Basic digital logic design course; topics covered include numbers


systems, codes, boolean algebra, combinational logic, arithmetic,
MSI logic circuits, latches/flip flops, counters/registers, sequential
circuit design, memory devices and digital electronics

Expected
Outcomes

A student who successfully fulfills the course requirements will


have demonstrated an ability to
1. Perform arithmetic operations in many number systems.
2. Manipulate Boolean algebraic structures.
3. Analyze and design various combinational logic circuits.
4. Analyze and design clocked sequential circuits.
