalten
sein, da es das Installieren der Adobe AIR-Nutzdaten fr CS5 verhindert (siehe den roten Text am
Ende des folgenden Befehls).
Problemumgehung: Verwenden Sie stattdessen den folgenden Befehl (der nicht am Ende das
Argument silent nach dem Parameter -silent enthlt):

Problem: Wenn nach dem Bereitstellen von Adobe Dreamweaver als Komponente von eLearning
Suite 2.5 Dreamweaver zum ersten Mal gestartet wird, wird auch Extension Manager gestartet
und der Endbenutzerlizenzvertrag (EULA) fr die CourseBuilder-Erweiterung fr Dreamweaver
CS5.5 wird angezeigt.
Problemumgehung: keine.
Problem: Beim ersten Starten von Extension Manager wird eine Authentifizierungsaufforderung
angezeigt.
Problem: Nach dem Installieren von Adobe Dreamweaver Widget Browser wird beim Starten von
AIR-basierten Anwendungen der Endbenutzerlizenzvertrag (EULA) fr AIR angezeigt.
Problem: Wenn nach der erfolgreichen Installation von AIR-Komponenten versucht wird, diese neu
zu installieren, tritt mglicherweise ein Fehler auf.
Problemumgehung: Nachdem AIR-Komponenten erfolgreich installiert wurden, installieren Sie
diese nicht neu.
Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Die Paketbereitstellung ber Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 schlgt in einem
Szenario fehl, in dem alle folgenden Bedingungen erfllt sind:
das Paket enthlt Doppelbytezeichen,
das Paket wird im Modus Diesen Vorgang ausfhren von: Dem Task-Server auf
diesem Computer bereitgestellt,

Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Der Acrobat Updater kann nicht ber AAMEE unterdrckt werden, wenn
auf dem Computer bereits Acrobat 10 (mit nicht unterdrcktem Updater) installiert wurde und
ausgefhrt wird.

Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Wenn Sie Adobe Acrobat 9 oder Adobe Acrobat X mit der
Schnappschussmethode von JAMF Casper Suite installieren, schlgt die anschlieende
Installation des CS5-/CS5.5-Pakets fehl.
Problemumgehung: Acrobat X ist als Paket fr die Bereitstellung verfgbar. Stellen Sie daher
Acrobat X mit der Richtlinienmethode oder einer anderen von Casper untersttzten Methode fr
die Paketbereitstellung bereit.
Fhren Sie fr Acrobat 9 die folgenden Schritte aus, nachdem Sie Acrobat 9 installiert haben,
jedoch bevor Sie CS5 oder CS5.5 installieren:
1. Erstellen Sie eine Sicherungskopie der Ordner Profiles und Recommended, die sich unter
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles befinden.
2. Lschen Sie die Ordner Profiles und Recommended, fr die Sie in Schritt 1 eine
Sicherungskopie erstellt haben.
3. Installieren Sie die CS5-/CS5.5-Pakete. Nach der erfolgreichen Installation werden unter
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles symbolische Verknpfungen fr Profiles und Recommended

Problem: (Nur Mac OS): Wenn nach der Bereitstellung Updates auf die Installation von Acrobat X
angewendet werden, gehen die Einstellungen fr den Acrobat Updater verloren.
Problemumgehung: Um die Unterdrckung von Acrobat X erneut zu aktivieren, fhren Sie die
Schritte aus, die im Abschnitt Behandeln der Sperrfunktion unter Mac OS nach dem Anwenden
von Updates des Kapitels Bereitstellen von Adobe Acrobat im Handbuch zur Bereitstellung
beschrieben werden.
Problem: Nach der Installation im Testmodus und dem spteren Serialisieren mit dem Adobe
Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE) werden Sie beim ersten Start bestimmter
Produkte zur Eingabe von Administratoranmeldeinformationen aufgefordert.
Problemumgehung: Dieses Problem tritt in Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, Adobe
After Effects CS5 und Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 auf. Geben Sie beim Packen dieser Produkte
whrend der Paketerstellung die Seriennummern an.
Problem: Die Hilfe wird im Standardbrowser statt im Adobe Help-Client gestartet. (Mac OS)
Problemumgehung: Stellen Sie nach der Bereitstellung sicher, dass Adobe Help auf den
Zielcomputern ordnungsgem konfiguriert ist. Erstellen Sie dazu mit dem folgenden Befehl eine
symbolische Verknpfung, wie im Handbuch zur Bereitstellung beschrieben.

Problem: Benutzereinstellungen werden bei der Deinstallation mit dem Adobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition-Paket nicht vom Zielcomputer entfernt. (Windows/Mac OS)
Problemumgehung: Entfernen Sie die Benutzereinstellungen manuell.
Problem: Der Befehl fr die Deinstallation ist zum Deinstallieren von Produkten im Ordner
Exceptions nicht verfgbar, die ber das mit Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition
erstellte Bereitstellungspaket installiert wurden. (Windows)
Problemumgehung: Entfernen Sie diese Programme ber Software.
Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Die Menelemente Registrierung und Update fr Adobe After Effects,
Bridge und Device Central CS5.5 sind aktiviert, auch wenn Registrierung und Update unterdrckt
wurden.
Problemumgehung: keine. Die Benutzer werden jedoch beim Starten von Updates in diesen
Anwendungen benachrichtigt, dass Updates unterdrckt werden. Das heit, dass die
Updatefunktion unterdrckt wird, obwohl das Menelement Updates nicht deaktiviert ist.
Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Wenn das Eingabemedium, das die zu packenden Produkte enthlt,
beschdigt ist, kann ein Problem auftreten, das sich je nach Mac OS-Version unterscheidet:
Mac OS, Version 10.1 bis 10.6: Es wird kein Mac OS-Fehler angezeigt. Die fehlenden
Daten werden bersprungen und das Paket wird erstellt. Wenn Sie anschlieend versuchen,
das Paket bereitzustellen, schlgt die Bereitstellung aufgrund der fehlenden Daten
mglicherweise fehl.
Mac OS, Version 10.7: Es wird ein Mac OS-Fehler angezeigt, wobei nicht angegeben wird,
dass das Eingabemedium mglicherweise beschdigt ist.
In beiden Fllen werden die fehlenden Daten bersprungen und das Paket wird erstellt. Wenn Sie
anschlieend versuchen, das Paket bereitzustellen, schlgt die Bereitstellung aufgrund der
fehlenden Daten mglicherweise fehl.
Problemumgehung: Verwenden Sie eine funktionsfhige (nicht beschdigte) Kopie des
Eingabemediums.
Problem: Beim Ausfhren der Produkte Adobe After Effects, Adobe Encore, Adobe Premiere Pro
und Adobe Soundbooth kann ein Problem auftreten, wenn die Produkte an einem anderen
Speicherort als dem Speicherort installiert werden, an dem andere Adobe Creative Suite 5Produkte bereits installiert sind. Wenn Sie beispielsweise Adobe Contribute vom Adobe Creative
Suite 5-Medium an Speicherort A installieren und Adobe Soundbooth an Speicherort B
installieren, wird Adobe Soundbooth eventuell nicht ausgefhrt. (Windows/Mac OS)

Speicherort zu installieren. Dabei kann es sich um den Standardspeicherort oder einen

Problem: (Nur Windows) Wenn Sie ein Paket auf einem Windows-Computer mithilfe von
Eingabemedien auf einer Festplatte erstellen, schlgt der Paketerstellungsprozess fehl, wenn der
Speicherort ein freigegebener Ordner auf Mac OS ist.
Problemumgehung: Wenn Sie ein Paket auf einem Windows-Computer mithilfe von
Eingabemedien auf einer Festplatte erstellen, speichern Sie das Paket nicht in einem
freigegebenen Ordner auf Mac OS.
Problem: (Nur Mac OS) Wenn Sie unter Mac OS X 10.7 Lion versuchen, Acrobat X Pro zu
deinstallieren, das als Teil eines Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection-Pakets bereitgestellt wurde,
wird Acrobat X Pro in einigen Fllen mglicherweise nicht ordnungsgem deinstalliert.
Problem: Wenn zwei heruntergeladene Updates den gleichen Namen aufweisen und lter als die auf
dem Adobe-Updateserver verfgbare Version sind, wird nur fr ein Update eine Warnmeldung
mit dem Hinweis angezeigt, dass eine neuere Version verfgbar ist. Dies geschieht auch, wenn
die Kanal-IDs dieser Updates unterschiedlich sind. Dieser Fall kann auftreten, wenn Sie
versuchen, ein Update der Testversion und der Einzelhandelsversion des gleichen Produkts in
demselben Paket zu packen.
Problem: Wenn in Mac OS beim Erstellen eines Pakets das Stammverzeichnis des Startvolumes als
Bereitstellungsziel angegeben wird, fhrt das Installationsprogramm die Bereitstellung am
Standardspeicherort durch. Wenn unter Windows beim Erstellen eines Pakets ein Laufwerk ohne
Ordnernamen als Bereitstellungsziel angegeben wird, tritt bei der Installation ein Fehler auf. In
die Protokolle des Installationsprogramms wird ein Fehler mit Beschreibung geschrieben. (Mac

Bestaande pakketten kunnen worden bijgewerkt

U kunt nu een bestaand pakket aanpassen met de nieuwste updates zonder dat u een volledig
nieuw pakket hoeft samen te stellen. Als u bijvoorbeeld een pakket gebruikt dat twee producten
en de bijbehorende updates bevat, kunt u dit pakket aanpassen door de nieuwste updates die
beschikbaar zijn, toe te voegen aan het pakket. De updates worden dan toegevoegd aan het
bestaande msi- of pkg-bestand zonder dat u het volledige pakket opnieuw moet samenstellen.
Met deze functie kunt u uw pakketten eenvoudiger beheren. Als in dit geval bijvoorbeeld een
update voor een van de producten beschikbaar is, kunt u de bestaande update in het pakket gewoon
vervangen door de nieuwe update zonder dat u een nieuw pakket hoeft te maken en te beheren.

Deze functie werkt als volgt:

1. Als u een nieuw pakket maakt in deze versie, wordt een configuratiebestand voor het pakket
met de naam <pakketnaam>.aamee gemaakt in de pakketmap.
2. Als u vervolgens dit pakket wilt bijwerken, selecteert u in het welkomstscherm de optie
Bestaand pakket wijzigen (deze optie is toegevoegd aan deze versie).
3. Blader als u hierom wordt gevraagd naar het configuratiebestand voor het pakket
(met de naam <pakketnaam>.aamee) dat u hebt gemaakt in stap 1.
4. Selecteer in het scherm Updates dat verschijnt de gewenste updates en kies vervolgens
Samenstellen.
Opmerking: In het scherm Updates zijn standaard de updates ingeschakeld voor componenten in die
al deel uitmaken van het pakket dat u wijzigt. U kunt deze updates niet uitschakelen.
Als de weergeven updates voor deze componenten een hogere versie hebben dan de huidige updates
in het pakket, worden de updates verpakt. Hierdoor worden altijd de nieuwste updates voor de
componenten in het pakket toegevoegd. U kunt desgewenst ook updates voor andere componenten
verpakken door de updates te selecteren in het scherm Updates.

Extra suites worden ondersteund

Met Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition kunt u naast Creative Suite 5 en 5.5 nu ook
de volgende suites verpakken:
Opmerking: Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition biedt beperkte ondersteuning

voor Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 en Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Lees de eerste twee items in de
sectie Bekende problemen voor informatie over de beperkingen bij het verpakken en distribueren
van Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5- en Adobe Acrobat X Suite-producten:

Lijst met beschikbare updates kan worden gefilterd op productnamen

Tijdens het maken van pakketten kunt u nu de lijst met updates filteren op productnaam.
Zo kunt u alleen de updates weergeven voor de gewenste producten.
Als u deze functie wilt gebruiken, typt u de naam van het product in het zoekvak in het scherm
met updates. U kunt ook namen voor meerdere producten opgeven in een lijst met door kommas
gescheiden waarden.
Filteren op productnaam
Raadpleeg de sectie Distributiepakketten maken in het hoofdstuk Adobe Application Manager

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion en Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin worden ondersteund
Deze versie van Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition ondersteunt Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
en Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin.
Voorkeuren voor welkomstscherm en scherm Pakket configureren worden opgeslagen

Wanneer u een pakket maakt, worden de opties die u opgeeft in het welkomstscherm en het scherm
Pakket configureren, opgeslagen. De volgende keer dat u een nieuw pakket maakt op dezelfde
computer, zijn de opties die u hebt geselecteerd bij het maken van het vorige pakket al ingevuld
in de overeenkomende velden.
De voorkeuren worden opgeslagen in het bestand AAMEEPreferences.xml. Het bestand bevindt
zich op de volgende locatie:

Pakketten kunnen worden gemaakt vanaf meerdere invoerschijven

In eerdere versies was het niet mogelijk om meerdere cds of dvds te gebruiken voor het leveren
van de productinhoud: de inhoud van de cds of dvds moest worden samengevoegd in een
productinstallatiemap.
In deze versie kunt u meerdere cds of dvds (of de iso-images of gekoppelde dmg-images van de cds
of dvds) gebruiken voor het leveren van de productinhoud. Adobe Application Manager Enterprise
Edition leest de inhoud van de eerste schijf waarna u wordt gevraagd om de volgende schijf te
plaatsen. Meerdere schijven die in verschillende schijfstations zijn geplaatst, worden automatisch
gedetecteerd. Als u bijvoorbeeld de mediagegevens levert via schijf 1 en schijf 2 die in verschillende
stations zijn geplaatst, worden de schijven automatisch gedetecteerd en leest Adobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition automatisch eerst de inhoud van schijf 1 en vervolgens die van schijf 2.
Opmerking: De invoer vanaf meerdere schijven werkt alleen met cds of dvds of de iso-images
of gekoppelde dmg-images van deze schijven. Als de gegevens zijn gekopieerd naar een vaste schijf,
netwerkstation, USB-station enzovoort, moet u de images samenvoegen in een productinstallatiemap,
net als in de vorige versies. Raadpleeg de handleiding voor distributie voor meer informatie over het
maken van een productinstallatiemap.
Tijdens dezelfde sessie kunnen extra pakketten worden gemaakt

In de vorige versie werd een sessie beindigd nadat u het pakket had gemaakt. Als u een nieuw
pakket wilde maken, moest u Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition opnieuw starten.
In deze versie kunt u tijdens dezelfde sessie meerdere pakketten maken of een bestaand pakket
bijwerken. Nadat u een pakket hebt gemaakt, klikt u op de knop Nieuw pakket in het
samenvattingsscherm om terug te gaan naar het welkomstscherm. Hier kunt u vervolgens
nog een pakket maken of een bestaand pakket bijwerken of wijzigen.
Klik op de knop Nieuw pakket om door te gaan met het maken

of bijwerken van pakketten tijdens dezelfde AAMEE-sessie.
Nieuwe versies van Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition worden

automatisch gedetecteerd
Nieuwe versies van Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition worden nu automatisch
gedetecteerd en er wordt een dialoogvenster weergegeven waarin u moet aangeven of u de nieuwe
versie wilt downloaden. Zo hoeft u niet meer handmatig te controleren op nieuwe versies van
Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition en de versies te downloaden.
Het bestand ExceptionsInfo.txt met installatieopdrachten voor uitzonderingspayloads

is beschikbaar voor Mac OS
Opdrachten voor het installeren van de payloads in de map Exceptions voor Mac OS zijn beschikbaar
in het bestand ExceptionsInfo.txt dat zich in de map Exceptions bevindt. Dit bestand was in de vorige
versie al beschikbaar voor het Windows-platform.
Opmerking: Gedetailleerde informatie over het installeren van payloads in de map Exceptions vindt
u in het hoofdstuk Producten in de map Exceptions installeren van de handleiding voor distributie

Bekende problemen
De volgende bekende problemen kunnen zich voordoen als u deze versie van Adobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition gebruikt.
Probleem: (Alleen Windows) Als u Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 of Adobe Acrobat X Suite verpakt,
kunt u Adobe Presenter opnemen in het pakket dat u maakt. In dat geval wordt de component ook
vermeld in het venster Samenvatting. Adobe Presenter wordt echter niet gedistribueerd wanneer
u het msi-pakket distribueert. Tijdens de distributie wordt geen foutbericht weergegeven.
Oplossing: geen. Omdat Adobe Presenter niet kan worden gedistribueerd, kunt u deze component
beter niet opnemen wanneer u Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 of Adobe Acrobat X Suite verpakt.
Probleem: (Alleen Windows) Als u een pakket voor Adobe Acrobat X Suite distribueert dat
Adobe Presenter bevat, moet op de clientcomputers Microsoft PowerPoint zijn genstalleerd.
Dit probleem doet zich niet voor als u Adobe Presenter niet opneemt in het pakket.
Oplossing: omdat Adobe Presenter niet kan worden gedistribueerd, kunt u deze component
beter niet opnemen wanneer u Adobe Acrobat X Suite verpakt. Zorg anders ervoor dat
Microsoft PowerPoint is genstalleerd op de clientcomputers voordat u een pakket voor
Adobe Acrobat X Suite met Adobe Presenter distribueert.
Probleem: (alleen Mac OS) Als u een pakket maakt met Adobe Application Manager Enterprise
Edition en de optie AIR-componenten uitschakelen in pakket in het venster Pakket configureren
selecteert, worden AIR-pakketten zoals Adobe Community Help en Adobe Media Player niet
opgenomen in het pakket. Dit is vereist voor bepaalde situaties, bijvoorbeeld als u een installatie
op basis van SSH uitvoert of als u wilt voorkomen dat proxyreferenties handmatig worden

ingevoerd. Deze pakketten worden naar de map Exceptions gekopieerd en u kunt ze afzonderlijk
installeren op de clientcomputers.
U kunt de pakketten in de map Exceptions echter niet via SSH installeren op een clientcomputer
met Mac OS X 10.7 Lion als er geen gebruiker is aangemeld op de clientcomputer.
Opmerking: Dit probleem doet zich voor op clientcomputers met MAC OS X 10.7 Lion.
Als u een beheercomputer met MAC OS 10.7 Lion gebruikt, heeft dit geen invloed op de
pakketten in de map Exceptions.
Oplossing: zorg dat een gebruiker is aangemeld op een clientcomputer met MAC OS 10.7 X Lion
als u de AIR-pakketten in de map Exceptions wilt installeren op de clientcomputer.
Probleem: (Alleen Windows) Wanneer u een pakket met Adobe Technical Communication Suite 3.5
distribueert, kunnen de volgende producten uit de map Exceptions niet worden genstalleerd
(met n uitzondering die hieronder is aangegeven):
Adobe-invoegtoepassing voor het maken van PDF-bestanden 9

(AdobePDFCreationAddOn9_en_us)
Acrobat X bevat een nieuwere versie, dus u hoeft dit pakket niet te installeren nadat
u Acrobat X hebt genstalleerd.
Dit is niet meer vereist voor Windows Vista en hogere versies. U kunt dit pakket echter
wel installeren voor 32-bits versies van Windows XP.
Oplossing: niet van toepassing.

Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS)
De opdracht in het bestand ExceptionInfo.txt voor installatie van de Adobe AIR-payload van
CS5 voor Mac OS bevat een extra argument silent dat niet aanwezig moet zijn en waardoor
de payload niet kan worden genstalleerd met de opdracht (zie de rode tekst aan het einde van
de volgende opdracht).
Oplossing: gebruik in plaats hiervan de volgende opdracht (waarin het argument silent niet
volgt op de parameter -silent):
Probleem: nadat Adobe Dreamweaver is gedistribueerd als onderdeel van eLearning Suite 2.5,
wordt tijdens de eerste keer dat Dreamweaver wordt gestart tevens Extension Manager gestart

en wordt de EULA (licentieovereenkomst voor eindgebruikers) van de CourseBuilder-extensie

voor Dreamweaver CS5.5 weergegeven.
Oplossing: geen.
Probleem: wanneer Extension Manager voor de eerste keer wordt gestart, wordt een verificatieprompt
weergegeven.
Oplossing: geen.
Probleem: na installatie van Adobe Dreamweaver Widgetbrowser, wordt de licentieovereenkomst
voor eindgebruikers (EULA) van AIR weergegeven als AIR-toepassingen worden gestart.
Oplossing: geen.
Probleem: nadat AIR-componenten zijn genstalleerd, kunnen er fouten optreden als u de componenten
opnieuw installeert.
Oplossing: nadat de AIR-componenten zijn genstalleerd, moet u deze niet opnieuw installeren.
Probleem: (alleen Mac OS) distributie van een pakket via Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 mislukt in de
situatie waarbij de volgende omstandigheden van toepassing zijn:
De pakketnaam bevat dubbel-bytetekens.
Het pakket wordt gedistribueerd in de modus Run this task from: Task Server on this
computer.
Het besturingssysteem is Mac OS X 10.5/10.7.
Er is geen gebruiker aangemeld bij de doelcomputer.
Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) de updatefunctie van Acrobat kan niet worden onderdrukt via AAMEE
als eerder op de computer Acrobat 10 is genstalleerd (waarin de updatefunctie niet is onderdrukt)
en wordt uitgevoerd.
Oplossing: geen.
Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) als u Adobe Acrobat 9 of Adobe Acrobat X met de snapshotmethode
of JAMF Casper Suite installeert, treden er fouten op als u het CS5-/CS5.5-pakket hier overheen
installeert.
Oplossing: Acrobat X is beschikbaar als pakket voor distributie. Distribueer deze toepassing
daarom via de beleidsmethode of een andere door Casper ondersteunde methode voor distributie
van pakketten.
Voer voor Acrobat 9 de volgende stappen uit nadat u Acrobat 9 hebt genstalleerd, maar voordat
u CS5 of CS5.5 installeert:

1. Maak een back-up van de mappen Profiles en Recommended die beschikbaar zijn
bij /Library/ColorSync/Profiles
2. Verwijder de mappen Profiles en Recommended waarvoor u in stap 1 een back-up
hebt gemaakt
3. Installeer de betreffende CS5-/CS5.5-pakketten. Nadat de installatie is voltooid,
zijn symbolische koppelingen voor Profiles en Recommended beschikbaar bij
Opmerking: In sommige gevallen mislukt de distributie van het CS5-/CS5.5-pakket.
Herstel in dergelijke gevallen de back-up die u hebt gemaakt in stap 1 om ervoor te zorgen
dat de Acrobat-functies correct werken.
Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) wanneer na distributie updates worden toegepast op de Acrobat Xinstallatie, gaan de instellingen voor de updatefunctie van Acrobat verloren.
Oplossing: als u het onderdrukken van Acrobat X opnieuw wilt inschakelen, moet u de procedure
volgen die is beschreven in de sectie Functievergrendeling verwerken in Mac OS na toepassen
van updates van het hoofdstuk Adobe Acrobat distribueren in de handleiding voor distributie.
Probleem: nadat u proefversies van bepaalde producten hebt genstalleerd en hiervoor met Adobe
Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE) een serienummer hebt opgegeven, wordt om
beheerdersreferenties gevraagd wanneer deze producten voor de eerste keer worden gestart.
Oplossing: dit probleem doet zich voor bij Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, Adobe
After Effects CS5 en Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Wanneer u deze producten verpakt, moet u het
serienummer opgeven tijdens het maken van het pakket.
Probleem: Help wordt gestart in de standaardbrowser in plaats van in de Adobe Help-client. (Mac OS)
Oplossing: zorg dat Adobe Help na distributie correct is geconfigureerd op de doelcomputers
door een symlink (symbolische koppeling) te maken met de volgende opdracht, zoals aangegeven
in de handleiding voor distributie.
Probleem: gebruikersvoorkeuren worden niet verwijderd van de doelcomputer wanneer de

verwijdering wordt uitgevoerd met het Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition-pakket.
(Windows/Mac OS)
Oplossing: verwijder de gebruikersvoorkeuren handmatig.
Probleem: de opdracht Verwijderen kan niet worden gebruikt om producten in de map Exceptions
te verwijderen die niet zijn genstalleerd via het distributiepakket dat is gemaakt met Adobe
Application Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)
Oplossing: verwijder deze programmas via de optie Software.

Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) de menuopties voor registratie en updates in Adobe After Effects,
Bridge en Device Central voor CS5.5 zijn ingeschakeld, maar registratie en updates zijn
onderdrukt.
Oplossing: geen. Wanneer updates echter worden gestart vanuit deze toepassingen, ontvangen
gebruikers een melding dat de updates zijn onderdrukt. Dit betekent dat hoewel de menuoptie
voor updates niet is uitgeschakeld, de functionaliteit voor updates wel is onderdrukt.
Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) Als de invoermedia met de te verpakken producten beschadigd zijn,
kunnen mogelijk de volgende problemen voor de verschillende Mac OS-versies optreden:
Mac OS 10.1 tot en met 10.6: Mac OS geeft geen foutmelding. De ontbrekende gegevens
worden overgeslagen en het pakket wordt gemaakt. Als u het pakket vervolgens gaat
distribueren, kan de distributie mislukken vanwege de ontbrekende gegevens.
Mac OS 10.7: Mac OS geeft een foutmelding die echter niet vermeldt dat de invoermedia
mogelijk beschadigd zijn.
In beide gevallen worden de ontbrekende gegevens overgeslagen en wordt het pakket gemaakt.
Als u het pakket vervolgens gaat distribueren, kan de distributie mislukken vanwege de
ontbrekende gegevens.
Oplossing: gebruik onbeschadigde en goed werkende exemplaren van de invoermedia.
Probleem: Er kan een probleem optreden bij het uitvoeren van Adobe After Effects, Adobe Encore,
Adobe Premiere Pro en Adobe Soundbooth als deze producten zijn genstalleerd op een andere
locatie dan de reeds genstalleerde Adobe Creative Suite 5-producten. Als u bijvoorbeeld
Adobe Contribute vanaf de Adobe Creative Suite 5-media installeert op locatie A, kan
Adobe Soundbooth mogelijk niet worden uitgevoerd als deze toepassing is genstalleerd
op locatie B. (Windows/Mac OS)
Oplossing: u kunt het beste alle producten van Adobe Creative Suite 5 op dezelfde locatie
installeren. Dit kan de standaardlocatie of een aangepaste locatie zijn.
Probleem: (Alleen Windows) als u op een Windows-computer een pakket maakt met invoermedia op een
schijf, mislukt het samenstellen van het pakket als de opslaglocatie een gedeelde map in Mac OS is.
Oplossing: als u op een Windows-computer een pakket maakt met invoermedia op een schijf,
moet u het pakket niet opslaan in een gedeelde map in Mac OS.
Probleem: (Alleen Mac OS) wanneer Acrobat X Pro als onderdeel van een pakket voor
Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection is gedistribueerd, kan in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion het
verwijderen van Acrobat X Pro in sommige gevallen mislukken.
Oplossing: geen.

Probleem: als twee gedownloade updates dezelfde naam hebben en ouder zijn dan de beschikbare
versie op de updateserver van Adobe, wordt de melding dat een nieuwere versie beschikbaar
is voor slechts n update weergegeven. Dit gebeurt zelfs als de kanaal-ids van deze updates
verschillend zijn. Dit probleem kan zich voordoen als u in n pakket updates verpakt voor
de proef- en retailversie van hetzelfde product.
Oplossing: geen.
Probleem: in Mac OS: Als tijdens het samenstellen van het pakket de rootmap van het opstartvolume
is opgegeven als distributiedoel, wordt het installatieprogramma gedistribueerd naar de
standaardlocatie. In Windows: Als tijdens het samenstellen van het pakket een station zonder
mapnaam is opgegeven als distributiedoel, mislukt de installatie. Er wordt een beschrijvende
fout weggeschreven naar de logbestanden van het installatieprogramma. (Mac OS/Windows)
Oplossing: geef een andere locatie op als distributiedoel.
Probleem: als Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition actief is terwijl een pakket wordt
gedistribueerd, verschijnt het foutbericht: Er is een niet-gedistribueerde werkstroom actief.
Sluit de werkstroom voor u doorgaat. (Windows/Mac OS)
Oplossing: sluit Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition af voor u een pakket distribueert
naar een doelsysteem.
Probleem: wanneer u in Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) distribueert via ARD, mislukt de distributie
als tijdens de ARD-taak een gebruiker zich aan- of afmeldt of overschakelt naar een andere
gebruikersaccount. (Mac OS)
Oplossing: wacht enige tijd voor u de distributie opnieuw uitvoert.
Probleem: de menuopties voor registratie en updates in Adobe After Effects en Device Central
zijn ingeschakeld, maar registratie en updates zijn onderdrukt. (Windows/Mac OS)
Oplossing: hoewel deze menuopties worden weergegeven als ingeschakeld, worden met
de opties geen bewerkingen voor registratie en updates gestart.

I pacchetti esistenti possono essere aggiornati

Potete modificare un pacchetto esistente con gli aggiornamenti pi recenti, senza dover creare
nuovamente l'intero pacchetto. Ad esempio, se avete un pacchetto costituito da due prodotti e relativi
aggiornamenti, potete ora modificare il pacchetto in questione aggiungendo gli aggiornamenti pi
recenti disponibili; gli aggiornamenti saranno aggiunti al file MSI o PKG esistente, senza dover
creare nuovamente l'intero pacchetto. Questa funzione facilita la manutenzione dei pacchetti.
In questo caso, ad esempio, quando viene messo a disposizione un aggiornamento per uno dei
prodotti contenuti nel pacchetto, potete semplicemente sostituire l'aggiornamento contenuto nel
pacchetto con quello nuovo, senza dover creare un nuovo pacchetto.

La funzione opera nel modo seguente:

1. In questa versione, quando create un nuovo pacchetto, nella cartella del pacchetto viene creato
un file di configurazione del pacchetto denominato <nome pacchetto>.aamee.
2. Per aggiornare successivamente il pacchetto selezionate, nella schermata di benvenuto, l'opzione
Modifica pacchetto esistente (questa opzione stata aggiunta in questa versione).
3. Quando viene richiesto, individuate e selezionate il file (denominato

<nome pacchetto>.aamee) creato nel passaggio 1.
4. Nella schermata Aggiornamenti visualizzata, selezionate gli aggiornamenti

che intendete includere nel pacchetto, quindi selezionate Build.
Nota: nella schermata Aggiornamenti, gli aggiornamenti per i componenti che fanno gi parte
del pacchetto che state modificando, sono gi pre-selezionati e non possono essere deselezionati.
Se gli aggiornamenti mostrati nella schermata per questi componenti sono una versione pi recente di
quelli attualmente contenuti nel pacchetto, gli aggiornamenti saranno inclusi nel pacchetto. Questo
significa che per i prodotti contenuti nel pacchetto saranno sempre aggiunti gli aggiornamenti pi
recenti. Potete inoltre aggiungere al pacchetto gli aggiornamenti relativi ad altri componenti
semplicemente selezionandoli nella schermata Aggiornamenti.

Oltre alla Creative Suite 5 e 5.5, potete ora includere nei pacchetti le seguenti suite con
Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition:
Nota: Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition fornisce un supporto limitato per
Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 e Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Consultate le prime due voci della
sezione Problemi noti per le limitazioni che si applicano alla creazione e distribuzione
dei pacchetti dei prodotti con Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 e Adobe Acrobat X Suite:

L'elenco degli aggiornamenti disponibili pu essere filtrato per nome/i del prodotto
Durante la creazione dei pacchetti, potete ora filtrare l'elenco degli aggiornamenti per nome
del prodotto. Questo consente di visualizzare solo gli aggiornamenti relativi ai nomi di prodotto
desiderati.
Per utilizzare questa funzione, digitate il nome del prodotto nella casella di ricerca nella schermata
aggiornamenti. Potete inoltre indicare pi prodotti inserendo un elenco con i nomi separati da una
virgola.
Filtro per nome prodotto

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion e Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin sono supportati
Questa versione di Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition supporta Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
e Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin.
Le preferenze per la schermata di benvenuto e la schermata di configurazione

pacchetto vengono salvate
Quando create un pacchetto, le opzioni specificate nella schermata di benvenuto e nella schermata
di configurazione pacchetto vengono salvate. La prossima volta che creerete un nuovo pacchetto
sulla stessa macchina, i corrispondenti campi delle opzioni selezionate durante la creazione del
precedente pacchetto saranno pre-compilati.
Le preferenze vengono salvate nel file AAMEEPreferences.xml. La posizione del file la seguente:

Nelle versioni precedenti, non era possibile utilizzate pi CD o DVD per fornire il contenuto del
prodotto: era necessario caricare tutto il contenuto dei CD o DVD in una cartella di installazione
del prodotto.
Con questa versione, potete utilizzare prodotti contenuti su pi CD o DVD (o le relative immagini
montate DMG o ISO). Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition legger il contenuto del
primo disco e richieder poi di inserire il disco successivo. Il programma in grado di rilevare
automaticamente pi dischi inseriti in unit disco differenti. Ad esempio, se le informazioni
multimediali sono contenute sul disco 1 e sul disco 2 inseriti in unit disco diverse, Adobe Application
Manager Enterprise Edition in grado di rilevare e leggere automaticamente il contenuto del disco 1
e quindi quello del disco 2.
Nota: il caricamento dei contenuti da pi dischi funziona solo con CD e DVD, o con le relative
immagini montate ISO e DMG. Se i dati vengono semplicemente copiati su disco rigido, unit di rete,
unit USB e cos via, caricate le immagini in una cartella di installazione del prodotto come per le
precedenti versioni. Per ulteriori informazioni sulla creazione di una cartella di installazione del
prodotto, consultate la Guida per la distribuzione.
Nella stessa sessione possono essere creati pacchetti aggiuntivi

Nella precedente versione, la sessione terminava dopo aver creato il pacchetto. Per creare un nuovo
pacchetto, avreste dovuto avviare nuovamente Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition.
In questa versione, potete continuare a creare altri pacchetti o aggiornarne uno esistente nel corso
della stessa sessione. Dopo aver creato un pacchetto, fate clic su Nuovo pacchetto nella schermata
Riepilogo per tornare alla schermata di benvenuto, dalla quale potrete creare un altro pacchetto
o aggiornare/modificare un pacchetto esistente.
Fate clic su Nuovo pacchetto per continuare a creare o aggiornare

pacchetti nel corso della stessa sessione AAMEE.
La presenza di nuove versioni di Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition

viene rilevata automaticamente
Le nuove versioni di Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition vengono ora rilevate
automaticamente e si apre una finestra di dialogo nella quale vi viene richiesto se desiderate scaricare
la nuova versione. In questo modo, non sar necessario controllare e scaricare manualmente le nuove
versioni di Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition.
File ExceptionsInfo.txt con comandi per l'installazione dei payload di eccezione

disponibile per Mac OS
I comandi per l'installazione dei payload nella cartella Exceptions per Mac OS sono contenuti nel file
ExceptionsInfo.txt, contenuto nella cartella Exceptions. Il file era gi disponibile per la piattaforma

Problemi noti
I problemi seguenti si verificano quando si utilizza questa versione di Adobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition.
Problema: (solo Windows) quando si creano pacchetti per Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5
o Adobe Acrobat X Suite, potete includere Adobe Presenter nel pacchetto creato, nel qual
caso questo verr visualizzato nella schermata di riepilogo. Tuttavia, Adobe Presenter non
viene distribuito durante la distribuzione del pacchetto MSI. Durante la distribuzione non
viene visualizzato alcun messaggio di errore.
Soluzione alternativa: nessuna. Poich Adobe Presenter non pu essere distribuito, consigliabile
non includere Adobe Presenter durante la creazione di pacchetti per Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5
o Adobe Acrobat X Suite.
Problema: (solo Windows) la distribuzione di un pacchetto di Adobe Acrobat X Suite contenente
anche Adobe Presenter richiede che sulle macchine client sia installato Microsoft PowerPoint.
Questo problema non si verifica se Adobe Presenter non incluso nel pacchetto.
Soluzione alternativa: poich Adobe Presenter non pu essere distribuito, consigliabile
non includere Adobe Presenter durante la creazione di pacchetti per Adobe Acrobat X Suite.
Prima di distribuire un pacchetto di Adobe Acrobat X che contenga anche Adobe Presenter,
verificare che sulle macchine client sia installato Microsoft PowerPoint.
Problema: (solo Mac OS) Se durante la creazione di un pacchetto con Adobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition, si seleziona l'opzione "Disabilita componenti Air nel pacchetto" nella
schermata Configura pacchetto, i pacchetti basati su AIR quali Adobe Community Help e Adobe
Media Player non sono inclusi nel pacchetto. Questo richiesto in determinati scenari, ad
esempio quando si esegue un'installazione basata su ssh o per evitare l'immissione manuale delle

credenziali del proxy. Questi pacchetti vengono copiati nella cartella Exceptions ed possibile
distribuirli separatamente sui computer client.
Tuttavia, per un computer client che esegue Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, i pacchetti nella cartella
Exceptions non possono essere installati mediante ssh se nessun utente ha eseguito l'accesso al
computer client.
Nota: questo problema si verifica quando i computer eseguono MAC OS X 10.7 Lion. L'uso da
parte dell'amministratore di un computer che esegue MAC OS 10.7 Lion non influenza
l'installazione dei pacchetti nella cartella Exceptions.
Soluzione alternativa: per installare pacchetti basati su AIR dalla cartella Exceptions su un
computer client che esegue Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, assicurarsi che un utente abbia eseguito l'accesso
al computer client.
Problema: (solo Windows) quando distribuite un pacchetto che contiene Adobe Technical
Communication Suite 3.5, i seguenti prodotti, contenuti nella cartella Exceptions, non possono
essere installati (con un'eccezione, indicata di seguito):

Acrobat X contiene una versione pi recente, per cui non necessario installare questo
pacchetto dopo l'installazione di Acrobat X.
Questo non pi richiesto con Windows Vista e versioni successive. Tuttavia, questo
pacchetto pu essere installato con Windows XP versione a 32 bit.
Soluzione alternativa: non applicabile.

Problema: (solo Mac OS)
Il comando nel file ExceptionInfo.txt per l'installazione del payload Adobe Air di CS5 per
Mac OS ha un argomento aggiuntivo "silenzioso", che non dovrebbe essere presente e a causa
del quale il comando non pu installare il payload Adobe AIR per CS5 (consultate il testo
in rosso alla fine del seguente comando)
Soluzione alternativa: utilizzate al suo posto il seguente comando (che non ha l'argomento
"silent" dopo il parametro "-silent" alla fine):

Problema: dopo aver distribuito Adobe Dreamweaver come parte della eLearning Suite 2.5, quando
avviate Dreamweaver per la prima volta, Extension Manager avvia e visualizza il contratto di
licenza per l'utente finale (EULA) relativo a CourseBuilder per Dreamweaver CS5.5 Extension.
Soluzione alternativa: nessuna.
Problema: quando avviate Extension Manager per la prima volta, viene visualizzata una richiesta
di autenticazione.
Problema: dopo aver installato Adobe Dreamweaver Widget Browser, all'avvio delle applicazioni
basate su AIR, viene visualizzato il contratto di licenza con l'utente finale (EULA) per AIR.
Problema: dopo aver installato con successo i componenti di AIR, il tentativo di reinstallarli
potrebbe causare un errore.
Soluzione alternativa: dopo aver installato con successo i componenti di AIR, non cercate
di reinstallarli.
Problema: (solo Mac OS) La distribuzione del pacchetto mediante Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 non
riesce nello scenario in cui tutte le seguenti condizioni sono vere:
il nome del pacchetto contiene caratteri a doppio byte
il pacchetto distribuito in modalit Esegui l'attivit selezionata dal server attivit su

questo computer
il sistema operativo Mac OS X 10.5/10.7
nessun utente ha eseguito l'accesso sul computer di destinazione.
Problema: (solo Mac OS) il programma di aggiornamento di Acrobat non pu essere soppresso
con AAMEE, se sulla macchina stato precedentemente installato ed in funzione Acrobat 10
(in cui il programma di aggiornamento non stato soppresso).
Problema: (solo Mac OS) l'installazione del pacchetto CS5/ CS5.5 non riesce se prima installate
Adobe Acrobat 9 o Adobe Acrobat X usando il metodo snapshot (istantanea) di Casper Suite
di JAMF.
Soluzione alternativa: Acrobat X disponibile come pacchetto per la distribuzione.
Quindi, distribuirlo mediante il metodo policy (criterio) o un altro metodo per la distribuzione
dei pacchetti supportato da Casper.

Per Acrobat 9, eseguite i seguenti passaggi, dopo l'installazione di Acrobat 9, ma prima

di installare CS5 o CS5.5:
1. Eseguite il backup delle cartelle "Profiles" e "Recommended" in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles
2. Eliminate le cartelle "Profiles" e "Recommended" di cui avete eseguito il backup nel
passaggio 1
3. Installate i pacchetti CS5/CS5.5. Al termine dell'installazione, vengono creati collegamenti
simbolici per "Profiles" e "Recommended" nel percorso
Nota: in alcuni casi, la distribuzione del pacchetto CS5/CS5.5 potrebbe non riuscire. In tali casi,
ripristinate il backup eseguito nel passaggio 1 per assicurare il corretto funzionamento di Acrobat.
Problema: (solo Mac OS) le applicazioni di Acrobat Updater vengono perse quando gli
aggiornamenti vengono applicati all'installazione di Acrobat X dopo la distribuzione.
Soluzione alternativa: per riabilitare la soppressione di Acrobat X, eseguite i passaggi illustrati
nella sezione "Gestione della funzione di blocco in Mac OS dopo aver applicato gli aggiornamenti"
nel capitolo "Distribuzione di Adobe Acrobat" della Guida per la distribuzione.
Problema: dopo l'installazione in modalit di prova e la successiva serializzazione con Adobe
Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE), al primo avvio di alcuni prodotti vengono
richieste le credenziali di amministratore.
Soluzione alternativa: questo si verifica con Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5,
Adobe After Effects CS5 e Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Durante la creazione di pacchetti di questi
prodotti, fornire i numeri di serie durante la creazione del pacchetto.
Problema: l'Aiuto viene avviato nel browser predefinito anzich nel client Adobe Help. (Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: verificate che Adobe Help sia configurato correttamente sui computer di
destinazione dopo la distribuzione, creando collegamenti simbolici tramite il comando seguente,
come specificato nella Guida per la distribuzione.
Problema: le preferenze utente non vengono rimosse dalla macchina di destinazione alla
disinstallazione utilizzando il pacchetto Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition.
(Windows/Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: rimuovere le preferenze utente manualmente.
Problema: il comando di disinstallazione non disponibile per la disinstallazione di prodotti
nella cartella "Exceptions", che non sono installati tramite il pacchetto di distribuzione creato
con Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)

Soluzione alternativa: rimuovere questi programmi tramite Installazione applicazioni.

Problema: (solo Mac OS) le voci di menu Registrazione e Aggiorna per Adobe After Effects,
Bridge e Device Central per CS5.5 sono abilitate, anche se la registrazione e l'aggiornamento
sono stati soppressi.
Soluzione alternativa: nessuna. Tuttavia, all'avvio degli aggiornamenti per queste applicazioni,
l'utente ricever la notifica che gli aggiornamenti sono stati soppressi. Questo significa che, anche
se la voce del menu "Aggiornamenti" non disabilitata, la funzione di aggiornamento rimane
soppressa.
Problema: (solo Mac OS) se il supporto contenente i prodotti da cui creare il pacchetto danneggiato,
potrebbero verificarsi problemi diversi a seconda della versione Mac OS, come descritto di seguito:
Mac OS versioni da 10.1 a 10.6: non viene visualizzato alcun errore Mac OS. I dati
mancanti vengono ignorati e il pacchetto viene creato. Successivamente, quando cercherete
di distribuire il pacchetto, l'operazione potrebbe non riuscire a causa dei dati mancanti.
Mac OS versione 10.7: viene visualizzato un errore Mac OS, che non indica per il possibile
danneggiamento del supporto multimediale.
In entrambi i casi, i dati mancanti vengono ignorati e il pacchetto viene creato. Successivamente,
quando cercherete di distribuire il pacchetto, l'operazione potrebbe non riuscire a causa dei dati
mancanti.
Soluzione alternativa: Utilizzate una copia funzionante (non danneggiata) del supporto
di caricamento.
Problema: si potrebbe verificare un problema di esecuzione dei prodotti Adobe After Effects,
Adobe Encore, Adobe Premiere Pro e Adobe Soundbooth se questi sono installati in un percorso
diverso da quello di altri prodotti Adobe Creative Suite 5 gi installati. Ad esempio, se si installa
Adobe Contribute nel percorso "A" da supporto Adobe Creative Suite 5, possibile che Adobe
Soundbooth non venga eseguito se viene installato nel percorso "B". (Windows/Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: si consiglia di installare tutti i prodotti di Adobe Creative Suite 5 nello
stesso percorso. Il percorso pu essere uno predefinito o personalizzato.
Problema: (solo Windows) Se create un pacchetto su un computer Windows usando supporti di
origine su disco, il processo di creazione del pacchetto non riesce se il percorso di salvataggio
una cartella condivisa Mac OS.
Soluzione alternativa: Quando create un pacchetto su un computer Windows usando supporti
di origine su disco, non salvare il pacchetto in una cartella condivisa Mac OS.

Problema: (solo Mac OS) Su Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, in alcuni casi la disinstallazione di Acrobat X
Pro, distribuito come parte di un pacchetto Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection, potrebbe non
riuscire correttamente.
Problema: se due aggiornamenti scaricati hanno lo stesso nome e sono precedenti alla versione
disponibile sul server di aggiornamento Adobe, il messaggio di avviso relativo alla disponibilit
di una versione pi recente viene visualizzato solo per un aggiornamento. Questo si verifica
anche se gli ID di canale di questi aggiornamenti sono differenti. Questo scenario si pu
verificare quando tentate di inserire gli aggiornamenti della versione di prova e di quella retail
dello stesso prodotto nello stesso pacchetto.
Problema: in Mac OS, se la directory principale del volume da cui si eseguito l'avvio specificata
come destinazione della distribuzione quando si crea un pacchetto, il programma di installazione
eseguir la distribuzione nel percorso predefinito. In Windows, se un'unit senza un nome di cartella
specificata come destinazione della distribuzione quando si crea un pacchetto, l'installazione
non riesce. Nei registri di installazione viene riportato un errore descrittivo. (Mac OS/Windows)
Soluzione alternativa: fornire un percorso alternativo come destinazione di distribuzione.
Problema: se Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition in esecuzione durante la distribuzione
di un pacchetto, viene visualizzato un messaggio di errore: "Alcuni flussi di lavoro non distribuiti
sono in esecuzione. Chiuderli prima di continuare." (Windows/Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: uscire da Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition prima
di distribuire un pacchetto in un sistema di destinazione.
Problema: quando si esegue la distribuzione tramite ARD in Mac OS versione 10.6 (Snow Leopard),
la distribuzione non riesce se un utente esegue l'accesso, si disconnette oppure cambia utente
durante l'attivit ARD. (Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: attendere qualche minuto, quindi eseguire nuovamente la distribuzione.
Problema: le voci di menu Registrazione e Aggiorna per Adobe After Effects e DeviceCentral sono
abilitate, anche se la registrazione e l'aggiornamento sono stati soppressi. (Windows/Mac OS)
Soluzione alternativa: anche se le voci di menu sono visualizzate come abilitate, non avviano
operazioni di registrazione o aggiornamento.

Ahora, puede modificar un paquete existente con las actualizaciones ms recientes sin tener que
construir nuevamente un paquete completo. Por ejemplo, si tiene un paquete que contiene dos
productos y sus actualizaciones, ahora puede modificar este paquete aadiendo las actualizaciones
ms recientes disponibles. Las actualizaciones se aadirn al archivo MSI o PKG existente sin
reconstruir todo el paquete. Esta funcin le ayuda a mantener los paquetes fcilmente. Por ejemplo,
en este caso, cuando est disponible una actualizacin para uno de los productos, simplemente puede
reemplazar la actualizacin existente en el paquete por la nueva actualizacin, sin tener que crear ni
mantener un paquete nuevo.

Esta funcin acta de la siguiente manera:

1. En esta versin, al crear un nuevo paquete, se crea un archivo de configuracin del paquete con el
nombre <package_name>.aamee en la carpeta del paquete.
2. Si despus desea actualizar este paquete, en la Pantalla de bienvenida, seleccione la opcin
Modificar paquete existente (esta opcin se agreg en esta versin).
3. Cuando se le solicite, vaya hasta el archivo de configuracin del paquete (con el nombre
<package_name>.aamee) que se cre en el paso 1.
4. En la pantalla Actualizaciones que aparece, seleccione las actualizaciones que desea incluir en el
paquete y luego seleccione Build (Compilar).
Nota: En la pantalla Actualizaciones, las actualizaciones para componentes que ya forman parte del
paquete que est modificando aparecen seleccionadas de manera predeterminada y no se pueden
desactivar. Si las actualizaciones que aparecen en la pantalla para esos componentes son de una versin
superior que la de los componentes que ya se encuentran en el paquete, las actualizaciones se
empaquetarn. Es decir, las actualizaciones ms recientes para los componentes que ya se encuentran en el
paquete siempre se empaquetan. Si lo desea, puede empaquetar actualizaciones para otros componentes
seleccionndolas en la pantalla Actualizaciones.

Adems de Creative Suite 5 y 5.5, ahora, con Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition puede

Para usar esta funcin, escriba el nombre del producto en el cuadro de bsqueda en la pantalla de
actualizaciones. Tambin puede especificar varios productos si escribe una lista con los nombres de
los productos separados por comas.

Lion y Apple Remote Desktop 3.5 Admin.
Se guardan las preferencias de la Pantalla de bienvenida y la pantalla Configurar

paquete.
Cuando crea un paquete, se guardan las opciones que especific en la Pantalla de bienvenida y en la
pantalla Configurar paquete. La prxima vez que cree un nuevo paquete en el mismo equipo, las
opciones que seleccion durante la creacin del paquete anterior ya estarn incluidas en los archivos
correspondientes.
Las preferencias se guardan en el archivo AAMEEPreferences.xml. La ubicacin del archivo es la

siguiente:
Windows Vista y Windows 7:%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Enterprise
Se pueden crear paquetes mediante el uso de entradas de varios discos.

En versiones anteriores, no poda usar varios CD o DVD para proporcionar el contenido de los
productos; haba que combinar el contenido de los CD o DVD en una carpeta de instalacin de
productos.
En esta versin, puede utilizar varios CD o DVD (o las imgenes ISO o DMG asignadas) para
proporcionar el contenido de los productos. AdobeApplication Manager Enterprise Edition lee el
contenido del primer disco y luego le solicita que inserte el siguiente disco.Los discos que inserte en
las distintas unidades de disco se detectarn automticamente. Por ejemplo, si proporciona
informacin de medios a travs del disco 1 y disco 2 en unidades de disco independientes, Adobe

reciente. De esta forma, no tiene que buscar y descargar manualmente las nuevas versiones de Adobe
Application Manager Enterprise Edition.
Se encuentra disponible el archivo ExceptionsInfo.txt para Mac OS con comandos para

la instalacin de cargas tiles de excepcin.
Los comandos para la instalacin de cargas tiles en la carpeta Excepciones para Mac OS se
encuentran disponibles en el archivo ExceptionsInfo.txt, ubicado en la carpeta Excepciones. En la
versin anterior, este archivo ya se encontraba disponible para la plataforma de Windows.

Problemas conocidos
Al utilizar esta versin de Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition, se producen los siguientes
problemas.
Problema: (solo para Windows) Al empaquetar Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 o Adobe Acrobat X
Suite, se puede incluir Adobe Presenter en el paquete que se crea y, si se incluye, tambin
aparecer en la pantalla Resumen. Sin embargo, Adobe Presenter no se implementa al
implementar el paquete MSI. No se muestra ningn mensaje de error durante la implementacin.
Solucin: Ninguna. Como Adobe Presenter no se puede implementar, se recomienda no incluirlo
al empaquetar Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 o Adobe Acrobat X Suite.
Problema: (solo para Windows) Para implementar un paquete de Adobe Acrobat X Suite que
tambin contenga Adobe Presenter, es necesario que los equipos cliente tengan instalado
Microsoft PowerPoint. Este problema no se genera si no se incluye Adobe Presenter en el
paquete.
Solucin: Como Adobe Presenter no se puede implementar, se recomienda no incluirlo al
empaquetar Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Adems, asegrese de que Microsoft Power Point est
instalado en los equipos cliente antes de implementar un paquete de Adobe Acrobat X Suite que
tambin contenga Adobe Presenter.

Problema: (solo para Mac OS) Cuando se crea un paquete mediante Adobe Application Manager
Enterprise Edition, si selecciona la opcin Desactive los componentes Air en el paquete en la
pantalla Configurar paquete, los paquetes basados en AIR como Adobe Community Help y
Adobe Media Player no estarn incluidos en el paquete. Esto se requiere en ciertos casos, por
ejemplo mientras se lleva a cabo una instalacin basada en ssh o para evitar la entrada manual de
credenciales proxy. Estos paquetes se copian en la carpeta Excepciones y se pueden instalar por
separado en los equipos cliente.
Sin embargo, para un equipo cliente que se est ejecutando con Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, los
paquetes en la carpeta Excepciones no se pueden instalar mediante ssh si ningn usuario ha
iniciado sesin en dicho equipo cliente.
Nota: esto ocurre cuando los equipos cliente se ejecutan con MAC OS X 10.7 Lion. Utilizar un
equipo de administracin que se ejecuta con MAC OS 10.7 Lion no afecta la instalacin de los
paquetes en la carpeta Excepciones.
Solucin: Para instalar paquetes basados en AIR desde la carpeta Excepciones en un equipo
cliente que se ejecuta con MAC OS 10.7 X Lion, asegrese de que un usuario haya iniciado
sesin en el equipo cliente cuando usted est instalando los paquetes en la carpeta Excepciones.
Problema: (solo para Windows) Cuando se implementa un paquete que contiene Adobe Technical
Communication Suite 3.5, no se pueden instalar los siguientes productos que estn en la carpeta
Excepciones (con una excepcin que se menciona debajo):

Acrobat X contiene una versin ms reciente, as que no es necesario instalar este paquete
despus de instalar Acrobat X.
Ya no se requiere para Windows Vista y en adelante. Sin embargo, este paquete se puede
instalar para la versin de 32 bits de Windows XP.

Problema: (solo en Mac OS) La implementacin de paquetes mediante Apple Remote Desktop 3.5
falla cuando se cumplen todas las siguientes condiciones:
El nombre del paquete contiene caracteres de doble byte.
El paquete se implementa en el modo Run this task from the Task Server on this
computer (Ejecutar esta tarea desde el servidor de tareas de este equipo).
El sistema operativo es Mac OS X 10.5/10.7
No hay ningn usuario con sesin iniciada en la mquina de destino.
Problema: (solo para Mac OS) No se puede suprimir Acrobat Updater por medio de AAMEE si
previamente se instal Acrobat 10 en el equipo (en el que no se puede suprimir Updater) y este se
est ejecutando.
Solucin: Ninguna.
Problema: (solo para Mac OS) Si instala Adobe Acrobat 9 o Adobe Acrobat X con el mtodo
instantneo de JAMF Casper Suite, la instalacin del paquete CS5/CS5.5 producir errores.

Solucin: Acrobat X se encuentra disponible como paquete de implementacin. Por lo tanto,

implemntelo a travs del mtodo de norma u otro mtodo que sea compatible con Casper para la
implementacin de paquetes.
Para Acrobat 9, realice los siguientes pasos, despusde instalar Acrobat 9 pero antes de instalar
CS5 o CS5.5:
1. Cree una copia de seguridad de las carpetas Perfiles y Recomendado disponibles en
Library/ColorSync/Profiles.
2. Elimine las carpetas Perfiles y Recomendado para las que cre copias de seguridad en el
paso 1.
3. Instale el/los paquete(s) CS5/CS5.5. Luego de la instalacin exitosa, se crean vnculos
simblicos para Perfiles y Recomendado en
Nota: En algunos casos, la implementacin del paquete CS5/CS5.5 puede fallar. En tales casos,
restaure las copias de seguridad hechas en el paso 1 para asegurarse de que Acrobat funciona
correctamente.
Problema: (solo para Mac OS) Cuando se aplican actualizaciones a la instalacin de Acrobat X
despus de la implementacin, se pierde la configuracin de Acrobat Updater.
Solucin: Para volver a activar la supresin de Acrobat X, realice los pasos que se explican en la
seccin Manejo del bloqueo de funciones en Mac OS despus de realizar actualizaciones en el
captulo Implementacin de Adobe Acrobat de la Gua de implementacin.
Problema: tras la instalacin en modo de prueba y la posterior serializacin con Adobe Provisioning
Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE), la primera vez que se ejecuten determinados productos se
solicitarn las credenciales de administrador.
Solucin: Esto ocurre en Adobe Encore CS5, Adobe Soundbooth CS5, Adobe After Effects CS5 y
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. Al empaquetar estos productos, proporcione los nmeros de serie
durante la creacin del paquete.
Problema: La seccin Ayuda se inicia en el navegador predeterminado en vez de iniciarse en el
cliente de Adobe Help. (Mac OS)
Solucin: Asegrese de que Adobe Help est configurado correctamente en los equipos de
destino despus de la implementacin, creando un vnculo simblico mediante el uso del
siguiente comando, tal como se especifica en la Gua de implementacin.
Problema: Las preferencias del usuario no se eliminan del equipo de destino en la desinstalacin con

Problema: El comando de desinstalacin no est disponible para la desinstalacin de productos de la

carpeta Excepciones que no estn instalados a travs del paquete de implementacin creado con
Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)
Solucin: Elimine estos programas por medio de Agregar o Quitar programas.
Problema: (solo para Mac OS) Los elementos del men Registro y Actualizacin para Adobe After
Effects, Bridge y Device Central para CS5 estn habilitados, aun cuando hayan sido suprimidos.
Solucin: Ninguna. Sin embargo, al ejecutar actualizaciones desde estas aplicaciones, se
notificar al usuario sobre la supresin de las actualizaciones. Es decir, aunque el elemento del
men Actualizaciones no est deshabilitado, se suprime la funcionalidad de la actualizacin.

daado, podra existir un problema para diferentes versiones de Mac OS, como se muestra a

Mac OS, versiones 10.1 a 10.6: No se muestra ningn error en Mac OS. Se omite la
informacin que falta y se crea el paquete. Despus, cuando se intenta implementar el
paquete, la implementacin puede fallar debido a la informacin que falta.
Mac OS, versin 10.7: Se muestra un error en Mac OS, que no indica que el medio de
entrada pueda estar daado.
En ambos casos, se omite la informacin que falta y se crea el paquete. Despus, cuando se
intenta implementar el paquete, la implementacin puede fallar debido a la informacin que falta.
Solucin: Use una copia funcional (que no est daada) de los medios de entrada.
Problema: Puede haber un problema en la ejecucin de los productos Adobe After Effects, Adobe
Encore, Adobe Premiere Pro y Adobe Soundbooth si se los instala en una ubicacin que es
diferente a la ubicacin de otros productos de Adobe Creative Suite 5 instalados previamente.
Por ejemplo, si instala Adobe Contribute en la ubicacin A de los medios de Adobe Creative

algunos casos, Acrobat X Pro no se desinstale correctamente.

Problema: Si se descargan dos actualizaciones con el mismo nombre y son ms antiguas que la
versin disponible en el servidor de Adobe Update, se muestra un aviso de advertencia de que
existe una versin ms reciente solo para una actualizacin. Esto ocurre incluso cuando las

implementacin falla si un usuario inicia o cierra sesin, o cambia a otro usuario durante la tarea

Solucin: Espere unos minutos y despus vuelva a implementar.

I tidigare utgvor gick det inte att anvnda flera cd- eller dvd-skivor fr inmatning av
produktinnehll. I stllet var du tvungen att sl samman innehllet frn flera skivor till en
installationsmapp.
I den hr utgvan kan du anvnda flera cd- eller dvd-skivor (eller ISO- eller DMG-anslutna avbilder)
fr produktinnehllet. Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition lser innehllet p den frsta
skivan och sedan uppmanas du att stta in nsta. Flera skivor som stts in i olika enheter upptcks
automatiskt. Om du till exempel anger medieinformation via skiva 1 och 2 i olika enheter upptcker
Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition dem automatiskt och lser innehllet frst p skiva 1
och sedan p skiva 2.
Obs! Att mata in data frn flera skivor fungerar bara med cd- eller dvd-skivor eller ISO- eller DMGanslutna avbilder av skivorna. Om data har kopierats till en hrddisk, ntverksenhet, USB-enhet och
s vidare mste bilderna sls samman i en installationsmapp som i tidigare utgvor. Mer information

Nedanstende fel kan uppst nr den hr versionen av Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition
anvnds.
Problem: (Endast Windows) Nr du packar Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 eller Adobe Acrobat X Suite
kan Adobe Presenter tas med i paketet som skapas och ven visas p sammanfattningsskrmen.
Adobe Presenter distribueras dock inte nr du distribuerar MSI-paketet. Inget felmeddelande
visas under distributionen.
Lsning: Ingen. Eftersom Adobe Presenter inte kan distribueras rekommenderar vi att du inte tar
med Adobe Presenter nr du packar Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 eller Adobe Acrobat X Suite.
Problem: (Endast Windows) Nr ett paket med Adobe Acrobat X Suite som ocks innehller Adobe
Presenter distribueras mste Microsoft PowerPoint vara installerat p klientdatorerna. Problemet
uppstr inte om Adobe Presenter inte ingr i paketet.
Lsning: Eftersom Adobe Presenter inte kan distribueras rekommenderar vi att du inte tar med
Adobe Presenter nr du packar Adobe Acrobat X Suite. Annats ser du till att Microsoft
PowerPoint har installerats p klientdatorerna innan du distribuerar ett paket med Adobe Acrobat
X Suite som innehller Adobe Presenter.
Problem: (Endast Mac OS) Om du skapar ett paket med Adobe Application Manager Enterprise
Edition och markerar "Inaktivera Air-komponenter i paket" p paketkonfigurationsskrmen,
inkluderas inte AIR-baserade paket som t.ex. Adobe Community Help och Adobe Media Player i
paketet. Detta r ndvndigt i vissa scenarier, till exempel vid ssh-baserad installation eller nr
manuell inmatning av proxy-inloggningsuppgifter ska undvikas. Dessa paket kopieras i mappen
Exceptions och du kan installera dem separat p klientdatorerna.
Om en klientdator har Mac OS X 10.7 Lion kan dock inte paketen i mappen Exceptions

har MAC OS 10.7 X Lion mste du kontrollera att en anvndare r inloggad p klientdatorn nr
du installerar paketen i mappen Exceptions.
Problem: (Endast Windows) Nr du distribuerar ett paket som innehller Adobe Technical
Communication Suite 3.5 gr det inte att installera fljande produkter som finns i
undantagsmappen (med ett undantag som anges nedan):

Acrobat X innehller en senare version och detta paket behver inte installeras nr Acrobat X
har installerats.
Detta krvs inte frn och med Windows Vista och framt. Det gr dock att installera paketet
fr 32-bitarsversionen av Windows XP.
Lsning: Gller inte.

Problem: (Endast Mac OS)
Kommandot i filen ExceptionInfo.txt fr installation av Adobe Air-nyttolast fr CS5 och Mac OS
har det extra argumentet silent. Argumentet ska inte vara dr och det gr att Adobe AIR-nyttolasten
fr CS5 inte kan installeras med kommandot (se text i rtt i slutet av fljande kommando)
Lsning: Anvnd i stllet fljande kommando (som inte har argumentet silent efter parametern silent i slutet):

Problem: Nr Adobe Dreamweaver har distribuerats som en del i eLearning Suite 2.5 och nr
Dreamweaver startas frsta gngen startas ocks Extension Manager och distribuerar EULA fr
CourseBuilder fr Dreamweaver CS5.5 Extension.
Lsning: Ingen.
Problem: Nr Extension Manager startas frsta gngen visas ett autentiseringsmeddelande.
Lsning: Ingen.
Problem: Nr Adobe Dreamweaver Widget Browser har installerats visas AIR EULA (End-User
License Agreement) nr AIR-baserade program startas.

gonblicksbildsmetoden i JAMF Casper Suite gr det sedan inte att installera CS5/CS5.5-paketet.
Lsning: Acrobat X finns som paket fr distribution. Drfr ska du distribuera det via
policymetoden eller en annan Casper-stdd metod fr paketdistribution.
Fr Acrobat 9 utfr du fljande steg efter att du har installerat Acrobat 9 men innan du installerar
CS5 eller CS5.5:
1. Skerhetskopiera mapparna Profiles och Recommended i /Library/ColorSync/Profiles

Lsning: Ta bort anvndarinstllningarna manuellt.
Problem: Avinstallationskommandot r inte tillgngligt fr avinstallation av produkter i mappen
Exceptions som inte har installerats med distributionspaketet som skapades med Adobe
Application Manager Enterprise Edition. (Windows)
Lsning: Ta bort dessa program via Lgg till eller ta bort program.
Problem: (Endast Mac OS): Menyobjekt fr registrering och uppdatering fr Adobe After Effects,
Bridge och Device Central for CS5.5 r aktiverade, ven om registrering och uppdatering har
inaktiverats.

Lsning: Ingen. Nr uppdateringar frn dessa program startas meddelas dock anvndarna om att
uppdateringarna r inaktiverade. Det betyder att trots att uppdateringsmenyalternativet inte r
inaktiverat r nd funktionen inaktiv.
Problem: (Endast Mac OS) Om mediet som innehller produkterna r skadat kan det bli problem fr
olika Mac OS-versioner:
Mac OS version 10.1 till 10.6: Inget Mac OS-fel visas. Saknade data hoppas ver och
paketet skapas. Nr du sedan frsker att distribuera paketet kan det misslyckas p grund av
att data saknas.
Mac OS version 10.7: Ett Mac OS-fel visas, men det anger inte att mediet kan vara skadat.
I bda fallen hoppas saknade data ver och paketet skapas. Nr du sedan frsker att distribuera
paketet kan det misslyckas p grund av att data saknas.
Lsning: Anvnd en fungerande skiva.
Problem: Det kan bli problem att kra Adobe After Effects, Adobe Encore, Adobe Premiere Pro och
Adobe Soundbooth om de installeras p en annan plats n dr vriga produkter i Adobe Creative
Suite 5 redan har installerats. Om du till exempel installerar Adobe Contribute p plats A frn
Adobe Creative Suite 5-skivan kan kanske inte Adobe Soundbooth kras om produkten
installeras p plats B. (Windows/Mac OS)
Lsning: Vi rekommenderar att alla produkter i Adobe Creative Suite 5 installeras p samma
plats. Det spelar ingen roll om det r standardplatsen eller en annan plats.
Problem: (Endast Windows) Om du skapar ett paket p en Windows-dator med hjlp av media p
disk misslyckas byggprocessen fr paketet om lagringsplatsen r en Mac OS-delad mapp.
Lsning: Nr du skapar ett paket p en Windows-dator med hjlp av media p disk ska du inte
spara paketet i en Mac OS-delad mapp.
Problem: (Endast Mac OS) Om du frsker att avinstallera Acrobat X Pro som har installerats som
en del i Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection i Mac OS X 10.7 Lion kan det hnda att Acrobat X
Pro inte avinstalleras korrekt.

Problem: Om tv hmtade uppdateringar har samma namn och r ldre n versionen som finns p
Adobes uppdateringsserver visas ett varningsmeddelande om att det finns en nyare version bara
fr en uppdatering. Detta gller ven om kanal-id:na fr uppdateringarna inte r samma. Det hr
kan hnda om du frsker att packa uppdateringar fr bde utvrderingsversionen och
terfrsljarversionen i samma paket.

Problem: Om rotkatalogen i startvolymen har angetts som distributionsml nr ett paket skapades i
Mac OS grs distributionen till standardplatsen. Om en enhet utan mappnamn har angetts som
distributionsml nr ett paket skapades i Windows misslyckas distributionen. En felbeskrivning
sparas i loggen till installationsprogrammet. (Mac OS/Windows)
Lsning: Ange en alternativ plats som distributionsml.
Problem: Om Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition krs nr ett paket distribueras visas ett
