images is called Computer Animation.
2D Animation
2D animation figures are created
and/or edited on the computer using
2D bitmap graphics or created and
edited using 2D vector graphics.
3D Animation
3D animation is digitally modeled and
manipulated by an animator.

Motion Capture
In this technique censors are attached
with the body and a 3D video/movie is
created on the computer with the use
of some software.
The best example of motion capture is
AVATAR.
